From the very beginning, Yulianna was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. I had so many questions, and she always responded quickly wit...
h detailed and thoughtful answers that made everything so much easier.
The ceremony itself was everything we had hoped for and more. Msgr. Kosanke delivered a beautiful service that felt personal and meaningful, and the music throughout was absolutely gorgeous.
St. Anne’s is such a breathtakingly beautiful church, and it perfectly accommodated our large wedding party. Standing in such a stunning space and saying “I Do” was without a doubt my favorite part of the entire day.
We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here—it truly made our day unforgettable!
We had a great experience working with Ste. Anne's for our big day! The church is stunning, and it's conveniently located downtown. Our parents were married here, which made it ext...
ra special to us. We met our officiant, Msgr. Kosanke, just a day before the wedding and he did an excellent job with the ceremony.
We were drawn to the Basilica of Ste. Anne because of its history and beauty and were not disappointed. If you are looking for a "dramatic" church venue with a long aisle, the Basi...
lica is perfect.
Our event coordinator changed partway through our engagement, but this did not affect how the day went. Yuliana was professional, patient, and very helpful.
The church's day-of coordinator, Gabriela was also professional, but not very patient with members of our families, such as my wheelchair-bound grandfather and 4-year old niece. She tried rushing us out of the church 15 minutes before our contracted end-time which put undue stress on what was otherwise a perfect ceremony.
The presiding deacon was excellent! Even though I (the bride) did not meet him until 5 minutes before the ceremony, he had a great personality and was welcoming to everyone.
Some of the logistics may not be ideal for everyone, such as very limited parking and not having the rehearsal schedule until two months before the wedding. There is a small room that the bride can hide in while waiting for the ceremony to start, but there is no "getting ready room." We also received some mixed information between the event coordinator and the day-of coordinator, so I'd advise getting everything in writing.
Overall, I would recommend the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Détroit as we were very happy with the experience for the most part.
A truly beautiful church. The priest celebrant ( Father John) was exceptional . The music was wonderful. We couldn’t be more pleased

ved in the planning did an outstanding job.
We loved having our ceremony at Ste. Anne's. We had our own priest that we wanted to marry us and they were off the bat very accommodating to that. Yuliana and Norma helped us with...
all the marriage certificate, readings, and rehearsal stuff. Everything ran so smoothly because of their help! The church itself was a beautiful venue and so many of our guests (even those who are not practicing Catholics) had so many great things to say about the venue and the mass. It was a beautiful marriage celebration and we are so happy that we had it at Ste. Anne's!
The Ste. Anne team - Yiuliana, Fr. John & Norma - were wonderful and warm from marriage preparation to wedding day. I was impressed by their use of online tools like Google Forms t...
o help make the planning process easier for couples. They were communicative and organized. Most importantly, they wanted our marriage ceremony to be meaningful for us and took steps to ensure that. I encourage others who are interested in a Catholic wedding to consider Ste. Anne for both its beauty and wonderful community!
We chose Ste Anne’s because of its stunning architecture and natural beauty. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff like Kirsten, Fr John, and Norma were incredible. The...
y were all helpful in the planning process, especially since only my husband is Catholic, and welcomed us into the Ste Anne’s family. Highly recommend.

er John, gave such a personal and touching homily. Norma, our church coordinator, was kind, warm, and hilarious. Loved our experience at St. Anne and would highly recommend.
My fiance and i had an amazing experience!! We picked this church because we wanted to be downtown but we also loved the history of it. As soon as we walked in the first time, we b...
oth instantly said we could picture ourselves getting married here. Everything went so smoothly and the whole staff responded quickly to questions and were amazing to work with. Kristen was very knowledgeable and great as well as Norma who did our rehearsal and was there day of. She gave me the perfect pep talk before i headed down the aisle. Joseph Moss, the music director, was amazing with a great singing voice as well. Highly recommend getting married at Ste. Annes!!
The church was beautiful and the help was top tier. I would recommend them to anyone I know. The only thing that stunk was there was construction so front of the church pics couldn...
’t grasp the whole beauty of the church, but this did not ruin the day or deter pics at all. 10/10 would recommend and our rehearsal and marriage day help was great. Neither of us had been married before so we were nervous and def made mistakes along the way. They helped us figure it out and not look like dummies in the process. Thanks so much!
Newlyweds here! Aug 2023! This place was WONDERFUL 10/10. We are both from Michigan (Catholic bride and Christian groom) who moved to Los Angeles in 2020, and after getting engage...
d, we wanted to have a wedding ceremony in Detroit closer to family/guests. Like many newly engaged couples, we did not know where to start besides website hunting and cold calling different churches. Ste. Anne's was immediately welcoming, organized, and structured all the way from their website to their phone calls and planning process. Ask for Kristen she is THE BEST
The church is absolutely stunning! The pictures we had were amazing but that's not the reason for our review. The staff were a huge help, we had trouble getting our marriage file t...
o the church as we are are not from Detroit and the staff went above and beyond to get things moving and make sure we had a great day. Kristen and Yuliana were amazing throughout the process!
Beautiful venue and really helped us with making sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. This was especially appreciated as we were planning the wedding from NC.
Ste. Anne is an incredible venue to host your wedding ceremony. We not only were amazed by the beauty of the Church but by every individual that we worked with. Everyone was so kin...
d, supportive, and flexible. The marriage preparation was well organized and helped us to prepare in a beautiful way. Fr. Ryan is AMAZING! He gave the most beautiful homily and our guests raved about him. We had many people that are now going to attend Mass at Ste. Anne because of him and the beauty of the Church.
Rachel was our day of coordinator and was so helpful. She had everything super organized so that I didn't have to worry about a thing!
Our wedding felt like a royal wedding with the amazing organist, gorgeous Church, and genuine Priest. It was every dream come true!
Ste. Anne is a beautiful historic church that held sentimental value in my heart as it was the church my parents were married in over 35 years ago. I was so happy to be married the...
re - however, the ladies that run the weddings at Ste. Anne were not the best. Most times I felt that any question I asked I was bothering them and that they did not want to deal with me. My husband and I did six months of marriage prep but at the end, no one collected anything we had worked hard to get done. In one email I was addressed as "Queen" which I took as very rude due to the fact that I was simply asking questions since I have never been married before and did not know how this process worked. I was a very anxious and nervous bride and these ladies did nothing to make me feel better. There were many times they emailed me with wrong names and dates and they lost my baptism/communion/confirmation certificates twice and offered no help to get that information after losing it. It got to a point where I wondered if we would even be remembered that our wedding was happening.
The priest - Fr. Ryan was amazing! He was as helpful as could be - unfortunately, he was unable to marry us due to a mission trip but he found Deacon Drew to do so which was extremely helpful and Deacon Drew did a fantastic job. Overall, the day went well and I was very happy but the process felt very exhausting and stressful.
