I got both my wedding dresses here (ceremony & reception) at a VERY affordable price. Both dresses are stunning !
I purchased my gown from this shop. You will receive minimal customer service. The person helping was terrible. Even though we were the only ones in the shop, she was extremely rel...
uctant to help with anything and was not knowledgeable about the gowns. The seamstress seemed nice but was unable to alter the gown because of her lengthy trip out of the country. After I cleaned the gown I fell in love with it (It was extremely dusty from sitting for so long). If you want customer service, do not expect it from here. However, we love Susan, if you are fortunate enough for her to be in the shop.
They had the dress of my dreams there when no one else did, but sadly not in my size. I was assured that it could be let out and no one would ever know, they called over the in-sto...
re alterationist and she said all the right things. I bought the dress, and was later very disappointed to find out it could not be let out to my size and the alterationist messed up EVERY SINGLE THING I paid her to do. So yeah, stick to your size and the dresses are great deals, but all other accessories there are not sale price and find a different seamstress.
Outlet claims to have an entire room dedicated to the plus size bride. The entire store is one room and there is a vey limited selection. The employee working explained how the tag...
works, but that was it. She was no help after that and I ended up leaving after just a few minutes. The dresses I saw were no cheaper than anywhere else I looked at.
Very good option for a low maintenance bride on a budget. The salon was a little sketchy from the outside but once inside it was nice. Small selection but beautiful gowns and very ...
affordable prices. Good service, friendly consultants, but not as professional as some higher end places.
I walked in to look at dresses, tried on a lot (Ebby was great at finding more dresses for me to try on and showing me different takes on the styles I was drawn to), and left with ...
my wedding dress and veil! I couldn't have had a better experience. Affordable dresses but a lot of variety for a smaller sized shop. The incredible service truly made the whole day perfect. I'm so happy I ventured here!
Thank you thank you thank you Sue Ames! All because of social media I have my perfect dress for a great price. I was searching for a particular designer's line locally through twit...
ter, and Sue Ames reached out and let me know that they could get the dress for me for a discounted rate, better than anywhere else I tried. And that was right. I went down to Delaware, found & fell in love with a dress from the designer I liked, got sized locally and made the purchase over the phone with Sue Ames. A few short months later, I got the call that my dress was in! I drove up from Philly and my dress was waiting for me-stunning! This was the first time I'd been in the shop. The woman working that day was very very nice (as was everyone I dealt with over the phone, facebook, twitter). She let me try it on and helped me, and was super sweet as well. Philly brides, you don't need to just shop at the pricey boutiques, see what Sue Ames can do for you!
While the facility that houses the dresses leaves something to be desired, the dresses are as good as anything at any other salon, and the prices are INCREDIBLE!
Ebby (manager)...
is so kind and is willing to offer her honest opinion when asked for it. She really helped me make the final decision on my dress and I couldn't be happier!
The turnaround time between order and receipt was very quick. The only drawback is that tailoring is not offered directly through Sue Ames, and you must store your dress on your own after it comes into the store.
My 4-star overall rating is 4 instead of 5 only because of the appearance of the store. Everything else is a 5 all the way!
Very affordable dresses. The invidual who assisted me was super nice and helpful even though I had not made an appointment ahead of time. I will say that there is not an extremely ...
large selection of dresses but what they have is very affordable.
I loved coming here. They were absolutely amazing with making me feel comfortable and at home in the shop. The location isn't the best, but once you walk in the doors its a place...
you will love. The staff are outstanding, friendly, considerate and patient. They will help find the perfect dress even if you don't know it exists. They were patient with my many visits to show different branches of my family the dress and considerate with finances.
