I needed a crystal applique attached to my dress, I needed a small change in the bust area, and I needed a simple bustle. The other place I contacted said it would probably cost be...
tween $300 and $400. Yelena at Strongsville Alterations & Embroidery did it all for $110! She politely offered her professional opinion about different ways to attach the applique and fix the bust problem than what I was thinking, and she was up front about the fact that it would raise the cost by $20 but it would look a whole lot nicer. I'm really glad I listened to her advice, because my dress turned out perfectly! Also, the bustle was just right with only one bustle point, and she said David's Bridal would have told me I needed about nine bustle points to achieve the same thing (charging for each one, of course). I really can't say enough good things about Strongsville Alterations and Embroidery!

al. I told her the whole time I didn’t want a bustle that made my butt look huge (which is really hard with how big of a train I have, she made my dress look absolutely amazing with the bustle. I would recommend this company to everyone.
I would recommend this seamstress to anyone, she did an absolutely amazing job on my alterations!!! She altered my Pronovias lace wedding gown which needed significant changes to i...
t and did a phenomenal job. She not only took in the entire bodice of my dress but she also lowered the back, added a bustle, and took up the length of the gown for half the price that other trailers quoted me. I ended up telling her that she was my fairy God mother because she truly saved me from a wedding dress disaster caused by the shop where I ordered my dress from (they ordered me the wrong size.) Yellena was not only talented but truly a perfectionist which really meant a lot to me as this was the most expensive dress I have ever purchased. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this family owned business and hope that other brides benefit from her, she truly cares and does a phenomenal job!!!!
