Matt and Kendra were the photographers for our wedding back in February in Rochester, MN and let me tell you... these two rock! We were very picky when choosing vendors and their s...
tyle perfectly matched what we were looking for. They made photos a fun and exciting part of our day. They captured our ceremony and reception just how we wanted it and we hardly knew they were there. The pictures turned out beautifully and we could not be happier. These are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet and I guarantee that you will not regret choosing them. We can not thank them enough!
Matt and Kendra are such wonderful people, and we are so happy we chose them as our wedding photographer. They did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos. They were ...
beautiful and very artistic. They captured not only us, but our families/friends, and venue perfectly. They were great about coaching us throughout the process and photo shoot. During the planning phase, they were incredibly communicative and gave wonderful recommendations. They were very careful to make sure they captured all of the pieces of our wedding that were very important to us. We also ordered several prints from them, which were lovely. Everything arrived quickly. They really do think about every aspect of the wedding from initially discussing ideas, to signing the contract, planning for the event, and sending out final products. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
We were recommended to Summer Street Photography, by a friend, and they were fantastic! They were very personable throughout the whole process, sending a welcome packet, creating a...
photo shot list, and even coming to Chicago for our engagement photos and wedding. Matt and Kendra are also great photographers - we loved how the photos turned out and have gotten several compliments on them. They also delivered them so quickly, less than 2 weeks after the wedding. They are great at capturing candid moments. They made us feel comfortable, and we never felt like we were in unnatural poses. We would definitely recommend to anyone!
Summer Street Photography will make your wedding vision come to life through their immense talent and exquisite professionalism. In addition to their beautiful photography, Kendra ...
and Matt are extremely thoughtful, communicative, and detail oriented – characteristics that were apparent from the first video conference we had to discuss our wedding vision. From that moment on, our relationship with Kendra and Matt felt more like a friendship than a vendor/client relationship. I recommend reaching out to Summer Street regardless of where your wedding location is, because Matt and Kendra travel often and may already have plans to be in your area. (Our wedding was on Cape Cod in September 2018).
Matt and Kendra worked with us to design a custom photography package that was within our budget and encompassed all of our photo expectations. Kendra and I talked several times on the phone leading up to our September wedding, and she patiently explained how the photography would be incorporated into our schedule so that I could make informed decisions about our photography needs. Summer Street also provided a schedule that we filled out and had access to leading up to our wedding. Knowing that we were all on the same page prior to our wedding day alleviated a lot of stress and anxiety for me.
Matt was our photographer on the day of our wedding and he was masterful in skill and professionalism. Our ceremony and reception were at New Seabury Country Club, and we had several unique photo requests (including golf cart rides across the course for photos on the beach). Matt handled all of the day’s scheduling transitions seamlessly. In addition to our beautiful portrait shots, he took amazing candids during our ceremony and reception that perfectly captured the spirit and emotion of the day. Several of our guests commented on how Matt never got in the way of important moments or disrupted the flow of the celebration. When we received our wedding photos (only a few weeks after our wedding!), Matt had managed to capture so many moments and details during the 6 hours he was with us. After our wedding, Matt and Kendra quickly communicated when we could expect our online gallery and our thumb drive of photos. When the thumb drive arrived in the mail, it was tucked inside a beautiful case containing prints from our wedding that Matt and Kendra had prepared for us; the gift is now displayed in our living room. That thoughtfulness was the perfect culmination of our wonderful and personal experience with Summer Street Photography. Reach out to Summer Street if you’re looking for a wedding photographer who will work with your budget, talk through your photo expectations, and produce beautiful photographs that capture the beauty and emotion of your day.

