Kerry did EXACTLY what i wanted for my wedding cake. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I continue to visit and get sweets even though my wedding is over. Not to all brides.... I...
talian buttercream icing is the way to go. We have a tier of vanilla chiffon with pineapple passion fruit filler and a tier of lemon chiffon with raspberry filler! TO DIE FOR! Thank you Kerry.
My husband & I got married at the Hilton Melbourne Beach and we met with Kerry at Sue Ann's Bakery very early on, as I knew exactly what I wanted. She asked us questions and she ma...
de a lot of notes which made my micromanaging planning self happy. Many months went by before the wedding and when I saw the cake on our wedding day I nearly cried. It was absolutely perfect. I have been to several weddings and never remember the cake, I'm probably biased but I ate 3 pieces at our wedding. She also left a little cupcake version of our cake at our seat which we enjoyed later that evening. THANK YOU!
Kerry is very talented at baking. She needs help business wise though. It can be difficult to get a hold of her and get things back from them aside from going in to talk face to fa...
ce. The cake was delicious and looked beautiful. Our only complaint was the fact that I was about to walk down the aisle, and we had no cake. My mom had to call and found out that the cake hadn't even left the bakery yet. Thankfully, it was there by the reception time.
Absolutely wonderful! Turned out perfect, would definitely recommend and use again.
So, for starters, their cakes are delicious. However, on the day of the wedding they showed up over an hou late (almost at the start of the ceremony) and decorated it on site. This...
would have been fine except for the fact that they decorated it incorrectly. The bottom tier was supposed to have gumpaste flower petals all over, and instead they put very simple and not very pretty swirls instead. The cake also had a very obvious tilt, and honestly looked like it came from Publix. I emailed the owner immediately and it took her over a month to reply, at which point she disclosed that she didn't like the gumpaste petals and decided to change the design without asking me or anyone else. She did offer to give us a check with a anniversary cake, but we live 1k miles away so this wouldn't really work for us. If you want a simple design, this is a great route to go. But if you want some a little more ellegant and put together, find a different bakery.
Kerry at Sue Ann's was great to work with! Our cake was amazing and exactly what I wanted. We wanted just a simple cake - vanilla with vanilla buttercream, and red velvet with va...
nilla buttercream and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Sue Ann's; they were so great and helpful to work with and the cake was delicious!
Don't get me wrong about Sue ann's bakery, their cake is amazing, they tasted so amazing and the overall look of the cake was amazing... however they put the wrong last name initia...
ls on my cake. It should have been a "J" and instead it ended up being a "B". They said that they were rushed because the flowers were not how they should have been (I was never instructed on how to have the flowers besides having them by the table) and then said that someone could have called them to come back and fix it (I didn't have anyone over looking them because I didn't think there would be a problem). I did contact them after the wedding and they are going to compensate me with a 6 in round anniversary cake.
Jennifer at Sue Ann's Bakery was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we began discussing my vision she seemed to know exactly what I wanted...and I was so pleased with th...
e final product. Everything was perfect, exactly what I had envisioned. Oh, and let's not forget the most important part -- DELICIOUS!
After receiving an estimate about a wedding cake, I was surprised by both the reasonable pricing and especially the service I received. Jennifer at Sue Ann's went out of her way t...
o help us design the perfect wedding cake that looked beautiful at our wedding. She was professional and quick to answer any questions, and I very much enjoyed working with her. She even went so far as to match our turquoise beach-themed cake to my bridesmaids' dresses. It turned out exactly as I had hoped, if you want personal service and a great cake, go to Sue Ann's! They are a wonderful local bakery that show great dedication to making beautiful cakes and providing a great experience to their customers.
All I have to say is WOW! I went to Sue Ann's for my first tasting. The shop is small and quaint! The staff is amazing! THe girls were so helpful in helping us design our perfect c...
ake! We emailed back and forth many times with many ideas and didnt stop until we were satisfied! They ordered specific modings for our cake at no extra charge! The flavors of the cakes and frosting were UNBELIEVABLE! No other bakery coud come close to comparison! THe second place I went was larger but the owner had the personality of a clam and the cake was terrible! Her designs were beautiful but taste was more important! She also told me to hurry up and let them know if we were going to use them because they only had one spot left for the day of our wedding...I found that hard to believe! After going with Sue Ann's, I received multiple calls from the other bakery sounding desperate for business! Ironic since there was only one place left! I say all this because it only makes Sue Ann's look even better! They were friendly, honest, and not pushy at all! It was more of a passion than about making money, and that was apparent throughout the whole process! Truly wonderful experience!
I just happened to see this bakery while driving to work one day and popped my head in to take a look. I'm so glad I did! Jenn was a pleasure to work with. Our cake turned out p...
erfect and they make the best cupcakes I've found in the area! We had to have both! The prices were very reasonable too. The only problem is I had to purchase a cupcake every time I stopped by and was worried I'd gain weight before the wedding! They were just too yummy!
