Styles by Marcella

with a longtime friend from your first meet. She did my makeup and hair so beautifully at the trial, and she was open to my feedback for the final wedding day look. She was so organized in figuring out the schedule for 1 bride, 6 bridesmaids, and 2 moms in four hours and hiring an incredible team to help along her side (props to Dana and Danielle!). All her prep work was so well, that our wedding day hair and makeup sessions ran so smoothly and on time. She knew the exact final look I wanted and executed it perfectly, and she was open to making any adjusts for me if I desired. I looked and felt so beautiful throughout my wedding day, and I know my girls did too. Now the best part, my makeup stayed on so long of the day - this is a miracle given I cried so much during the day. Marcella truly is the best, so much that I am trying to find a next special occasion, so I can work with her!

lla in August 2024 but I had a number of notes by the end of the day. The day of the wedding in October 2024, Marcella was able to update my look based on my feedback to really make me feel like the most beautiful and bridal version of me (and she even cut my face framing pieces day-of to perfect the look). She also spent a ton of time with my mom (i.e. giving her 3 different hairstyles) and was so patient and accommodating in making sure my mom felt like her most beautiful self. My hair stayed all day (even being on the dance floor the entire time) without the need for any touchups. I would easily use Marcella again in a heartbeat! PC: @jeanettejoyphoto

r assistants for my bridesmaids. Makeup and hair stayed all night long! She was super helpful in answering questions, purchasing hair extensions, planning the morning of and overall making it a very stress free process.

uickly to my questions and any changes to the schedule we had. She arrived on time and was so sweet and approachable to all of my girls. All of the girls loved how their hair came out and it stayed all night long!

trusted her. I highly recommend!

ryone kept complementing me. Please run to her.

ll my questions. As someone who does not wear makeup daily, she made me feel comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day. My whole bridal party loved Marcella as well. She listened to each and every girl and, weeks later, we are all still talking about how much we loved working with Marcella! I will absolutely be recommending Marcella to friends and family, and I know we will work together again in the future. I am so happy I chose Marcella for my wedding day!

se. She effortlessly styled not only my hair and makeup but also my sister's and my mom's, showcasing her versatility and skill. Our hair and makeup lasted flawlessly throughout the entire night, a testament to her commitment to quality. Marcella is not just a talented stylist; she's a wonderful communicator and the kindest soul. I couldn't have asked for a better person to make us feel beautiful and confident on such an important day. I wholeheartedly recommend Marcella for her outstanding work and the genuine warmth she brings to the experience. She truly made my wedding day unforgettable.

inally got to meet Marcella at my hair trial and we hit it off right away. She is such a genuinely kind person and it felt like I was talking to an old friend. She listened to everything I wanted for my hair during my trial and tried different things when I asked. The morning of my wedding, I decided I wanted to change things from my trial, and she executed it perfectly. Marcella also did my mom's and two sisters' hair and she crushed it. She was a wonderful presence the morning of our wedding - cannot recommend Marcella enough!

wedding was no different, it was so much fun to have her there. My hair and makeup were PERFECT and all my girls were stunning as well. I cannot recommend her enough - all of the 5 star reviews are truly a testament to how talented and wonderful she is!

wasn’t sure what style to go with for my wedding day. Marcella made me feel comfortable with not knowing and was super flexible with me deciding my style the day off!! She is beyond sweet and so fun to talk to and the results were incredible. My entire bridal party was so happy with how their hair turned out. If you’re still looking for a hair stylist I HIGHLY recommend Marcella. She is truly talented.

! For my trial she basically copied the photo I showed her it was so impressive! Not only is she talented but she’s just such a genuine and wonderful person! I was texting her so much not just with hair stuff but pretty much any vent session I had. She’s like the best friend I didn’t know I needed I actually had a complete breakdown in her chair the week before my wedding over my wedding dress and she talked me down so good! But let’s talk about my wedding day! I cannot believe how beautiful I looked and felt! I wanted volume and my girl gave me volume! Everything she did was just stunning! One of my best decisions was picking her as my hair girl All of my girls hair looked perfect! Even my sister (who is incredibly hard to please) loved her hair style Marcella is just incredibly talented and I don’t think there’s any other words I can say to even describe that talent or what a genuine and thoughtful and beautiful person she is

o THE sweetest person I have ever met. My hair and makeup came out better than I ever would have imagined and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day :) My bridesmaids that she styled had so many amazing things to say about her as well. I can’t recommend her enough!!

feel incredibly lucky to have had her as my stylist on my wedding day!!! I made it a point to leave her a review because she was THAT good!