nd Matt, however, are whom I recommend to my family and friends. I can speak from both professional and personal experience (they have photographed both of my sisters' weddings) that they are top notch in every.single.way. Their detailed and timely correspondence, timelines, and shoot lists help one feel calm, organized, and well-cared-for throughout the planning process, and their professional, friendly, and efficient demeanor on the day of the wedding is reason alone to select them for your special day.
But truly, the magic of Kendra and Matt is their artistic vision. Their photographs manage to encapsulate not only the beauty of how the day looks, but somehow also contain an essence of how the day FEELS. They are fantastic at photographing the details and finding the beauty in every "scene", and they are ARTISTS when it comes to capturing the candid moments that truly tell the story of the day -- moments that contain the unique spirit of the individuals the photograph.
To select Summer Street Photography for your wedding day is to give yourself a priceless gift.
We cannot say enough good things about Summer Street Photography. From the moment that we began working with them they were professional, caring, and made the planning process so ...
easy. On the day of our wedding Matt was our photographer and he was so calm and helpful. He took all of the photos that we asked him to capture and we are SO happy with the results. The photographs are absolutely beautiful. He truly captured all of the joy that we felt on our wedding day. We were so impressed with how quickly they sent them to us. We can hardly wait to begin framing them! Thank you Matt and Kendra!
My husband and I loved working with Kendra and Matt!
Not only were the photos from our wedding beautiful, but they made planning a breeze. We couldn't have done it without them!

ures turned out beautifully. Not only that, but Kendra and Matt are so patient and calming, which is needed during the hustle and bustle of a crazy wedding day. Kendra listed out all of my family members that I wanted in photos and all of the little details that I wanted captured (i.e. jewelry, invites, etc). They also did an excellent job of avoiding posed and cheesy fotos like I asked, and caught many candid moments throughout the day. Can't say enough about them! Highly recommend :)

o finish, made us feel completely at ease, and executed our vision with absolute perfection while doing what they do best. We love every single one of our 1,500 pictures, and we are in awe of them all. Thank you, Kendra and Matt! We are still so thrilled that you were along for our ride!

Cannot say enough good things about working with Matt and Kendra. Matt was our photographer and even though we didn't meet him until the day of the wedding (Kendra managed all the ...
pre-work) working with him was super comfortable and seamless. We were a little nervous about only having 1 photographer, but it was perfect for our 75 guest wedding. The pictures came out amazing. The most important thing for us was photos that captured the essence of the day (as opposed to lots of perfectly posed shots). Not only did Matt and Kendra deliver photos that bring me back to the emotions of love, joy, and gratitude from the day there is also some truly beautiful portraiture. Best of both worlds with these two- look no further for your wedding photographer.
I would give them 50 stars if I could. Kendra and Matt added so much to our celebration. Not only is their work breathtakingly beautiful, but they are also SO professional, kind, a...

shop to view some examples of their past wedding work, and to talk about what our vision was for our special day. We immediately felt comfortable with him, and we fell in love with the romantic style of their wedding photography, and their ability to capture candid moments and motion in their photos. We primarily communicated with Kendra regarding scheduling and planning for the wedding day. She was always very prompt and cheerful in her communication, and made herself readily available as a source of support if we had any questions or needs. She made sure to check in via text and email as the wedding day drew closer, and it made us feel incredibly supported and cared for. During posed photos at the wedding, Matt and Kendra made us feel at ease in front of the camera, and were able to capture the playful spirit and joy that my husband and I, and our family and friends, were filled with. We could not be more in love with the images that they captured of our wedding! Matt and Kendra are incredibly talented photographers with an eye for light, and for capturing the energy and spirit of a moment in their photos. Looking at them brings us back into each moment of our wedding day, and lets us in on some of the moments that we missed in the hustle and bustle of the event. We are so happy that these will be the photos that we share with our families and that we pass down to our children and grandchildren. We look forward to working with Summer Street again in the future, and happily recommend them to family and friends!
I can't recommend Summer Street enough! My husband and I are both a bit camera shy and were worried about our photos coming out too staged, or the photographer being too invasive. ...
Chuck put all of our fears to rest! He did an amazing job, made us feel natural and at ease, and during the reception and ceremony I almost forgot he was there -- until he sent us back the most beautiful photographs! I would highly recommend using them.
I can’t recommend Summer Street Photography highly enough! From the very beginning, Kendra made sure that the logistics were easy, she somehow put two very camera-shy people entir...
ely at ease, and most of all: she shot the most amazing photos. Traditional portraits, candid moments, creative photos – the final series captures our friends and family so perfectly that I can’t help but smile every time I look at it. Kendra listened to us and thought about our aesthetic every step of the way – we would definitely work with Summer Street again and we think you should too!

