Ms. Rosie demonstrated outstanding professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. She listened to our vision, offered expert guidance, and made us feel valued every step of the way. Our wedding cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and we could not have been more pleased! The care, dedication, and expertise Ms. Rosie brought to our special day truly exceeded our expectations.

And last, but certainly not least, let’s talk about the cake flavors! All of them were awesome. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Our favorites were the Butter Vanilla and Mandarin Chai, each offering something special. The Butter Vanilla was moist and buttery, with a smooth, classic vanilla flavor that melted in your mouth. The Mandarin Chai was simply divine! What made the Mandarin Chai cake even more meaningful was learning that it was Ms. Rosie's grandmother's favorite, adding a personal touch of family tradition to her creation. Our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed both flavors, and the cakes were a wonderful part of our celebration. In fact, writing this review makes me wish I had a slice of each right now! Ms. Rosie, thank you for sharing your talent and a little piece of your family's Jamaican legacy with us. Sweet Family Secrets truly lives up to its name!

The entire experience from start to finish was very professional, beginning with a preliminary call, followed by a take-home tasting box, and ending with a design meeting where she gave us a full presentation of curated designs tailored specifically to our vision.
While all of their cake flavors were amazing, we ended up choosing their Mandarin Chi as well as their traditional Jamaican Black Cake. The cake they created was both beautiful and delicious! Sweet Family Secrets is a company that clearly cares about its customers just as much as it cares about its product, and I would recommend them to anyone needing a baker for a wedding or special event.

From the start, Rosie told me that she prioritized the "joy" of the wedding cake planning process, saying, "Weddings are stressful - the cake shouldn't be." And wow, she sure lived up that! She is just as warm & personable as she is professional, and this was very important me. She listened so attentively to what I liked and didn't like, and she never pressured me. She clearly and concisely told me what her services could provide, and her communication and updates were thorough and regular (thru text, email and even video chat). She made me feel like a friend through the entire process!
Rosie made me feel very cared for, and never as if I was "just another client". The tasting box was such a wonderful additional service, and I was able to enjoy all the cake flavors her business offers with my husband and our Moms!! So special!!
She had our food-safe wedding cake topper designed, and it was PERFECT - we still have it, and we'll be putting it on display in our home!
The guests loved the cake just as much as we did, and I'm so excited to come back to Rosie next year for 1st wedding anniversary cupcakes! 🥰

ils then. She continued to keep me updated on anything that came up on her end. The bride had picked out a topper that Rosie had to use her magic to make work - She did! And our bride wouldn't even had noticed it wasn't what they originally had talked about if I didn't point it out. The cake itself was beautiful and fit the theme of the day perfectly. Chai mandarin orange cake with salted carmel was a huge crowd pleaser. Outside of the unique flavor, it was so moist and decadent!
I was also in charge of cutting the two tier, double barrel cake. Rosie left step by step instructions along with a diagram on how to cut each cake. Even if you have never cut a cake before, Rosie literally makes it so that you can't fail so long as you take your time and give yourself plenty of room!
I would recommend this lovely lady and her right hand mother to anyone in the area. You are making the wrong choice if you don't use Rosie
