Sun & Sea Beach Weddings

or everything they did for me. From day of coordinating, florals, photography and so much more, I was the least stressed bride. They made mine and my husband’s experience magical. I truly recommend them. There was nothing I would change about our magical day!!!

ost beautiful beach wedding and Sun and Sea Beach weddings made it so I did not have to stress about a single thing.

y and our special day was absolutely perfect!!!!!

day. They truly took the stress out of wedding planning. I would recommend this team to anyone!

lanner, Vicky, kept in constant contact with us. In the beginning, the response times were longer but I think appropriate given the amount of time we had before the wedding. As the wedding drew nearer, our calls would increase in frequency. She always answered all of our questions and made time to ensure we were clear on everything. The only thing I wished was different was the 5 hour maximum on your event. Our ceremony started at 3:30 and our reception had to be over by 8:30. Our wedding day was a blink of an eye so I really wished we could have gone to the 10 PM latest end time. That part of the contract didn't make total sense to me. However, the decor was beautiful and they listen to what you want to execute on your vision. The team also helped us setup some of our own decor when they found out our own coordinator didn't show up on the day with her team to help with our setup and breakdown. That was above and beyond. We loved the way the wedding turned out and I would recommend Sun & Sea based on our experience.

onal, kind, and incredibly organized. He took care of every detail, the setup was beautiful, the communication was excellent, and they made everything feel so effortless and stress-free. The location was breathtaking, and the ceremony setup looked even better than we imagined. I chose one of their succulent bouquets, and it was stunning! They had it ready and waiting for me when we arrived. I am also confident our photos will turn out stunning, our photographer was thee best and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical day. If you’re dreaming of a beach wedding that’s simple, elegant, and truly unforgettable, Sun and Sea Weddings is the way to go. We’re forever grateful for how they helped bring our vision to life!

te destination dream became a seamless, soulful experience. Stephen’s communication, calm presence, and attention to detail were unmatched. From coordinating every little detail to bringing together the violinist and photographer, he ensured every moment flowed beautifully. Because of him, we were free to focus on what truly mattered — our vows, our faith, and our forever. The value of what Stephen and his team provided was worth every penny — you can’t put a price on peace, presence, and memories like that. If you’re dreaming of a stress-free, heart-filled wedding day on the Georgia coast, look no further. Sun and Sea Weddings delivers more than a ceremony — they create a memory that lingers long after the tide rolls out.

itant when we booked our wedding on relatively short notice and without seeing the venue but the weekend, the ceremony, the venue, the team, everything was perfect. The venue (home and reception hall) is located just across the street from scenic Vilano beach and is a short walk to The Reef restaurant. The home is a beautiful 3 story house that sleeps 12 spaciously. Each floor was complemented with its own balcony, but the ‘pièce de résistance’ is the rooftop patio that blesses you with miles of beach views, cool ocean breeze and your own Spanish castle. Our wedding coordinator Josie and venue host Nick were communicative from the initial booking. Everything was included with the exception of catering and bar which significantly eased the planning process. Josie listened to all our requests and made sure to incorporate them seamlessly into our day – she didn’t miss a detail! I really can’t say enough good things about our wedding coordinator Josie. Even though our first time meeting her in person was on our wedding day, it felt like she’d been our friend forever. Extremely nice and pleasant to be around, Josie not only ensured we had a good time but also controlled the day with utmost professionalism. She made sure we kept our timelines, got the necessary photos and had plenty of time to let loose on the dance floor. She allowed us to truly enjoy our day stress-free. We will be forever grateful to the whole Sun & Sea team for making our day extra special and helping us start forever in the most memorable way possible!

ead of the hassle of planning an entire destination wedding.

irst conversation, they were organized, professional, and truly listened to what we envisioned for our big day. They handled all the logistics—permits, setup, timing, and even backup plans for the weather—with confidence and ease. On the wedding day, everything was beautiful and exactly how we imagined it. The décor was perfect for the beach setting, and the coordination ensured the ceremony flowed without a hitch. They were easy to communicate with, quick to respond to questions, and genuinely cared about making our day special. I felt relaxed and confident knowing they had everything under control. It was such a relief to be able to enjoy the moment and focus on our celebration. I would absolutely recommend this vendor to anyone planning a beach wedding!

s and attentiveness to EVERY SINGLE detail was a 10/10!! I highly recommend Sun & Sea for an all inclusive wedding option that will leave you beyond satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future!!

fect and my coordinator really outdid herself with my floral vision. It was STUNNING! such great people to work with!! We also loved that we could customize our package. We had our own officiant and photographer. So many options for decor, sashes, arbor, etc.

