About this vendor
Permanently closed as of end of 2022 season. On to our next adventure!
Tail and Toppings is a vintage 1971 pony trailer transformed into a very unique sundae shop! This style up-cycled food truck is very popular in the UK and only a handful exist in the US. It's vintage sophistication is perfect for nearly any occasion and is promised to turn heads at your wedding! Also available for bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.
The trailer was carefully designed, keeping both function and style in mind. The “team” includes myself (Alyssa) and my husband (Alex). Together we have quite literally built this business from the ground up. This little trailer has allowed me to combine all my passions: horses, weddings, design, ice cream, and of course, making people smile! I encourage you to visit our Facebook and Instagram to see our journey.
For weddings, we set up with our full menu including 6 ice cream flavors, endless toppings, and even a signature sundae created by the couple. NEW for 2021, we have a secondary unit that will allow us to go inside venues (limited menu only). Our services can be used for any part of your wedding day: cocktail hour, dessert, or late-night snack. Once a service time is determined, we arrive 30 minutes prior to set up and decorate the trailer. Guests come right up to the trailer and order from the window just as they would at any ice cream shop. Length of service times is anywhere from 1.5-2 hours dependent on guest count.

This was such a unique idea for dessert at our wedding! When Tail & Toppings served from their ice cream truck at my brother’s summer wedding, I knew we had to book them for ours. ...
We chose to go with their ice cream cart as we were married in November. They had a wide variety of toppings, sauces and we even created our own signature sundae which was such a cute idea. Their communication leading up to the big day was impeccable. This was such a hit at the wedding and the ice cream was absolutely delicious!

wedding that most people wouldn't be able to get. Alyssa was very responsive and helped us create, "The Bernard," a sundae inspired by our CAT! What more could you ask for than ice cream!?

rfect for our venue, and looked so cute and tied in with our venue decor! The ice cream was a huge hit with our guests. My husband and I were so busy greeting guests and dancing the night away that we never actually made it to the ice cream cart, so one of the T&T staff members brought us sundaes on the dance floor! So awesome! Can’t recommend Tail and Toppings enough!

everyone at the wedding lined up to get some. Not only was the presentation great, but the ice cream was really delicious too! Alyssa was wonderful and took care of everything. Our guests are still talking about how awesome of an addition it was to the night. We even got some of our favorite pictures in front of the trailer! This is a really unique touch to add to any event that people will be talking about for a long time after. I highly recommend Tail & Toppings!! You won't be disappointed!

k it was like seeing an oasis in the desert. Before even making an announcement, the crowd must have smelled the sweet aroma of fresh delicious ice-cream and were drawn to the truck like bees to honey. Alyssa worked with us through every step and helped us design our signature sundae, “The Princess Buttercup” which was nothing short of amazing. If you’re considering having ice-cream at ANY event, do yourself a favor and hire Alyssa, you will not be disappointed.