iant, and a perfect remembrance of our wedding day. Kendra was open and available during the planning process. Her professionalism and knowledge were a huge help in planning many aspects of our wedding. Once the wedding arrived, Kendra and Matt were defiantly in their element. They came prepared and were clear and quick in their directions to our family and friends while shooting throughout the day. Most importantly, we are able to relive our wedding day over and over again through the images that they created. We would absolutely recommend Summer Street Photography as your wedding photographer!

ery artistic and beautiful. From our first meeting with Kendra we were instantly comfortable with her. Kendra and Matt were very helpful with timing the day of the wedding. They kept us on time without ever making us feel rushed. The end results were beautiful, artistic and so personal. They really captured our personalities and all the emotions of the day in their photos. When we look back at the photographs we feel like we are reliving the day. One of our photos was even featured on Buzzfeed Weddings on Instagram! We loved working with them and plan to use them in the future as we grow our family!

eamed of! She makes sure she sees your vision and what you are looking for. Kendra is not only a photographer but a wedding pro! She has done so many weddings she was like a professional assistance with all her knowledge! Kendra kept in touch with us via texts, emails, and phone calls. Couldn't be happier with our service!!! We got our pictures back within a couple weeks too!

dge about events/weddings. Chuck was our photographer but we interacted mostly with Kendra during the planning process by email/phone. Kendra was a pleasure to work with - always super friendly, quick to reply, and full of great recommendations. The planning process alleviated a lot of potential stress on our wedding day as we knew exactly what to expect.
We first met Chuck for our engagement photo session a year before our wedding and we immediately felt comfortable working with him. Neither my husband nor I had ever been professionally photographed so we did not know what to expect. Chuck made the experience fun and easy - and of course we cherish the photographs he produced!
Thank you Kendra and Chuck! We look forward to working with you again in the future.

The few sneak peeks I've seen are stunning, and can't wait to see the rest. Summer Street is definitely worth the price (and are actually worth more!).
If you're a midwest bride - you should definitely look into Summer Street!
We used Summer Street Photography for our winter engagement photos and our summer wedding photos. We planned our wedding from out of state, and after reviewing hundreds of photogr...
apher websites, we fell in love with the style and vision of Kendra and Matt at Summer Street Photography. As we were unable to travel to Massachusetts a lot prior to our wedding, our communication was mainly email and one initial Skype session. Kendra was extremely responsive to my emails, even when I asked her wedding questions that did not exactly relate to photography! She was a great help with my planning and I appreciated her advice and referrals! We met Kendra and Matt for the first time during our engagement session in Boston and they were both calm and set us at ease. We appreciated the way they made us feel comfortable and we received countless compliments on the photos. On the day of our wedding, Kendra and Matt were flexible with our vision and seemed excited about the photos they were taking - which made us feel confident that they were capturing every moment. We recently received a gallery link and our flash drive of photos and we have already picked out our favorites! Summer Street also offers additional post-wedding services, including album creation, prints, and gallery wraps. We definitely plan to utilize these options as Kendra and Matt each have an amazing eye for photography and use their artistic abilities to create amazing pieces.

