About this vendor
Tampa Bay Food Trucks is the leading food truck wedding caterer in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. Our team works with you from start to finish with booking food trucks, building your custom menu, providing an easy hand off set up and more for the big day.
Services Offered
Tampa Bay Food Trucks is a full-service business that works with self-contained food trucks. We can offer the flexibility you want for your wedding by doing what most caterers cannot, serving fresh and hot food prepared on site.
Food truck wedding catering creates a more sociable and memorable dining experience among guests, as this unique service and setup is a first for most attendees. This experience encourages mingling in a way that's impractical in a standard sit-down service. Will your wedding be kid-friendly? We can help you select a menu that works for dietary needs, children and picky eaters alike! We here at Tampa Bay Food Trucks have been providing wedding food truck catering service for West and Central Florida since 2013.
Cuisine
Whether you need a caterer for the rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, late night snack or even the morning-after brunch, Tampa Bay Food Trucks works with a wide network of trucks and can offer multiple cuisines to fit every taste and need. Something not all caterers can do. A variety of dietary accommodations can also be accommodated. Besides dinner options we also offer dessert options, including cakes, cookies and pies.
Examples of popular cuisine styles include:
Asian fusion
American
Barbecue
Caribbean
Cheesesteaks
Italian
Latin
Mediterranean
Seafood
Southern
Tex-Mex
And More!
The next step in the process would be to verify that your chosen venue will allow food trucks on site, and determine a budget. At that point, you'll be ready to reach out to our sales team for further information.

We chose three trucks for our guests, which gave us an incredible menu with so many options and something for everyone. Everyone loved the food, and any line that formed simply gave people time to talk and enjoy each other. We had so many happy guests.
We chose Dochos Latin Bistro, Breaking Bread BBQ, and Say Cheese, and everything was delicious. My only regret is not going back for seconds. I would recommend them to anyone wanting great food and the calm confidence of knowing their food service will run smoothly and taste amazing.

stomer service and coordination team were outstanding: so helpful, accommodating, and on top of every detail.
We planned our casual backyard wedding ourselves, and Kim S., our coordinator, made everything feel so much less overwhelming. She handled all the pre-planning with excitement and ease, answered every question before I could even ask, and made sure the day-of ran perfectly. She even made sure the bride and groom were fed first (a detail we never would have remembered in the moment!).
As stressful as wedding planning can be, having Kim and the Tampa Bay Food Trucks team in our corner made such a difference. I can’t recommend them enough—amazing food, service, and people!

We worked with Kim to coordinate having food trucks at our wedding. Kim was fantastic at walking us through the process, helping solidify the details, and answering our questions. ...
On the day of the wedding, everything was setup as planned and the food was fantastic - I actually had multiple people come up to me and specifically talk about how good the food was (when does that ever happen at a wedding???)! And it WAS actually great as my husband and I made a point to actually eat dinner with everyone else.
When it came time to cut the cake, we realized that we hadn't planned for forks and plates for everyone. Tampa Bay Food Trucks stepped up (when they didn't have to) and covered this mistake for us for free giving us more than enough silverware and plates/bowls to cover us! Our guests were actually able to eat the cake because of them!
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and we are so happy we had them cater our wedding!

ring all the way from Denver (where I live) and Kim made the whole experience so easy and was so genuinely kind and helpful throughout the entire process.
I chose to have 2 trucks: The Fishin’ Chicken and Slider Guys and they were incredible! Oh my gosh, everyone was raving about how hot, fresh and delicious the food was! I personally had the boom boom shrimp tacos and the crab cake slider and I think my eyes may have rolled back in my head after the first bite, holy wow! No one wants basic chicken and veggies at a celebration. Spend your money here and you won’t regret it!!! Recommend 110% wholeheartedly!!

s to have more variety than the usual steak, chicken, and salmon offered at every other wedding. Each truck offered three different meals and a guest could pick one from each truck. The Cubans and empanadas were big hits since many relatives have never had these food items before. The guests loved how all the food was made to order and nothing was old or overcooked like at other weddings. My cousin has allergies and the food trucks were able to provide a list of what food he was able to eat.

ted something different than the traditional wedding food and cake, plus we were limited on space in the reception building so catering was not an option. We used Tampa Bay Food Trucks to secure a Mexican food truck and bubble waffle truck, and I'm so glad we did!! Kim was extremely helpful every step of the way! She helped us decide which trucks to choose based on our particular requests, and she even did an on-site visit ahead of time to check on parking logistics. She was on-site during our reception to make sure things were running smoothly, and helped us pivot when the weather caused us some delay. Kim is VERY organized, professional, and fun to work with! Our guests commented on how delicious the food was as well as how friendly the food truck servers were. We were very pleased with the whole process!! We would definitely recommend using TBFT for any event!!

