This was an amazing venue for our wedding. It’s got everything, a large area for dinner and dancing, a bar area, multiple outdoor ceremony areas and a house that’s large enough for...
the best wedding party. Clem (owner) and his staff were on it the day of our wedding and made everything feel so smooth (we were actually ahead of schedule). We had a wonderful day and the process leading up to the wedding was seamless. If I had to give any negative feedback, it would just be that the cleanliness of the property could be slightly better. It is in the country, but the house could be a bit better cleaned/maintained. Overall, however, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking. All of our guests loved the area and it’s quiet, which feels more intimate. No street noise and Clem is very flexible with what’s allowed (we had fireworks and candles lit everywhere which a lot of venues do not allow). Also, I love how their open bar is structured. You pay per drink rather than per person which helps with budget. If they get a professional cleaning crew to really deep clean once a month and then just maintain properly in between deep cleanings, this venue would be perfect.
Beautiful venue! Big enough for a large wedding while still feeling intimate. Highly recommend using Oak Island as your ceremony spot. It's magical! Staying at the Cheret House als...
o made the wedding weekend more manageable. The staff are very friendly and accommodated our needs and those of our guests as well.
We had our wedding 11/23/24 and this was a dream venue for us. We love how private the property is and how much room there is for guests to enjoy. We booked the weekend package and...
the house was so convenient for our wedding party and parents to stay at. This way we didn't have to worry about anyone running late. The venue is gorgeous. I love having the 2 rooms. We did a wedding that catered to multiple interests so we used the lodge for dancing and drinking and the barn for games and conversation for those who wanted a quieter space to chat. This venue was perfect and fit all of our needs. Clem was so attentive and answered any questions we had right away. Their bar staff was outstanding. We also booked the on-site coordinator for our day of, set up, and clean up services and Rebekah was amazing! She and I have similar personalities and were on the same page the entire way. She listened to our vision and made the day run super smooth. To be able to fully enjoy the day without stress was a blessing. I highly recommend both Stein Farms and Everlasting Details to make sure your special day is complete!
The owner was very rude to us on our wedding date. To the point where I was in tears. I have tried so hard not to remember the experience I had with him and only the part of the go...
od times I had celebrating our special day with our family and friends.
We just got married at this venue and it was absolutely beautiful, it allows so much space for personalization and great spaces for the reception and ceremony we had. Clem made sur...
e we got everything we wanted out of the experience and we got so many compliments! We would defiantly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a very unique setting for their wedding.
This venue is INCREDIBLE! We were a Covid wedding and Stein farms did more than expected to help make our day everything we wanted and more. They had us pick a backup date before w...
e asked them, they put in new flooring to upgrade the cement to hardwood, they added a tent the day of due to rain without charging us...the list goes on. And the venue and grounds are breathtaking! From the barn to the lodge all the way down to the Willow Field and beautiful bridge to Oak Island. This venue and owners are and were everything we could’ve wanted and more! You have so many options here to have an outdoor ceremony/reception to all indoor. There’s a fire pit, bags area and a house to rent that is absolutely stunning. Thank you Stein Farms for everything! We can’t tell you our appreciation enough and I highly recommend this venue!
Let me start off by saying, DON’T PAY THE WHOLE AMOUNT UPFRONT! I wanted to get the large payment out of the way so I paid the whole amount over a year in advance. My bad. The...
same week that the country shut down I called to let the owner know the wedding was called off. We agreed that I would try to find a sublessor. Within days the country shut down and nobody was willing to lease the place. I had a friend place several ads on a Wisconsin wedding website on Facebook to at least try to find someone. With that being said, nobody took me up on a discounted offer. I reached out to the owner via a letter, and asked if I could get some kind of a refund. No response at all! Not a fan of anyone who can’t respond or show compassion.
Loved that we were able to create our dream wedding. They we amazing the venue was amazing no complaints
We had our wedding at Stein Farms on September 14th of this year. The venue is absolutely beautiful and there were so many things we loved about it. Everything had so much characte...
r and stands out from other venues such as the lodge, barn, Oak Island (ceremony location), wedding parlor, and the house we stayed in with our wedding party. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue was.
Clem was also very accommodating and made sure our guests felt welcomed. The reason I deducted a star, was for communication. At first, Clem was good at responding to emails, however, as time got closer to the wedding, we would have to send multiple emails or call/text him to receive a response. During and after the wedding weekend, the way he communicated with us could have been better. Specifically, around the alcohol use, we didn't appreciate how he approached us about a particular situation. After the wedding, Clem also never responded to our multiple attempts to contact him about a refund he said he would send us. Overall, if communication was better, this would easily be a 5 star review.
We LOVED Stein Farms! Clem, the owner, was so laid back and super nice! There are so many things to love about this place! They have several ceremony sites, we chose to get married...
atop the island across the bridge! It was a beautiful, perfect ceremony! At the top of the island, you can see the river below that encirlcles the island, such a beautiful view up there! The lodge (I call it the tavern because that's exactly what it used to be) and the barn right next door are perfect! We used the barn for our reception and the lodge was for bar service, dancing and we had a photo booth setup in there. Right outside both structures is a beautiful fountain with a beer garden! They also have a really neat fireplace area outside! With all of the in and outdoor options, people could spread out easily and enjoy themselves. My favorite part was the house you have the option of staying in for the weekend! Our whole bridal party stayed both nights and we had a super fun time! There is an indoor pool and hot tub too! Plenty of rooms, think it sleeps 20! A must see for yourself! So glad we found this place, everyone is still raving about how beautiful it was and how much fun they had!
Excellent venue with so many possibilities. Clem and Rebekah along with their crew worked so hard to ensure we had a perfect wedding, even with showers. The house on the property i...