ould recommend them to anyone, especially if you don't like the corny, posed type of wedding photos and prefer candids and artistic shots. They were also very flexible and gave us a lot of options so that we could accommodate our budget. They really have a great eye and a serious talent for capturing the moment in photographs. We couldn't be happier with our pics!
You MUST hire Kendra and Matt as your photographers. Their photos look like they come straight out of a magazine and they are very easy to work with too. Before we hired them, we m...
et up for a cup of coffee and they showed us options for photography packages. If I had to use one word to describe their portfolio it would be "happiness". They also were not trying to rip us off, like some other photographers we had interviewed. Their pricing was very simple, they take the photos and you pay for them ... end of story. (No extra fees for this that and the other thing).
They also genuinely care about their clients. For example, on our wedding day, they called out our DJ on a major mistake he made and they were constantly watching our back to make sure that we were getting everything we wanted on that day. My favorite hing about K & M is that you get fun "sneak previews" of your wedding photos just a few days after the event which I loved.
These guys are not just people with cameras. They are true artists with their photography. You will not regret hiring Summer Street to capture those special moments during your wedding!
We were referred to Matt & Kendra of Summer Street Photography from our friends who were getting married a few months prior to us. They had nothing but glowing comments about t...
heir experience with them and we are happy to report that our experience was the same. Throughout the months before the wedding, they were both so helpful and communicated with us often sharing tips and guidance. From shooting our engagement shoot in -11 degree weather with windchill in the middle of winter in Boston to jumping on a jetski during our wedding portraits to get just the right angle for a perfect shot, they delivered above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the Boston/RI area and they also are willing to travel. We have already recommended them to several friends who are getting married in 2013!
A young, fun, husband and wife team; it's two for the price of one! We had a great time getting to know Kendra and Matt. They are great to work with, easy going and a great alter...
native to the traditional wedding industrial complex photographers. The color quality of their photos is what drew us to them and the price kept us there. As they are not traditional, they are somewhat limited in traditional poses. It was only an issue for us because I am not a fan of the more modern poses. They were responsive to email over the course of planning. We didn't have great weather for the engagement session or the wedding, but we made the most of it. We have a lot of great photos now to share with our friends and family and to remember our special day with. That was another great thing, the package includes digital copies that we can do what we want with. So, we can make our own prints and albums as we see fit.
Kendra and Matt (the owners) are phenomenal. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our package included an engagement session which was great because it all...
owed us to get comfortable in front of the camera, and we also had some great pictures to display at our wedding. Kendra worked with the girls and Matt with the guys for the most part. A friend of mine also had Summer Street Photography do their wedding, and we both agreed that Kendra was an asset when making sure that the day went smoothly- she intervened when bridesmaids were being difficult, she assisted in buttoning my dress, and she helped with bustling the dress as well! She was very accommodating and willing to help in any way possible, and was happy to shoot anything and everything that we wanted. I recently received all of our wedding pictures, and they came out great. Nevertheless, Summer Street Photography definitely specializes in capturing each and every moment of your special day. As a result, the posed portraits didn't come out as great as we had hoped. We had our photographers take pictures of all of our extended families (a little time consuming), so our portraits with our bridal party and our immediate families were a little bit rushed. My only regret is that our photographers didn't take the extra minute to make sure that the portraits with our bridal party and immediate families were just right. Just make sure you're very specific about the pictures that are important to you so that you're 100% satisfied when you see the results! All in all, Summer Street Photography did a phenomenal job and we would definitely recommend them!
Kendra and Matt captured the special moments of our wedding day with thoughtful, attentive craftsmanship. We communicated with Kendra and Matt in person, on the phone and via email...
before our wedding to talk about our expectations, goals and hopes for our wedding day coverage. The preparation showed in the quality of the photos. We were so excited to share them with our family and friends, who enjoyed reliving our wedding day with us.
For the 'getting ready' photos, Kendra thought to hang my wedding dress, veil and shoes on the porch outside our apartment, which created a beautiful color contrast with the red siding. Matt took candid shots of my husband and his groomsmen as they adjusted and readjusted their ties.
Kendra and Matt adapted to accommodate the church's photography policy, which allowed us to get wonderful pictures of the ceremony. We were thrilled that they made sneak peeks available on Facebook within 2 days of our wedding, which our family and friends really appreciated (especially those who couldn't make it).
They captured fun moments of the wedding reception, including a shot of our officiating reverend breaking it down and another of me and my mother-in-law getting down to 'Single Ladies' after the bouquet toss.
We had a great experience with Summer Street Photography, and the proof was in the photos!
