Elaine was great. I made the mistake of waiting 2 weeks before my wedding to get a cake and I was looking for a special design. I thought I was in trouble. Then I reached out to El...
aine and she said she could help. The day of the wedding our cake arrived more delicious and true to our vision then we could have dreamed of. Please support this local saint

n her responses. Her professionalism, cake baking skills and super friendly personality made me confident in my decision to choose her to bake our wedding cake. All the flavors in her wedding sampler box were so good, that I ended up having her make a birthday cake and a graduation cake before our wedding even took place! I am so happy that we found Elaine to make such a wonderful work of art for our wedding day and I can't wait to have her make another cake for our next special occasion!

y Elaine's ability to make every detail truly unique and reflective to the couple's love story. The bride ordered almond and raspberry buttercream which was the Groom's favorite and nothing short of delicious! For a cake of this size we served approximately 50 slices. I would highly recommend Sweet and Shiny for your next birthday, wedding or special event.

us. The cake looked so stunning and we received so many compliments on the look and taste. We were able to customize the tiers to specific flavors. We truly couldn’t be more grateful for Elaine.
I need to give Elaine all the praise and respect she deserves in this review. I called the bakery at 9:06 am, as I thought I had ordered our cake months ago but had not heard anyth...
ing about it since my initial inquiry. On the phone, Elaine informed me that I had not actually submitted the order. My heart instantly sank into my stomach and I came up with a mental back-up plan to have an in-law or cousin drive to a grocery store to get a cake. After all, it’s just dessert!
However, Elaine and her husband saved the day by taking my wedding cake order THE DAY OF THE WEDDING and making a GORGEOUS cake. It was even larger than the cake I originally tried to order and it was ready by 11:00 am (meaning they made a freaking wedding cake in TWO HOURS)!
Yes, there was a rush fee. Yes, they deserve an enormous tip. Yes, it was gorgeous and delicious!!

terest and asked if she would be able to do a custom flavor, which she was happy to do. We tried a few different flavors and loved them all. She was able to come up with something very unique to us that we got so many compliments on, and it ended up looking like it came straight out of a magazine - it was so gorgeous!! She was able to deliver our 3-tier cake and truffles, which arrived in perfect condition right on time. I cannot recommend Sweet & Shiny enough for your big day!!

of flavors and combinations that are all so delicious. For our wedding we ordered a cupcake tower with a couple's cake on top. The couple's cake was pina colada flavor and matched my wedding dress. It still taste fresh a year later on our anniversary. We ordered Mexican Chocolate, Coconut, Chocolate, and Vanilla as our cupcake flavors for our guests. It's rare to find a place that makes such beautiful artwork yet taste so fresh and delicious.
