I would give 0 stars if I could. By far the WORST customer service I had throughout wedding planning. Initially getting rooms blocked was easy, but that was the only good experienc...
e I had. Brookelyn and Kourtney both went silent and did not answer calls or emails. Booking was a nightmare and online reservations were always a mess, online it would say there were no rooms left in my block (when there were many left) and my mother was yelled at on the phone by a man at the front desk telling her she could not book a room for my wedding. My fiancé and I had to drive 45 minutes to the hotel on THREE different occasions to try and get an answer, only for management to have left early and never respond. I would have cancelled the block if it wasn’t so late. In the room the bridal party was getting ready in, late check out was approved of in advance, but thirty minutes before we had to leave to get to the venue we were kicked out of the room and told our time was up. We had to gather everything in 10 minutes and move it to the grooms room. Truly the worst experience and I could not recommend it any less, save your time and money.
Where to begin... I loved working with Stoney Creek. The hotel is beautiful, both inside and out. Their venue rental was very reasonably priced as is, but they also included so man...
y extras that made the entire experience very enjoyable. As an out-of-town bride, I appreciated getting catering and bartending through them, as I didn't have to coordinate with those vendors at all! I also appreciated working with their events coordinator, Kaylie. She was very responsive and went out of her way to make my event exactly as I wanted it. Having our wedding at a hotel was also nice for our guests, as they were able to come and go as they pleased! Highly recommend to future brides!
Our guests loved this venue. It is close to restaurants and it was great having the wedding in the same place as everything. There was some confusion with the coordinator though t...
hat made the experience a little more stressful. But overall, this venue was great. With a great area for outdoor pictures.
We rented 2 suites to get ready for our wedding and the experience was wonderful. The staff was amazing and super sweet- They were willing to clean our rooms super early on the day...
of our wedding so the beds were made and the rooms were all fresh to get ready and take pictures in. They helped complete our whole wedding weekend.
The venue was fantastic and so beautiful. All the chairs, linens, and some center piece items are included in the rate. Matea, the wedding coordinator is amazing and made sure ever...
ything was totally perfect. Our day went off without a hitch and all of the hotel staff were super accommodating.
Stoney Creek made for the most perfect wedding day! Stoney Creek is ideal for anyone with a lot of out of town guests as it’s the perfect location with a beautiful hotel connected....
The staff at Stoney Creek was amazing and met all of our needs. They do so much of the work for you so you and your family can simply enjoy your big day. The ballroom was the perfect size for our wedding of 200 guests and the outdoor space made for stunning photos. Mataya the events coordinator was absolutely amazing to work with. She was friendly and helpful especially for ideas in things I wasn’t sure on as the bride. She responded quickly to any questions and concerns and her team was on top of it the day of! I got so many complements of how beautiful and perfect the day was thanks to the team at Stoney Creek. Our guests had an amazing overall wedding weekend experience. I highly recommend Mataya and the whole Stoney Creek team for your wedding!
This venue was stunning for the wedding and reception. The courtyard was perfect to host the wedding, and the ballroom was magnificent for the reception. The beauty and decor of ...
the hotel made it easy to decorate, and the guests gave nonstop compliments of the wedding's beauty. I also can't speak high enough praise for the accommodations! The hotel was wonderful to stay at, and the staff bent over backwards to make sure my day was beyond perfect! Shout out to Becca and her helpers for helping me have the most perfect wedding!
Stoney Creek and it's staff were the most pleasant, friendly, and accommodating group I have ever worked with. They went above and beyond for the venue, for ouexample guests, and ...
even being lenient with all of our timelines.
All of our guests raved about the hotel, decor, and staff.
The staff at Stoney Creek was more than accommodating. They bent over backwards to ensure that we had the best day possible. Our guests loved the venue for the reception, and those...
who stayed in the hotel for the weekend were not disappointed! Anyone getting married in the Kansas City area should definitely consider Stoney Creek!
We had a wonderful wedding with Stoney Creek. They met with me many times and were quick to respond to all of my questions. They did all the set-up and tear down. It was nice to br...
ing all the wedding things over earlier in the week to get them out of the house! The only glitch for us was the change of coordinators 3 times while we were planning but it was a smooth transition and each one was able to pick up right where we left off with no issues. Other than making me feel stressed it was not a problem at all. Our gift bags did not get handed out to everyone in our room block also but again a minor detail. Overall we are very pleased with Stoney Creek and had an amazing night!
This was the perfect setting for our wedding and reception. The staff was very professional and the venue was sharp and clean. Taylor went above and beyond in all the details. She ...
worked very hard to make sure there were not complications. So many of the guest complemented us on what a nice place we had chosen. If I had to do it all over a again, I would not change a thing. Taylor and SCI made our memories fabulous and will cherish them forever!
The Stoney Creek Inn was very easy to work with and were able to meet all my requests with ease. The venue was clean and well maintained. All of my vendors (flowers, linens, and ...
DJ) all commented on the ease of working with the Stoney Creek staff.
The only downfall was that we worked with three different venue coordinators in my 18 months of planning. I suppose this industry is a high turnover and burn out industry. However, I must say, each new coordinator picked up where the last one left off.
There was a small mistake on my final bill but as soon as I brought it to the Assistant Manager's attention....it was cleared up.
I highly recommend the Stoney Creek Inn.
Everything was great for our reception! The only thing I would say is make sure you're aware that the catering prices can change. We booked the room a year before the wedding, so t...
he prices had increased by the time of our wedding. It is also nice that they do everything for you. You'll pay more, but it's nice to not have to worry about setting up chairs, etc.
This place was very nice but it seemed as if they were trying to make money in any little place they could. 20% service charge and 9% sales tax. Tax in Moline, IL is 7.5%. I am pre...
tty sure a lot of places do this as well, but they also up-charged the price of catering by half.
This hotel is very uniques and nice. I would only recommend it if you want something different. Otherwise it is not worth the expense!
This was a perfect location for our winter wedding! The Stoney Creek is located right off the interstate so it was easy for our out of town guests to find, and it was cozy and welc...
oming when they arrived! Most of our guests stayed the night and received an affordable room rate. The staff and event planner met with us numerous times before the wedding to discuss the details. They were always courteous and helpful. We had the ceremony and reception at the Stoney Creek, which was affordable and convenient. The staff took care of all set-up, take-down, cake cutting, dance floor, and even setting up extra snack food in the evening with no extra charge. The staff checked in with us throughout the planning process and during the wedding to make sure we were satisfied. We felt confident with their business when planning for the wedding and had a very memorable day.We highly recommend The Stoney Creek Inn.
Although I did not organize the rehearsal dinner myself, I do know that the food we had picked out was delicious and everyone who attended the rehearsal dinner thought so as well. ...
The staff were professional and the setup was great. We probably had about 40 people there for the dinner and the room that was provided for us was the perfect size. Also, the location was perfect for any guests who attended the dinner that were also staying at the hotel since they didn't have to travel far. I'd definitely recommend this as a location for the rehearsal dinner.
We held the reception at Stoney Creek. My husband and I got to stay in a beautiful suite for free! We had a blast, would recommend to anyone!
This hotel has an outdoor, lodge kind of feel. It's decorated just like you are in the Northwoods, which made it a fun and different type of hotel for my out of town guests to visi...
t! The staff sets up and cleans up everything. I met with the wedding planner at the hotel a handful of times, told her what I wanted, and when I arrived to my reception, it was just how I had imagined it. Perfect!