Their food truck selection is overwheleming! So many to choose from! We eneded up picking 2 trucks/cuisines and they were a smash hit! Months later people are still talking about the fresh yummy food and the experience. I highly recommend TBFT for your event.

hile helping to tailor the Food Truck Menus really made it enjoyable to work with her. The 3 Trucks - St. Pete Taco Lady; Pamz Pizza Conez; and Top Nosh Street Food had everything from Tacos to Pizza to Lobster Rolls to ensure all dietary needs of our guests. All our guests loved the food and unique experience of having food trucks at the wedding. If you're thinking of doing something unique and fun for dinner. I highly recommend using TBFT!

h TBFT after the amazing Kim asked a few questions to narrow the search down for the perfect food trucks for us. We had a few things in mind, and wanted certain options. Kim took the time to research her food trucks and was able to give me options of the trucks as well as sample menu options. We combed through it all, and came up with two amazing options. We were thrilled and our guests LOVED the food trucks with so many options. I would highly recommend using TBFT when you aren't sure were to start or what you might want exactly.

rucks (Smokin Bowls and Slider Guys) for our 180 person wedding. Our guests absolutely loved the hot food and the whole vibe of going out to a food truck to order. There were no long waits and guests could get a 1/2 portion from each truck. Each truck had 3 meal options for our guests to choose from (that we pre chose) and they even catered our appetizers during cocktail hour.

joy. She was professional, reliable, and was always five step ahead of me. She was so incredibly easy to work with and the service she provided was perfect. Thank you so much Kim, TBFT, Breaking Bad BBQ, and St Pete Taco Lady for the incredible service you provided! Highly recommend booking them for your event!!

Working with Tampa Bay Food Trucks, you get the pleasure of separating your food tastings into a few different evenings. Now bear with me - I know this sounds a little tedious on first glance. At least this was how I felt at first. I was hoping I could maybe get all tastings done in one swoop and move on. Doing them all on different evenings had me and my now husband slow down, enjoy the food and really craft a perfect menu with Kim's expertise. We personally asked her for her expertise so she gave it all, but she also mentioned this depends on the couple, and she gives as much as people will ask her for.
We heard from our guests all evening that while it was a unique idea, it was as professional if not more than any catering company they'd seen at a wedding, and MUCH tastier. Far above the bar they were expecting. The working with half servings allowed our guests to try a little bit of everything, and the aesthetic provided exactly what we wanted - a black tie event that allowed people to still breathe.
I could go forever, and still not say enough of what I loved about working with this team. Please do yourself a favor - just do it. (And if you really trust my judgement, work with Miso Lucky and get the tofu tacos. Every. Single. Time.)
Breathe - and enjoy the journey. It's over before you know it.

the highlight of the reception. Kim is amazing and will take the time to figure out what you really want, match you with the right food vendors. and it is seemless from there. 10 STARS!!

illing to make a special "mac and cheese" meal. She also worked really hard to honor our wishes of finding women-owned businesses AS WELL as making sure we had vegetarian options for our family and friends.
The food itself was fantastic - I can't recommend The St. Pete Taco Lady and The Slider Guys enough. They were prompt to arrive and set up, the food was delicious, and our guests LOVED that the meal wasn't a traditional, plated, sit-down affair.
If you're thinking of doing something outside of the box, I highly recommend using TBFT.

ns and the trucks were so delicious the hardest part was narrowing down the menu. Everyone loved the idea of going to eat whenever they wanted. The kids had some much fun going up to Kebablicious truck and eating all the French fries. The other truck used was Dos Lochos and I'm not kidding you that people still bring up the experience they had. They were patient with our many many chanes due to COVID and also changed up to make a bunch of take out boxes to be brought out to all the boats in attendance. This wedding was a success because of their excellent customer service in making our wedding dreams come true. I can't wait to use this company again.

t put into words how amazing the food was. The entire planning process was stress-free, which is huge when you’re planning a wedding! Megan was amazing to work with. She was always immediately available to answer any questions we had and coordinated everything with the trucks so that the entire process was smooth. On the day of the wedding, the trucks were punctual and the service was great. We are so happy we had TBFTR at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone who wants to change things up from the traditional plated meal!

wedding, we really struggled to find something outside of the typical beef/chicken/fish options and wanted food that was delicious and freshly prepared. TBFTs was our perfect solution. We had 3 different trucks at our wedding, each with 3 entrée options (so 9 options total!) Guests were called to the trucks table by table, first selecting one entrée option. Once everyone was served, they then got to go to any truck they wanted as many times as they wanted. They were also able to provide appetizers for the cocktail hour and had staff to clean up after guests during cocktail hour and the ceremony. They were also incredibly affordable. Many other options we explored didn't come close to providing this level of service with this many options for the price. Kim Sanders helped coordinate everything for us and went above and beyond to walk us through the entire process and ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The day of our wedding was flawless and our guests raved about how incredible the food trucks were. I would recommend TBFT to anyone looking for catering options, not only for their wedding, but for any event. They made our wedding so incredibly special and we cannot thank them enough.
