StringSource

wonderful to work with leading up to the day and was so helpful with everything we needed. Highly, highly recommend, one of my favorite parts of my wedding day!

om start to finish. She listened carefully to our vision and helped us craft the perfect musical experience for our ceremony. And that was no easy task as our playlist for the wedding and cocktail hour ranged from classical chamber literature to Icelandic punk-rock, Irish folk, New Orleans jazz, and movie soundtracks. Kanako was professional, responsive, and truly attentive to our preferences. She made the planning process smooth and enjoyable, and on the day of the wedding, everything went exactly as we had hoped. The music was beautiful, perfectly timed, and added such a meaningful and memorable touch to our celebration. The string quartet perfectly embodied the grandeur and magical feel of The Monastery. And the jazz combo could not have set a more casual and fun vibe during the cocktail hour. We are so grateful to Kanako and the entire team of talented musicians with StringSource for helping bring our vision to life. If you want exceptional music and a team that genuinely cares about your event, look no further than StringSource!

ld recommend them a million times over!

to our day. We are so glad we were able to use them to bring beautiful music to our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests raved about the music, too!

n the aisle, the music was flawless and set the perfect tone. It was elegant, emotional, and made the whole experience feel so special. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. If you’re looking to create a magical, memorable ceremony, I can’t recommend them enough!

025 wedding and they were, BY FAR, the easiest vendors to work with (and I had really agreeable vendors for the most part!). We had them play an extended guest welcome/prelude, our wedding ceremony, as well as our cocktail hour and they absolutely set the tone for the evening. Everything from classical to Top 40 to even a special song I requested them to learn for the ceremony, they absolutely nailed. No notes. 100/10. One of my only and major regrets for my own wedding was that I didn't get to see more of them myself, but my guests were blown away with them. I could not imagine not having them at our wedding - Kanako and her team are not only easy-going as far as working together but also incredibly professional as well as affordable. Have I mentioned how amazing they sound?! I'm already scheming more parties in my head that I can throw to have them play at. Thank you so much!!

re the best!  Everyone loved the parade and the vibes of cocktail hour. They have a great reputation for a reason. They were also really easy to work with. 10/10 would hire them again.

I cannot recommend them enough!

ended up hiring the trio and they were absolutely amazing! I will never forget listening to the songs I had dreamed of having played at my wedding since I was a little girl while waiting with my dad behind the big double doors to walk down the aisle. They played every song on my wish list beautifully and I truly cannot imagine our day without them!

shortly after getting engaged, because they were a non-negotiable. They are incredibly talented (I booked the quartet). Kanako was my main point of contact and she was extremely communicative and flexible. During our ceremony, no one had to worry about timing the walking because String Source is so experienced and will either slow down or speed up what they’re playing so you don’t have to worry. I really hope I have the pleasure of listening to them at future weddings because they’re that amazing!

my questions were answered, emails responded to promptly, and lots of follow ups leading up to the wedding day. I also feel like day of they figured everything out without took much involvement from me (the bride). I can’t recommend them enough!

day and our guests continue to remark on how beautifully they played both classical and pop pieces. One of our favorite memories is sitting down after our first dance to begin dinner as their sextet began playing Viva La Vida. Their playing created a magical and high energy atmosphere through the meal that beautifully led up to speeches. When Stringsource finished their set, our guests broke out into a spontaneous round of applause - everyone had loved it! Kanako also worked closely with us (with amazing patience and responsiveness) to compose two special medleys combining some of our favorite pieces, which Stringsource played during cocktail hour and for our first dance - it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We now have an amazing connection to some of our favorite pieces and it is something we will treasure forever. Thank you, Kanako and the rest of your talented ensemble!

recommend having StringSource at any event - they truly elevated the whole wedding weekend for us!

ss and stress-free. I was able to fully customize the music for both the prelude and ceremony, and her thoughtful recommendations helped bring everything together beautifully. On the day of the wedding, StringSource delivered a stunning performance that truly elevated the entire ceremony. So many guests came up to me afterward to compliment the music and ask about the musicians! I can't recommend StringSource highly enough—they were professional, talented, and an unforgettable part of our big day.

