We are here to sing the praises of Sunsphere Events, especially Donna and Danny. Our wedding on the 8th floor of the iconic Knoxville Sunsphere was absolutely gorgeous. It sounds c...
liché, but we could not have asked for a more perfect event. It was stress-free and beautiful. Using their Micro Matrimony package for less than 4 guests, it was extremely affordable and worth every penny. Donna coordinated with her network and handled a photographer (Shanell Bledsoe) and Officiant (Penny Montefusco and Colleen Munyan Pressley) for us as part of the inclusive package. We lack the adjectives to adequately describe the attention to detail in the ceremony area. Breath-taking, and classic. Simple, yet extravagant. If you want a stress-free, gorgeous wedding, then ABSOLUTELY give Sunsphere Events a chance. If it is your wish, all you have to do is show up with clothes, and they do the rest, even providing dressing rooms. I will pass their name along to every newly engaged couple I come across. My wedding was an intimate affair, but they can accommodate 100+. Weddings, parties, corporate events, anything you need an exceptional event space for, Sunsphere Events is perfect. You always hear of “something will go wrong, just roll with it.” For us, nothing went wrong and we will forever be grateful to Donna and Danny with Sunsphere events.
I cannot recommend Sunsphere Events enough! I got married here in June 2020 (yes, a challenging time for a wedding). Donna and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, both lea...
ding up to the big day and during the wedding. Such an iconic place to get married, it was truly beautiful! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!
Perfect setup for a wedding reception with a beautiful view! We had about 150-175 total attendees with plenty of room for a dinner buffet, drinks, and dancing. There was a little...
bit of an issue using their speaker system; however, we were given an hour free to makeup for the 30mins of no music.
We loved our wedding at The Sunsphere. Panoramic views of downtown were fabulous. It was an awesome experience for all our guests. We had both our ceremony and reception there. The...
room flip was seamless. An issue is there is not a good space for bridal party during the event. The staff there is good. Sara is a little slow to respond to emails. The only thing I would highly suggest is to make sure George (the person who will be there the day of) is at your rehearsal to understand the flow you want.
My hubby and I reserved The Sunsphere for our reception before we had even decided where to get married! We loved the idea of downtown Knoxville as the "background" for our recepti...
on. The view is amazing, and really saves on the amount of decorating you need for the reception. The entire event team was so helpful and accommodating. I would recommend the venue to anyone whether for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, class reunion or business party. It was a fantastic time!
