We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Swan River and it was one of my favorite parts of our wedding weekend!! We met with Marita a year ago to see the restaurant and after speaking with her for about 5 minutes we booked it on the spot! She was so welcoming and accommodating I had zero worries about our event! She set us up in the main bar area and the dining room directly off of the bar. Great with communication and she reached out a couple weeks before the day to finalize counts and food choices. The day of, she let us come in early with our decor to set up and was there to help. The night of, we arrived and the food was delicious, staff was great, and timing of the rest of the dinner was fantastic. I think they had another rehearsal dinner going on in another part of the restaurant, but I didn't even notice because we had great service and the set up of the restaurant was perfect. Also have to mention that the view is beautiful. When we shifted into our welcome drinks, we had about 120 people roll in. Everyone had a blast and the staff handled it with ease. Would highly recommend for any event and I am looking forward to going back for dinner during our future Cape visits!! Thank you!!

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks here for our wedding in June. Since we were getting married at the Lighthouse Inn down the street, Swan River could not have been a more convenient location. Marita was very accommodating and set up their outside deck for us for a private dinner and allowed us to use the bar space after. The views were amazing from the deck, the staff was great, and the food was good. They offer a pre-fixed three course meal which made planning easy. Would highly recommend for any special occasion.

Depending on your preferences, they can serve dishes as a buffet, a plated dinner, or family-style. You also have the option to use their fully-stocked bar as a cash, limited, or open bar for your event.

ite beer and wine, and giving us access to outside the restaurant. (Which was really the draw for us, they really have an exceptional view of the Bass River!) Of course, Swan River is a working restaurant in a very touristy area, so it could be difficult to get a hold of them during the summer. However, if you are a laid back couple that loves all things Cape Cod (especially the food--the chowder and oysters were amazing), this could be the venue for you!

The food was delicious; with multiple options for stationary apps, passed hor'dourves and entrees at a value I couldn't believe. The interior space is excellent, and the views outside were breath taking. I would highly recommend Swan River for any event.

charm (so as a bride I didn't need to provide many additional decorations which was great)! The food was also delish, we especially received compliments from friends on the honey almond cod. up of us (120+ !) The view is stunning and like nothing else you will find on Cape Cod. The food was also out of this world! We had clambakes and the lobsters were raved about endlessly. They were also incredibly accommodating with our guests who had any dietary restrictions. We were able to use the deck through out the night for pictures, cocktails and mingling. Marita, the owner, is beyond amazing. She was so kind to us and incredibly detail oriented. You can tell instantly she cares so much about making everything memorable for the bride, groom and their loved ones. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Our rehearsal was raved about just as much as our wedding!! We can't thank them enough for kicking off our wedding weekend perfectly.

d here this past weekend and we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Don't be fooled by the casual interior/exterior as it transforms into an elegant reception site. They offer a full bar, many different meal options, vegetarian & vegan options. Many of our guests commented on how great the food was. To name a few.. the little necks on half shell, Chicken teriyaki skewer, Scallops wrapped in bacon, Prime Rib & Cod. The owner Marita was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The waitstaff & bartenders were friendly and professional and looked like they truly enjoyed working there. We are so grateful to Marita and the staff for making our day absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for anything more.

ore casual but still great food and service that encompasses Cape Cod and we found it! The food was great and everyone received tons of food. I worked with Marita thru email and she was fantastic. She was so flexible with the arrival time and decorations. She even let us pick our own linens and was willing to even help with decorations. I was allowed to arrive early to set up decorations and service was on point all night from the bartenders to the waiters. By the way, did I say the price was extremely reasonable too! This place is great...thank you again for giving us the best rehearsal dinner!
