Very poor communication and lacks caring to make things right. A wedding is a very cherished event and when someone promises you something, especially photographing the special day and you receive very poorly edited images and poor quality, it really is disappointing. The memories from that day will just have to be that; memories. Another thing, she had the audacity to edit some photos nicely and put them on her online portfolio but we did not receive those images and ours were edited much worse.

t something I can re-do. The only photo of me with my family my brother's face is covered. All the photos of us walking down the aisle are taken so far away. The editing is inconsistent and unflattering - all our faces look pale white and washed out. Some photos are edited well, but most are not. The gallery is inconsistent and just looks like she used an app to edit and didn't correct where the app made them too bright/white. We brought some of the editing problems to her attention and she originally agreed to fix them. Then a week later informed us that she will not be doing any further editing of our photos. She cites that 'per the contract' the editing is up her judgement, even tho she agreed it was problematic. I recently went online to her portfolio, because there was a reason I hired her, I liked her work. Our photos do not reflect what she presents online. What I am SHOCKED to find is that she fixed the problems in editing and posted them to her portfolio, but we do not have these improved images! She is completely using our wedding to advertise, but is not willing to send us the better version of our own photos. I am shocked at the lack of care. She has now blocked my husband's phone number. Happy to remove the poor review if something is done to right the situation, that is truly what we want, we just want to be happy with our wedding photos.... I have never left a poor review, but this situation is unacceptable. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. She did not crop or straighten the horizon in photos, when asked about it she said this is 'extensive editing' but this is literally the bare minimum. She also has cars in the background of photos and said we would have to pay her to remove it. She blamed the venue for obstructions when it is the photographers responsibility to frame the photo. Just really disappointed and hope others don't experience the same. I even offered to edit the photos myself and she said it would cost me an additional $1500 to get the raw images. Posting images to show what I am talking about... there are side by side of what she shared online and what she sent to us.

However, after asking for revisions, communication rapidly deteriorated, with our requests often met with silence or delayed responses. We we're finally given by her a $1,500 invoice to get that RAW photos so we could edit ourselves and her response was that she would not make any changes to the lack of quality in editing. While Stephanie may have skill behind the lens, poor communication and customer service cast a shadow over the entire experience, cautioning future clients to proceed with care.