me immediately when I said I was looking for someone to do my hair who could do the softer style I was looking for. After checking out her insta and falling in love with her style I knew I had to contact her. From the very first email, Marcella was literally the sweetest person in the world. I booked with her immediately and once I realized she also had her own salon, I reached out to her about getting to work on restoring my hair to its former health. I, like so many people, did a little home salon-ing during covid and that was..... not good. Not only did Marcella guide me to repairing my hair health and correcting my color, we were able to get it to almost twice its length with proper products and care in the year before my wedding. She is a total miracle worker. Needless to say, regardless of the wedding, I am a loyal Styles by Marcella client, forever! BUT, she also completely killed my wedding hairstyle. I was no easy customer. I kept changing my mind and was never quite sure what I wanted. We had a trial style in mind and I totally flipped the script on that. But Marcella took every single thing I wanted into account and rolled with the punches. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and my hair was stunning. All of my bridesmaid looked amazing, as well, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Not only is Marcella amazing at her craft, she is the kindest, sweetest, easiest person to talk to. She truly was my therapist through all of the wedding planning nonsense and I know I made a lifelong friend in this process. I am so grateful to have met her. If you're on the fence, BOOK WITH HER!!!!

nother trial which didn’t come out as expected, some people weren’t available, and some people just didn’t answer me so I started my search yet again all to find the amazing Marcella ! I knew before her even touching my hair that she would be my person 💕 she answered me within hours, was patient, reasonable, kind, relatable and TALENTED AF! Marcella made me feel like a princess she not only did my hair for my wedding but my hair and make up for my bridal shower which she slayed. As for my wedding my hair did not move. It was everything I dreamed of. I can’t thank Marcella enough for all of her hard work and making my dreams come true.

iful work on instagram and countless 5 star reviews, I reached out to see if she was available for my wedding. After talking to her on the phone, I knew she was meant to be apart of my wedding day and booked her instantly (with no trial or any personal recs) and it was one of the best decisions I made! She has the kindest heart and within minutes of meeting her, you feel as you have been besties for years. She not only does hair and make-up but becomes your go-to wedding day therapist!! Leading up to the wedding, she was so flexible with day of time changes and had such patience with me coordinating all logistics! She brought such amazing energy on wedding morning and become the official hype woman for all my girls. All my bridesmaids and both my mom and MIL loved her as well! I appreciated that she returned on wedding day to do touch ups to make sure everyone kept feeling beautiful all day long. Without a doubt, I would a million percent recommend Marcella to everyone! Between her personality, her crazy talent for both hair and make-up, and her reasonable prices.... it is a no brainer!

ns up her arms and heart to you the moment you meet her and the only thing she cares about is making your vision come true. With Marcella's talent, eye for style and compassionate listening skills, you will have the hair and makeup you always dreamed about for your big day. Marcella works hard to create a team to come to you that morning, leave you feeling grounded and confident and keeps her focus on YOU and your special people. My hair and makeup stayed ALL DAY LONG. Marcella also has an amazing extension company to help you create volume and length that seamlessly matches with your own hair - nobody would ever know it was extensions! Hiring Marcella for your wedding beauty needs is a must for all future brides.

uld be up front with her in everything I was hoping for on the big day. The trial was so thorough and wonderful -- I had never worn extensions, lashes, or airbrush makeup, and she was so up front with me about cost, pros/cons for adding enhancements, etc. The day of, she and her assistant were efficient and professional, and such a joy to be around! Marcella even handled an almost disaster with one of my bridesmaid's curly hair, and still managed to make her hair stunning in the end. I was so sad to take my makeup off at the end of the night. I was amazed that it had lasted as long as it did -- even after all the Greek dancing at our wedding. I'm hoping that my sister in law chooses Marcella as her makeup and hair stylist, so she can do my hair and makeup again!

ful work with hair and makeup, but also felt an amazing positive energy emanating from her that made me so excited to meet her. I was pretty anxious when my bridal trial was only 1 week before the big day, and definitely felt like like the pressure was on. But not only did the trial go amazing, she felt like someone I had known forever, and I was so excited to see her again. When the big day came, it was amazing to be surrounded by such a warm, calm, friendly and reassuring woman. And my hair and makeup came out even better than I could have ever imagined. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and not only did it stay absolutely perfect the entire day and night, but when I woke up the next morning to catch an early flight for my honeymoon, it still looked just as it did the night before. Her entire team was amazing as well. Even my sisters and mom who can be a bit hard to please were more than impressed and could not have been happier. If you are thinking about booking Marcella, just stop thinking and DO IT!!! She will make you feel like a Queen and your most beautiful self. And you will also feel like you made an incredible friend in the process. I’m already thinking about what event I can book her for next. THANK YOU MARCELLA. You are incredibly talented and the best of the best!

