We began the process about 6 months out from my wedding and continued a relationship of professionalism and craftsmanship. The product was a beautiful tailored dress that not only fit but was completely transformed to be what I had asked for. Carla redid the neckline, the back of the dress, removed the sleeves, hemmed the dress, added a bustle and so much more. As a cherry on top she fixed a hole I had made by snagging the dress at the end of the night. Seriously could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish I am so grateful for tailor love.

outique that I bought my dress from. I sent Carla photos of my dress from with website and she gave me an upfront cost about price. I think I had 3 or 4 different fittings which is pretty standard. The first few times I tried my dress on, I was worried I made the wrong choice with my dress. I bought a strapless beaded dress which was nearly the opposite of what I wanted. I was very worried because I am not a busty bride but OMG, by the end my dress fit like it was made with me. Carla puts some much love and energy into her dresses. She is extremely passionate and despite thinking that I was going to need to get a second dress, by the end I believed that I was supposed to wear this dress on my wedding day. The fit was perfect for me and showed off my athletic figure. During my last fitting before picking up my dress, she had champagne and chocolate ready so I could surprise my brother-in-law. She also altered my getting ready outfit for my wedding day which was 2-3 sizes too big. Carla of course, worked her magic and made it fit nicely. My dress was perfect and held up throughout my whole wedding. Wearing a strapless dress, I was worried I was going to have to keep pulling it up , but it fit like a glove and never moved. reat suggestions. My dress had so many layers to it and was worries to find someone that I trusted to do a great job with it and Carla was amazing. She kept me updated throughout the process and we met with enough meetings and time to get my dress perfect. She also did my maid of honor and flower girl dress and she nailed both as well. So glad to have used Tailor Love and will continue to use them for all my tailoring needs!

with for the reception. Carla tailored my wedding dress to the perfect length and it fit like a glove - but was still comfortable to move around in. I hate bustles and she had a fantastic idea to add loops to my train so it would drape over my arm comfortably. It was perfect, I love it so much and got so many compliments for it. She was so professional, always on time, easy to communicate with, and such a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend Carla enough. She even gave me the extra fabric so I can make something with it! Carla is the best and I highly recommend her for your wedding dress alterations!

designer (Made With Love) in the past. Every single alterations session that I had was wonderful! She was so comforting and kind, and really listened to my needs/wants. I was really nervous going in for alterations since the dress has so much intricate detail, but she kept the integrity of the lace and every small detail perfectly while altering it to fit me! She is really a genius in terms of problem-solving - I didn't like the color of the included bra cups so she changed these out for me, and I also didn't like how much the bra cups were showing underneath the lace, so she moved some lace around in this area to better hide the cups and the results were exactly what I was hoping for! She offered me many different bustle options and walked me through each one (along with sending me pictures after the appointment!) and she really created the most beautiful bustle style that I had never seen before! She also had me record a detailed video of how to put the train into the bustle so that my maid of honor would have a video to reference with step-by-step instructions for the wedding day. She also dealt with my anxiety dealing up to the wedding day LOL - after one alterations appointment, I started getting too into my head about if I had tightened the straps too much, and I texted her asking if we could settle somewhere in between instead, and she was so kind and understanding and did exactly as I wished. She really is just so kind and thoughtful and I absolutely adored my experience working with her! Her communication throughout the process was so appreciated (she always texts reminders about appointments, etc.) and I felt that I was in very good hands. The dress fit me absolutely perfectly (while she also made sure I could sit and move easily!) and I could not have been happier!
