Cake was delicious but the lack of communication and organization wasn’t there. My husband and I didn’t think we were going to have a cake the week before our wedding because she w...
ouldn’t respond through email, calls, texts and facebook messaging. If you want a stress free wedding planning process don’t go with Susan’s Sugar and Spice.
Susan made the most delicious wedding cake For my now husband and I! We got her signature flavor, which was simply and perfectly decorated. Our guests literally RAVED about our ca...
ke. I had multiple guests tell me they went for a second or third slice! Would DEFINITELY recommend!
We did a small main cake and then cupcakes for our wedding. We enjoyed so many flavors this helped us enjoy them all. There was absolutely no leftovers and everyone raves about the...

Went to a bridal show yesterday at the IX center in Cleveland Ohio and we came across a lot of bakery’s and “Susan” said “all things must go! I don’t want to take anything home wit...
h me!” She gave me a free sample because I was the bride however she refused one to my fiancé. The cupcakes were bite sized so it’s not like we could really share them it was more of a sampler box for one person hence why we asked for a second one for my fiancé which then she immediately refused… just saying if you want Business sometimes you need to give out a few freebies every now and then. And Susan‘s sugar and spice is a piss poor business practice. Definitely will NOT be considering for any wedding events. No snobby vendors for me thanks!
My original wedding date was 12/12/20, we booked in February. Due to covid, we postponed the wedding until 8/21/21.. she agreed to the date change and confirmed via email. Over sev...
eral months we contacted Susan by phone and email with no response. Finally, a family member reached out via a business email and she responded right away that she has just been bombarded and agreed to refund me. This all happened within a month of my wedding, if it weren't for my family I probably wouldn't have had a cake at my wedding. On top of that, the refund was requested in the beginning of July and never received it. Finally after a month the refund came after another email was sent. I cannot recommend at all.
If I could have given her zero stars, I would have. Two weeks before our wedding, I email Susan to see if she can do a groom's cake. I wasn't getting any emails back and she wasn...
't answering calls. I went to her website to see if I had the right number. She wrote on her website (without telling us) that she had gone out of business. Do not trust this vendor.
Susan's cake was beyond delicious.
The pricing was straightforward, no weird extras or add-ons. The only thing is you have to keep in mind that it is all buttercream which can li...
mit some designs. I had to rethink what design I wanted, which was completely fine because the cake and frosting was amazing. It was so good my mom even brought an extra cake for breakfast the following day! I am definitely going to keep her in mind next time I need a cake.
Susan has THE BEST cakes I've ever had. She has many flavors of cakes and frosting and will work with you if you want to create your own flavor. The buttercream frosting is wonde...
rful and the cake is so moist! I've ordered many cakes from birthdays, baby shower and wedding shower and didn't think twice about having her make my wedding cake. Everyone loved her cake and it looked beautiful too and fit with my theme!
Our experience with Susan was wonderful. She was so easy to work with. She made a cake that we loved and so did all of our guests. There wasn't a slice left! We can't wait to enjoy...
our top layer on our anniversary!
Susan's cakes are amazing! I am usually not a cake person. I wasn't even going to have cake at my wedding, just a small cutting one. I was going to just have a dessert bar until ...
I tasted Susan's cake at a bridal show. I ended up only serving her cake for dessert. It was so good that we didn't have any left overs to take home :-( She is reasonably priced. Some places charge double of what she charges and Susan's is way better. The only critique I have is that they do not work with fondant (but her frosting is amazing).
I would highly recommend Susan's Sugar & Spice. Susan came to my house to do a cake taste testing and her flavor options were great. My husband and I had a hard time deciding which...
2 flavors to get for our cake. We loved our cake design and the cost was very reasonable. Great service, great price and great tasting cake! So happy we went with Susan's Sugar & Spice for our wedding cake.