nail the look, but she did it better than I could have ever imagined. The team she brought with her was incredible too, and everyone in the bridal party LOVED how everything turned out. She is so sweet, and easy to work with. Before the wedding she responded to emails very timely, and was so caring and easy to communicate with. On the day of, she kept everything on schedule and was a huge reason the morning was so fun and stress free. I could not say enough wonderful things about Marcella- she truly is amazing!

y to communicate with and accommodating with scheduling from day 1 until the wedding itself. Marcella was so punctual, calming, sweet and patient on the morning of our wedding and truly made the day flow as smoothly as possible! Her talent is unmatched, and we all received / continue to receive compliments on our hair! I’ve truly never felt better and I have Marcella to thank! My hair stayed put even after a day/night of wind, dancing and sleeping. Would absolutely recommend her for your wedding and any special event!!

ds. Marcella is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable. On my wedding day, we had 13 girls getting their hair done - Marcella and her team were a pleasure to work with. Everything went so smooth and everyone looked amazing. My hair stayed perfect the entire night (over 12 hours) and I got so many compliments. I am so appreciative of Marcella's client service - I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Thank you so much, Marcella and team for being a part of my day!

ed having her around and getting to know her. She was always so nice when responding to my emails and never seemed annoyed at answering my questions or my last minute changes. I was not that excited for my hair trial because I never felt super confident in my hair or how I should style it but she made me feel very comfortable and I was so happy I got that experience. We adjusted slightly from the hair trial and she absolutely KILLED IT. My hair was one of the highlights of my day - I truly felt beautiful. The rest of the girls also looked amazing and she was so kind to everyone. This is my first wedding review I have written and it is because it is easily the one that deserves the most credit. If I could do it again, I would 1000 percent use Marcella again for my wedding and am hoping to get my hair styled by her again some day :) I can not say enough good things about her - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

th good, fun conversation. She knows how to make you feel at ease and like you’re legitimately best friends. I needed a balayage (mine was grown out) and she recommended I go early-mid July. She is located in Westbury and I’m out East, and my schedule is crazy so I decided to just use the girl I had used last time for color. What could go wrong? I wanted a brown balayage, but got BLONDE highlights. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I emailed Marcella in a panic asking what to do. She opened her schedule up late for me one day to come get it fixed and she absolutely NAILED it. That was just above and beyond in my opinion. By the day of the wedding I was in love with the color, and she did an incredible job with the style! Not only that, all of my girls loved their hair and everyone’s hair stayed perfect all night. She is an absolute GEM and if you get the chance to book her, do it NOW.

e was great person on top of being an amazing hair stylist. Thank you marcella for everything! So talented

n assure you her makeup skills are top notch as well - especially if you’re looking for a more subtle, natural look. There is a reason she gets booked for wedding hair so much, though - she’s a master! My updo was exactly what I wanted. She worked with me to turn my bits and pieces of an image into a reality. Additionally, her team (Sam, Dana, Lexi, and Ciara) was also crazy talented and efficient. All of my girls were done ahead of schedule, and I was done right on time! We had a call time of 5:00am, which was a little rough, but the hair and makeup team were all there right on time and ready to roll. They were truly perfect. Marcella is the epitome of professional, and seriously such a sweet person. She’s a great hype woman! And all of our hair and makeup held up perfectly throughout the day.

to May 2021. During the date change, Marcella was so easy to work with! She also did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower and it came out exactly how I imagined! My hair on my wedding day stayed perfect all night long. My bridesmaids still rave about the work Marcella does and will compare Marcella’s work to other hair stylists for weddings they have been in. I continue to go to Marcella now for haircuts and I am so happy I do! She has the sweetest soul and I always look forward to catching up with her during my appointment. If you’re looking for a makeup artist, or bridal hair stylist, Marcella is it!!

what I wanted and asked me to trust her for the big day. And boy did she come through! It was EXACTLY what I wanted and no lie my absolute favorite part of my wedding. Everyone commented on my hair. I loved it so much I kept it in for three days, which goes to show you this girl does not mess around and your hair will absolutely stay in place all night. Plus she was a pleasure to have in the small room we were all getting ready in.

next day asking what I liked and didn't like so it could be perfect for the wedding day. When our wedding came, so did a huge snowstorm and we had to postpone our wedding to the next day. Marcella was on board and willing to change the date for us with last minute notice. The day of my wedding, she coordinated a schedule for myself and my bridal party so everything ran smoothly. My hair turned out EXACTLY as I wanted and stayed for the entire night. My entire bridal party raved about Marcella and how they loved their hair. I look forward to booking with Marcella on any upcoming events!

