Based in Brooklyn, NY, Studio Dorothy is a vintage and archival bridal studio founded by stylist and fashion expert Lizzie Wheeler. Named in honor of her Nana, Dorothy or "Dottie", the studio celebrates personal style and the joy of playing dress-up. Inspired by Dorothy's closet of designer treasures that Lizzie and her cousins grew up playing within, she has now created a modern space where clients can experience that same sense of wonder.
At Studio Dorothy, every appointment feels intimate, personal, and a little magical, just like trying on something special for the first time. Specializing in vintage and rare designer bridalwear, Lizzie offers one-of-a-kind looks for every moment of the wedding journey, from engagement to honeymoon. With over a decade of experience in luxury womenswear, Lizzie now offers personalized wedding styling to ensure every client feels radiant throughout the experience.
Clients are invited to schedule a styling appointment in the original Dorothy's Kips Bay studio. The appointment can include guests, turning the entire experience into a party you will never forget. No matter where you find yourself on your wedding journey, Lizzie and the team at Studio Dorothy will work tirelessly to ensure your special day is everything you've always dreamed it would be.
