Suzuran Photography

meline and shot list with us to make sure it felt comfortable. The day of they made us feel so at ease and captured so many amazing memories with a special and creative eye. We cannot recommend them enough!

down to a science. They're so professional and I really enjoyed their energy on the day of, they're calm and fun and we appreciated that. They're the best, absolutely hire them!

ich is what we asked for. They are very professional, timely, and are great to work with. We talked about shots that were important to us and the style that we were interested in and created a perfect wedding portfolio for us!

lking about how great they were to have on our wedding day! And our engagement photos were sublime. They are both so easy to be around and made us feel so comfortable. Best decision ever!

y was so fun and interesting as we were able to watch their creative minds at work. We haven’t even received our photos yet, but the few teaser shots we’ve seen have absolutely blown us away. We are beyond thrilled we selected them as our wedding photographers and would happily book them for future events. Also, they both have the most kind and calming demeanor — exactly what we needed on our big day! Cannot recommend them enough.

o wonderful to have on the day of the wedding. They not only were our photographers on the wedding day, but helped coordinate, facilitate, calm us down when needed, and overall were beyond helpful. They stepped up and helped wherever needed throughout the day, and their calm demeanors were so comforting. They also helped sneak us away so that we had some time alone. Overall, they felt like friends who we got to spend the day with, which is so comforting since my husband and I are a little camera shy. They are also beyond talented. We were blown away by how gorgeous our engagement photos were and know our wedding photos will be absolutely gorgeous! They have such an eye, it truly is an art. We will certainly be using them for any photography in the future and would 10000% recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer! They are simply THE BEST! thank you Suzanne and Dan!

n following Suzanne and Dan’s Instagram (@suzuranphotography) on Instagram for quite a while, and when it came time to select our photographer, the choice to go with them was easy. Not only did we love the aesthetic of their photography, but we loved the ways they captured small, intimate moments. When we had our engagement session with Suzanne, it was very clear that her easy-going personality was exactly what we had hoped for. She knew all the creative spots and made us feel comfortable along the way. Oh! And she’s great with dogs too! Our doggo Annie had to make an appearance for some of the pictures. Suzanne was always in touch with us and extremely accommodating. When we had to cancel our large reception to a small intimate, outdoor wedding during the pandemic, they were very understanding and took extra caution when at the reception. And over a year later, they were back with us for a large wedding reception at the Union Club of Cleveland. We wanted a photographer that was not just a business transaction, but someone we could get to know. Suzanne and Dan get to know each couple as friends, which is a really rare experience. For every step of the way, Suzuran Photography captured the most beautiful, timeless moments, and we could not be happier to have them as our photographers and friends.

like we had known them for years! My husband and I could not have asked for a more flexible and patient team to shoot our wedding day. The sneak peak of photos we have received so far, blew us away! The easiest and best decision we made.

mething I couldn’t have imagined. They are the best of the best and took notice of every detail, Never missed a moment of our day, and never made us do the typical cheesy bride and groom photos. Everything they did was unique, and truly magic. They were helpful in keeping the day on time and coordinating first look times, enough time to take photos that day, and anything else inbetween. Highly recommend for any life event.

I wanted to focus more on documenting the day instead of lots of group photos and thats exactly what we got. They captured sweet expressions on loved ones faces and caught all the moments that went by in such a blur on our wedding day. We ended up with photos we will treasure forever. Can't recommend them enough!

ted. We did the engagement shoot and were so happy we did! The photos were incredible and we used those for our save the dates. The day of photos were easy going and so calm! As a pair, these two make your wedding smooth and fun. They worked with us and our families, accommodated mobility restrictions, and were so creative. Imagine a perfect timeline, customized photo session, none of the smile and laugh and walk photos, and you've got Suzuran. I wish I lived in Cleveland so I could be friends with them :)

n that, for us, felt totally foreign. By the end of the day, we were relaxed and laughing which is exactly what was captured in our photos. I was floored by how sweetly she captured these small, micro-moments of us looking at one another or turning a certain way. On our wedding day, we were both completely at ease. Dan joined my husband and the guys in their suite for the morning and Suzanne took the time to photograph all of my small wedding details while I was getting ready so i didn't feel rushed or like I had to pose the second she walked in - it was so relaxed! She and Dan coordinated perfectly for our first look and found the most magical little park near our hotel where we could exchange our vows in private. It was so special and I never felt like they were hovering or forcing a moment. It made our day feel incredibly intimate despite being followed around by 2 cameras the whole time! The most remarkable thing was how prepared they were for a rainy day that took the rest of us by surprise. They had clear umbrellas on hand, backup shooting locations and ideas for us, and were super focused on making sure they got the shot while keeping me dry and my dress white, despite the puddles. We absolutely love Suzanne and Dan - having them document our wedding felt so warm and joyful; I can't imagine having chosen anyone else!