r props to Maddy! I sent her a design I made, and she made it happen! everyone was so lovely and kind. Choosing Sun and Sea was the best choice I've ever made.

permit, etc. There are so many design choices available on their website and you have a planner who works with you each step of the way. Our planner, Josie, was amazing and our wedding was perfect!

ible with online planning, communicative, professional, and genuinely kind. We were especially lucky to have Vicky as our wedding planner—she was fantastic from start to finish. We booked the Celebration House for October 9, 2024, and one of the best parts of the package was having the house for our bridal party to stay with us from October 7-9. The house was stunning—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. As it turned out, Hurricane Milton was heading toward St. Augustine, with the eye projected to hit right at 4 p.m. on October 9 (our ceremony start time—of course!). Vicky called us the Sunday before our wedding and suggested moving the date to Tuesday. She had already created multiple backup plans and coordinated everything, making a last-minute change seem seamless. We hadn’t even thought moving the date would be possible with all the vendors involved, but she handled every detail with grace. Being able to reschedule our wedding a day earlier, with every detail still perfect, was amazing. Vicky, Ben Cross Photography, and the entire Sun & Sea team are some of the hardest-working, most caring people we’ve ever met. Thank you, Sun & Sea Weddings—our wedding day was beyond perfect!

atience and attention to detail gave me the assurance I needed to know that our day was in good hands. We had asked for the Spanish service for our ceremony since all our family was coming in from Puerto Rico and Steven did an incredible job with this as well. Everything went as planned and the decor was just like I wanted it. Our family and guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. I definitely recommend Sun & Sea Weddings, especially Steven and his team (Zach, Vicky & Marie). Thank you so much for working so hard on our big day to make it turn out just as we dreamed it would be!

l away when we decide to change little details to add personal touches. The ceremony was absolute breathtaking and all of his recommendations were a hit with us and our guests! Chalyse was our photographer and is so incredibly talented. When dealing with the windy weather she helped us all look our best and even ran down the beach numerous times chasing my veil. It was a pleasure to have this entire team from Sun & Sea in our corner. Also, I’d like to say for those like me that are a bit controlling of plans, this process went great with trust and communication. There isn’t a thing I would change about our wedding with them. I highly recommend any couple use their services!

and get to the ceremony. I picked the Now & Forever ceremony package with the circular arbor, added some chairs and it was very affordable. Steven was AMAZING, he communicated when he needed, and otherwise took reign and got me everything I had asked for(including a beautiful bouquet). It took maybe 4 phone calls, and my messages on the easy to use online website, and all I had to do was show up day of! Our guests ranted and raved about how beautiful everything was set up and how smoothly it all went. The photographer Marie did a FANTASTIC job! For a couple that's never taken professional photos before she had it all taken care of, from efficiently getting the family photos done, to our couple poses, and any tips and tricks we needed for the pictures to come out absolutely gorgeous. She was flexible even following us to the reception for a few more photos to finish up the requested 1.5 hour. If you want the most perfect beach wedding, choose Sun & Sea! :)

cient. We have nothing but good things to say, and they made our day unforgettable.

ocean at the end. They all made a special wish. Everyone still talks about how wonderful our ceremony was until this day. It truly was the best 🙂

eople! 100000/10 recommend!

