verything was what we wanted. I have NEVER heard so many compliments on a meal. We had appetizers and charcuterie during our cocktail hour and everyone raved about the service, the food, and the set up. We did a buffet style dinner with salad, two meats, pasta, veggies, mac & cheese, and rolls - as well as the baked potato bar. Everything was a hit with our crowd! Ruben had great customer service throughout the year plus of our wedding planning process and worked with m now husband to customized the flavor profile for the prime rib. Everyone was so polite on the day of — we received a lot of compliments from our guests about the service they received from all of the catering staff. We would recommend Ruben & Taste of Heaven Cafe to anyone!

n issue. During my taste testing I requested gold flatware and clear chargers he told me that would be no problem. 1 month prior to my wedding he told me he couldn’t get either. I had to scramble around to get what I wanted last minute because the place settings they had was absolutely terrible. Fast forward to the wedding. Appetizers were great dinner was horrible cornbread was hard, Asparagus was over cooked, fish was undercooked, chicken had a weird mushy texture. He didn’t have enough servers my coordinator had to serve plates and my bartenders helped him serve his drinks, they also did not provide water and tea which was in my contract. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. 10/10 would not recommend.

, she would ask how planning was going and if I was getting excited for the big day. The whole staff made very clear they were honored to have been chosen to help with our day. The chef made special accommodations for my mother who has Celiac - for no extra cost - they prepared her a special meal, packaged it separately and with clear care. They were on time and totally professional when they arrived to set up our buffet -- they just slipped in the background and set everything up beautifully and swiftly -- we barely knew they were there! Which we appreciated because we were in the middle of wedding festivities! They came back and cleaned, again quickly and swiftly. The food was AWESOME. Everyone at my wedding complimented it and we all fought over who got to keep the leftovers ha! A wonderful and professional company that CLEARLY values costumer service, good food, and making sure wedding days are special.

professionalism I experienced with them after our first interaction. Tiawana was so responsive and happy to answer any and all questions that I or my clients had. Chef Reuben and his onsite team were happy to accommodate anything that we needed. Outside of the outstanding customer service, the food itself was DELICIOUS. We were able to customize the menu offerings for each event to the tastes of each client without any issue and the suggestions the TOHC team had were perfect to complement the desires of each of my clients. We were able to work with the TOHC team to work within each event budget and didn't go a dime over. Whenever my clients bring me to the Charlotte area and have catering needs, Taste of Heaven Cafe will be my first call!