gh it was in the middle of November, Dan was incredible! We moved to different locations around the Cleveland area, including Townhall, where some of our favorite photos were taken! We got married in Chagrin Falls and the pictures exceeded our expectations. Suzanne spent the day with the ladies and Dan with the guys - everyone had such a good time and the photos are beautiful! Your wedding is the best day of your life and I would highly recommend Suzuran to capture that day with the most breathtaking photos!

hrough their documentary style, they capture beautiful, intimate moments naturally. Their diverse backgrounds and style make them easy to work with. We would absolutely recommend them!

nds and family alike about how awesome Suzanne and Dan are! Not only that, hanging out with them was a BLAST! I am beyond thrilled that we were lucky enough to work with them, they captured our day perfectly!

ented but a true joy to be around and have present on your wedding day. They are calm and patient and clearly professionals as they worked our wedding seamlessly, even helping with little details along the way. Suzuran fangirls for life over here!

are the sweetest people, make you feel super comfortable (which is really important when you're kissing someone and getting your picture taken at the same time!), and their work is absolutely stunning. We've only gotten a peek at our wedding photos and CANT WAIT. Suzanne and Dan also set up an engagement photo session when they were in our area, which was unbelievably accommodating and kind.

kind, and efficient, creative and accommodating. We will definitely be using them again for all of our photography needs!

en we started wedding planning and began looking at vendors, the very first decision we made was that we absolutely had to work with them. We literally scheduled our wedding day around their availability and met with Suzanne before we did anything else. On our big day, Suzanne & Dan were the most calming, loving, wondrous presence we could've ever imagined. The time we spent with them was just magical: we could just be ourselves, bask in the day, laugh, and know that they were taking the most beautiful, ethereal, and real wedding photos we have ever seen. They cried and laughed along with us and our guests all day, and we had an absolute blast with them. I can't wait to see all of the incredible moments they captured and I know we will cherish our wedding photos for the rest of our lives. We will follow them anywhere to ensure that they and only they capture every important moment in our lives from now on!

ey understand my husband's and my aesthetic but they excelled at furthering our concepts and contributed many ideas that we would never have conceived. They shot both our engagement and wedding photos and made us look like rockstars each time. The photographs are beautifully composed; I can't get over how many emotional nuances and setting details they captured in both sessions. Technical and artistic talent aside, Suzanne and Dan are amazing people to be around. Their humor and charm makes you feel at ease. I wish I lived in Cleveland so I could've taken them up on their offer to see their studio. I will hopefully have other opportunities to work with them on future photo sessions, but in the meantime would highly recommend them to anyone who is seriously willing to invest in photography for his or her wedding.

throughout the day and Suzanne and Dan were able to do just that. I'm so lucky to walk away from our wedding having met these two special people.

nd Dan are so incredibly talented, patient, and beautiful people. Choosing them as my wedding photographer was the best wedding decision I made. They capture the beauty of the day in the most artistic and elegant way. Random people and acquaintances messaged me SEVERAL times asking, "WHO WAS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER?! THE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING" and "My brother/sister/mom/aunt/cousin are getting married and wanted me to ask who photographed your wedding?" Every single time, I write back with a paragraph about how they need to go with Suzuran Photography. They are too good and I was too lucky to have them.

he personal attention, and professional service we received from Suzanne and Dan throughout every step of the process. They are full of expert advice, but very attentive to your ideas and priorities. I am confident that they captured all of the special moments from our wedding, they seem to have a knack for being everywhere at once. We were completely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend Suzuran to anyone seeking a wedding photographer with a unique point of view!

them again and would recommend to anyone. They have a couple of different packages to suit many different needs. Suzanne was always prompt to reply to emails and was even early on my wedding day. I cannot say enough positive things about them.

urate amazing, creative shots that come off more as pieces of art than simply posed photos. You won't look back at these in 20 years and think they look cheesy or dated. We love how everything turned out and, above that, working with them was incredibly easy and fun. Several of our friends have worked with Suzuran, too, and we've all loved our experiences. Highly recommend!!

t! It was so fun looking through all the prints the day after the wedding!

f shooting, when you look at their photos you feel like you stepped into that moment. We were very excited to have them capture our wedding day, which I think they completely exceed our expectations. I highly recommend them for anyone that is looking for beautiful photographs of their wedding.

Their work is magical and perfect for couples who prefer natural, vintage, and artistic photos. It truly does not get any better than Suzuran!

ch amazing images... I am over the moon with our engagement photos and can't wait to see what my wedding will look like! Amazing photographers and just generally cool people, and affordable prices to boot. Book them. Seriously.

lare. Suzanne and Dan were awesome to work with. My mind was totally at ease with how the photos would turn out.