to their advertisements. For starters, we selected the Jekyll Island - Holiday Inn package. The actual page header for the package is "All-Inclusive Space at the Holiday Inn Jekyll Island" yet as soon as you purchase the package you are hit with a "$1,000" credit (in actuality they take $1,000 off the price and tell you this is for you to pay for the reception venue at Holiday Inn). 3 weeks before the wedding I call the Jr. wedding planner Maddy (keep in mind I only talked to this lady 4 times ever and in one of those instances after I paid my account balance she tells me she is moving right now and ask if she can give me her full attention the following week...I HAD TO CALL HER 3 WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING. AND SHE TELLS ME SHE IS CURRENTLY MOVING - PLEASE HOLD. After speaking with Maddy the second time every - with less than 20 days until the wedding I was told that the "$1,000" credited to the account was for ME to call the hotel and set up the venue. Get this, call the venue only to be directly passed to their sales team. The entire reception party cost a total of $2,750 without adding the cost to stay in the 3-star hotel charging $300 a night with red smeared lipsticks on the walls, stains in the mattresses, that relied on 2 nightstand lamps and 1 standing lamp to provide lighting for the entire room...so much for getting ready photos, and the $1,000 "credit". After the 3rd call with Maddy, the wedding decorator, I was informed that the $5,500 we paid, the balance for the entire package would only entail 1 hour photography (with a photographer that rushed us into positions faster than we could even turn and remembered to give us constant updates for her time remaining there), 3 hours of DJ service (This guy was awesome Tactical_Chef is his name and he was the only good thing to come from this package), Decorations for the venue that was not included in the original package as advertised on their site (they dropped the decorations off day of about 1 hour before the ceremony. My family from out of town had to set up the $5,000 decorations and missed the entire wedding ceremony), A "wedding planner" (who I had 4 conversations with. The 4th was the night before the wedding when she asked me to complete the reception timeline for the DJ..to which I CALLED HER asking if she was prepared at this point. Thank God the DJ reached out to me 2 weeks prior, and I was able to give him our timeline directly.) The wedding planner sent us coordinates to where the reception was being held 2 weeks before the wedding. On the day of, at the exect start of the ceremony...NO ONE KNEW WHERE TO GO. NOT EVEN ME AS THE BRIDE. I had to call Connor a member of the set-up crew to send me his location so that my husband and I could send it by text to EVERYONE WHO WAS INVITED. The Officiant had a very thick accent, it would have been ambient to the environment being on an Island and all, but she decided to stand behind us...down the isle about 2.5 ft away from us. This result in us constantly asking her to repeat what she said so that we could you know, get married. The website, specifically this page https://sunandseabeachweddings.com/wedding-packages/holiday-inn-jekyll-island/ tells you to "Sit back and Relax" under the reception part, but day of my out of state family had to set up the entire reception, missing my ceremony, we did not know the location of the reception until 2 hours before the wedding began, the event manager from Holiday Inn who this company "works" with did not answer any calls from us on THE DAY OF THE WEDDING...3 HOURS BEFORE THE START TIME, the wedding planner was MIA for the entire planning of this wedding, and the "$1,000" credited to the account was off by about $1,750. The entire experience was a nightmare that I wish to forget. I literally left the ceremony telling everyone that they could go home because what we had already experienced was a complete mess. This was an embarrassment and a complete waste of money.

lutely flawless and went so smooth. We are so thankful for the entire Sun and Sea Wedding team!

ence and the memories. I would definitely recommend going with sun and sea to anyone looking for that special beach wedding. Our team was Steven, Chalyse, Zach, Connor, Jake & DJ Wes. Chalyse did a phenomenal job with our photos and we got them back in less than a week! DJ Wes was the best DJ we could have gotten hands down, he was so chill and took our music playlist and made sure every song we wanted played, was played at the perfect moments. Thanks so much for everything you all did for us! Adria & Chayce Wedding at The Holiday Inn Resort at Jekyll Island GA. 15 June 2024

arly by Marie (photography). If you are a bride who truly does not want to lift a finger, Sun and Sea is for you.

ety. Concerns will not be addressed by planners or owner. They will poorly execute what was agreed upon in your contract, then blame the couple for their inability to set up your wedding. There are lots of places in North Florida that can help you plan the wedding of your dreams and I would steer clear of Sun & Sea.

y questions or concerns we had, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Dan, the photographer, displayed incredible professionalism and dedication throughout our “getting ready” time and our ceremony. His attention to detail and creative eye promise unforgettable photos that we eagerly await. His patience and commitment to capturing every moment ensured our day was documented with care and precision. And Derek, the officiant, brought warmth and sincerity to our ceremony, making it truly special and memorable. His words resonated with us and our guests, adding an extra touch of magic to the occasion. We couldn't have asked for a better team to make our wedding day perfect. Sun & Sea Beach Weddings, thank you for making our dreams come true!

sm and how everything flowed together perfectly. Traffic on the island was an issue, so we were a bit late to the beach, but they did not make us feel rushed at all. The day was spectacular & the bride and groom were over the top at how perfect everything was. Cudo’s to Sun & Sea! Highly recommended. Thank you Steven!

dinator and did a fantastic job guiding us through the whole planning process. He offered great suggestions and the rationales behind them. Our Officiant- Vicky was endearing and helped keep things on track leading up to and through the ceremony. Zach did a wonderful job setting up for the ceremony- it looked stunning. Wes kept the mood fun and rocking out with the music throughout the wedding. Marie was a lifesaver with the photography and offering tips/pointers to my first time Maid of Honor. And last buy certainly not least- Leidy was our day-of reception coordinator. She did a great job keeping everything on track and making sure things ran smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better team- it turned out better than we could have hoped for!