assical, popular, anything music - you cannot go wrong with this group. I couldn't recommend StringSource enough, they made it so easy to work with them! I found them during a local Beyonce candlelight concert and fell in love, ended up walking down the aisle to Halo. Thank you, StringSource!

or making David and Raegyn’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour flow flawlessly! We highly recommend StringSource Cincinnati for your special event!

tringSource brought to the wedding! We immediately reached out and hired them to perform at our wedding! The detail, talent, and skill they play with is memorizing! It elevated our ceremony and cocktail hour in the most magical and lovely way. My aunt performed a song during our ceremony and StringSouce learned the song to perform with her--it was such a beautiful touch that I will forever cherish! I can't recommend StringSouce enough! Kanko was an absolute gem to work with and we could not be more grateful we had them as part of our day :)

tle gets to be a lot 😅) and they executed everything so professionally! I told them the 3 songs that we wanted to be played: 1 that my husband wanted his grandmas, and him with his parents to walk down to, 1 for me and my parents to walk down to, and 1 for our recessional. Before the ceremony, we didn’t have a preference of songs, but I requested classical. And during cocktail hour, we requested pop renditions. The feedback we got from our guests said it was like being in Bridgerton and it was a nice touch to our wedding! Highly recommend!

ift songs with a symphony classical feel. AND they helped us out by continuing to play for some of our reception when the power went out. So grateful!

a pianist for our cocktail hour and pricing was very reasonable. People came up to us after the wedding and raved about the music. Highly recommend!

h they loved it. I would definitely recommend Stringsource for your wedding. You will not be disappointed and neither will your guests. Words can’t explain how great of an experience this was for us.

y also played as our guests were arriving, we didn’t give specific songs for that and based on guest feedback, they chose excellently. The string source team was easy to work with, very open with communication. Everyone loved the music! It really elevated our ceremony. Highly recommend!

array of classical and popular music options. Amelia and Jonathan's violin/cello duet was amazing. The bride and groom were super happy with the result, and we received so many compliments from guests. I highly recommend StringSource!

dn’t do and they were so organized when planning for the ceremony. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

en planning our wedding, I couldn't stop thinking of StringSource and how beautiful it would be to have them perform our ceremony music. I reached out to Kanako and she made it happen! StringSource played the 30min prelude and ceremony music. They also played the cocktail hour at our reception. We wanted music that meant something to us rather than traditional classical pieces. She let us choose all of the music which were mostly contemporary and acoustic pieces. They even accompanied our daughter when she sang a song to us at the reception. It was all perfection! Kanako made it so easy to book, to plan and to pay. The musicians were so personable and professional. Hiring StringSource was one of the best decisions we made and having a playlist of all the songs that comprised our wedding and reception is just priceless!

ive; they knew every song we specifically requested, making our day truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

riendly and easy to work with on the day, and they did a wonderful job playing!

ource was able to accommodate all of our song choices. They kept the vibe fun and poppy during cocktail hour and played everything from “Invisible String” to Mac Miller “2009” and then “Can’t help falling in love with you” for our ceremony. We can’t thank you all enough!

so beautiful!! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

arn my late father's own music. It was a touching and profound experience, bringing an indescribable sense of peace and comfort to my husband, me, and our loved ones. String Source's beautiful renditions and care to learning and playing his music provided a gift as close to having him there as possible. Each of the musicians' ability to breathe life into the notes and melodies transcends technical skill—they play with emotion and love. Beyond that, their kindness, graciousness, and professionalism throughout the planning process were truly appreciated. We will be reminiscing about our wedding reception dinner music forever. I can confidently share that booking String Source was the most thoughtful wedding decision we made throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend String Source enough to couples getting married or those planning special events.

y of the musicians and vocalist provided by String Source. Choosing String Source was one of the best decisions made to meet the joy and love of this once in a lifetime evening. Thank you !

er we got engaged, we ended up using not just them for our ceremony but the same venue we had seen them play in several times. Our wedding day quite literally wouldn’t have been what it was without them. They are responsible for memories of mine that now last a lifetime, and I couldn’t possibly thank them enough.

sional and so easy to work with. Choosing music was easy and their social media is a great way to find samples of their work. If anyone asks me about music for their ceremony, I do not hesitate to mention string source. 10/10!