day and looked GREAT! I'm so happy I requested her to do my hair for my wedding. I HIGHLY recommend her!

y of my wedding and it was amazing! My hair normally doesn’t hold curls and it lasted all night. I absolutely loved the style and got so many compliments. Her and her team did my bridal party also and everyone loved their hair as well. She is the sweetest and we had so much fun. I am so happy she was a part of my wedding day and can’t wait to use her services again!

wanted! My bridesmaids all loved their hair and makeup as well. She is accommodating, easy to get in touch with, and cares about her clients! I couldn't recommend her more!! <3

on my wedding day!

ng. She was able to deal with my whole bride team and different visions/styles and personalities. She is a perfectionist and will always strive the best to make sure one is satisfied and accommodating. I highly recommend Marcella to anyone, especially how my hair came out and maintained for 24 plus hours!!! Thank you Marcella! xoxo

created a beautiful soft up-do for me during my trial with my natural curls. As my wedding came closer I changed my mind 400x (as we all do) and decided to blowout my hair first to keep my up-do in tact. Day of we winged and I ended up with a gorgeous half up half down style with soft waves and a hair piece. My hair stayed all day through LOTS of dancing! Also, for all of my curly girls my mom kept her natural curls and Marcella enhanced them with her tiny wand (there is definitely a professional word for that) and she looked AMAZING. Marcella made my wedding morning extra special because I was oooing and ahing at all of my girls' fabulous hair after they left her chair. Aside from her obvious styling skills, Marcella is extremely professional and maybe the sweetest person I have ever met. There were no surprises she told me exactly what I needed to know and provided a schedule/instructions for each step. She was also very comforting and accommodating when we had to postpone due to covid and change our starting location to a different state. You have a lot of options when picking vendors and it can be overwhelming. Hiring Marcella for your beauty needs will ensure everyone in your party looks fabulous and your mind will be at ease because SHE'S GOT YOU!

keup artist, Angela. My hair held up PERFECTLY! Many of my friends were telling me at the end of the night that it looked like my hair was freshly done and the bridesmaids were so impressed with how well all of their hairstyles stayed the entire night also, once again through a heatwave and 2+ hours outside taking photos!! Her attention to detail is fantastic and she gave each of my girls the exact style they wanted, plus she was a great time to hang out with all day!

ding, the communication was amazing! When I walked into her studio for my hair trial, she acted like we have known each other forever! She has such a loving, friendly, supportive and funny demeanor and it radiates in her studio! I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted, but I showed her a few photos of bits and pieces that I liked. When she turned me around and showed me my hair, I was literally speechless. She made the vision that I never knew I had, COME. TO. LIFE! Talented is an understatement. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, along with my bridal party. I can not thank her enough for everything! If you are thinking about booking her, don't walk, RUN!!

ition to the entire day. Marcella made sure we were on schedule and that everyone looked beautiful! She truly is the absolute best in the business. Talented and so so kind - Marcella is a must book for your big day!

anted and helped me create my vision.

wedding day! She's full of positivity and I think that's really important for brides who are constantly stressed with the planning. Besides her bubbly personality, she's talented! My hair looked STUNNING and held ALL NIGHT (and let me tell you, I dance A LOT!) It was even still beautiful the day after- and the day after that! And she did our makeup so natural! I forgot I was even wearing makeup the entire night because it was so light and airy, and yet I had dramatic smokey eyes that again lastest all night! She's truly amazing and I already know I'll be working with her again in the future!

mely responsive to emails coordinating everything since I was a postponed bride and came early to do my hair and makeup and my mom's hair and makeup by herself. I was extremely indecisive about what I wanted my look to be, but once Marcella saw the dress I was going to wear she came up with the perfect hair and makeup combination. It even got my mom's stamp of approval — and that is pretty hard to get! She was able to get the both of our glam done perfectly — and quickly — and it lasted all night. I highly recommend Marcella and look forward to booking with her for other special occasions!

ake up and got so many compliments on how natural and tasteful it looked. Not only is Marcella talented but, she is extremely kind and down to earth. Marcella makes you comfortable and at ease from start to finish. She is attentive to the look you want and she delivers way beyond expectations. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to do my hair and makeup for my special day. Thank you again Marcella! I recommend her to all women whether it’s for a wedding or not. You will be glad you called her!

lt like a million bucks. Marcella and her team juggled a large group of bridesmaids seamlessly, we all were done ahead of schedule, and every single girl raved about how much they loved their looks for the day. Marcella had amazing energy and her good vibes made us each feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. Hiring her was the best decision!