people. We were never out of the loop of what was going on and what was expected and when. She had a schedule all laid out for the wedding day which I appreciated. She texted me the morning of my wedding when it was raining for our outdoor destination beach wedding assuring me we could hold off on starting of the rain was going to be stopping. Luckily at the start of the wedding it was barely sprinkling then stopped but she was reassuring that we would make it work one way or another so I wasn’t stressing. Our photographer Marie with Appleseed Photography was AMAZING and our pictures are beautiful. She had them to us digitally with all printing releases in a very timely manner. Our officiant was Derek and he was also AMAZING! Their laid back but very professional personalities made it easy to relax for photos and the ceremony but still professional enough to keep us in line. I’m glad they were the team selected for our big day even though it was a much smaller scale then they are probably use to, but for a Monday afternoon it was small and perfect to us! I appreciate EVERYTHING they all did for us and if there is a vowel renewal someday I would love to work with them again! I HIGHLY recommend this company.

next to the St. Augustine fort and every part of it was beautiful and perfect. When it comes to reviewing all of the people I worked with I have to begin with the star of the entire event our coordinator Steven Romero, otherwise known as the most amazing and kindest person you will ever work with especially since he takes everything you care about and does whatever he can to make it work into your special day. If something can't work he is honest and lets you know of other options that are just as good and sometimes even better than what you originally wanted. He was extremely helpful the whole way and answered my questions the same day every single time, even when he was on vacation he sent me a message helping me out. Next was our fantastic photographer Marie, she set up a time to call before the wedding so we could get some details sorted beforehand and both go into the day knowing what needed to be done. She was great at working with what little sunlight we had to make sure all of the most important photos were taken care of first. She even came with us on our horse carriage ride to take photos with the Christmas lights and we had a great time with her as her personality was just so friendly and welcoming. Connor and Zach, we only got to meet the day of but they helped to make sure everything was set up and that we moved to our positions at just the right moments. Our DJ Shawn was yet another wonderful person we got to work with, he made the music easy and stress-free, listened to all of our requests, and changed anything we needed just by us simply asking. He brought the best energy to the whole reception and kept our guests dancing and having fun all night. He even called before the wedding so we could talk and hammer out any last-minute details and understand the changes we were having to some of the traditional events that we decided to put a spin on. If I were to do everything over again I would still pick Sun and Sea every time, not just because of the amazing packages and services that were provided but also the people that helped to make our day the most perfect day I could have asked for.

with everything!!! Thank you so very much for making our a wedding day awesome!!!❤️🥰

! I just got to soak in the most beautiful day of my life! She even made sure to check in on us personally throughout the wedding to bring us drinks, snacks, whatever we needed! Thank you Sun and Sea Beach Weddings!

could of imagined. A beach wedding was the dream.. Sun and Sea made that dream become a reality. Colors, flowers and decorations were spot on and so very perfect! The venue was amazing and the beautiful home allowed all of the wedding party to all be in one place and it was an amazing time spent together! Thank you all for making our special occasion so very amazing!

) found sun and sea. The staff were amazing, and so responsive. Steven Romero was the best! He took care of literally everything for me. The day before our wedding, I contacted him because I was so worried about the rain (it had rained everyday at the time the wedding was suppose to be). On such short notice they allowed me to change my wedding time up five hours! Our planner Steven also officiated our wedding, which was awesome, seems he is who I had with me through my entire journey! He did a beautiful job, and it couldn’t have went any better. Everything was exactly how I dreamed it would be and more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you’re thinking of booking, please do it! It’s worth every penny! Can’t wait for the photographers pictures to come back! ♥️

stumbled across Sun and Sea, it seemed like the perfect fit (and it was!). Steven handled all of the planning and I just filled in the gaps. He was communicative, efficient, and ensured that our vision was met. The decor was beautiful and the ceremony was beautifully executed. The DJ and photographer were so friendly and talented. HIGHLY recommend if you're planning a beach wedding on Jekyll.

ering an exceptional experience to our guests and us! This company makes it easy, they make it fun, and they make it affordable. Thank you team for what was the perfect wedding! A team you can trust with such a massive decision.

e house package in Saint Augustine. Vicky and her team were wonderful and they took care of everything and we wouldn’t of changed one thing! Also, shout out to Biscottis for our delicious food and Ben Cross for doing our photos! He was so great to work with! Thank you Sun & Sea for helping make our wedding day perfect and unforgettable !

ld go on and on. I highly recommend hiring the Sun & Sea Beach Weddings for all of your wedding planning needs!

preparation process was stress free and that our wedding day was everything the two of us dreamt it would be, SIMPLY PHENOMENAL!
