Stag and Lily

he most organized person I’ve ever met and she made the planning process so easy. I felt prepared for everything because of all of the planning documents she provided. We had rain on our wedding day and Nicole was able to implement a rain plan that worked so well I did not I feel like I missed out on anything due to the weather. It was so nice to be able to enjoy my day, knowing everything was taken care of. I would work with Nicole again in a heartbeat and I hope I get the opportunity in the future.

d us to all the right vendors, helped us hone in on what we needed to prioritize in planning, and was an extremely calming source of advice during what could have been an otherwise hectic process. On the day of our wedding, we were able to completely relax and enjoy celebrating the beginning of our new life together without having to worry about a single thing. Nicole and her team made sure that everything went off without a single hitch, and we are so thankful that Stag & Lily made our day perfect!

have every detail touched on and covered — from ceiling to floor and across all vendors everything was exactly how I envisioned. We had several months of planning and phone calls and at the very end, I think Nicole knew more about my wedding than I did. So extremely professional and my wedding ran flawlessly. Everyone kept telling me that the wedding may not be perfect and to just go with the flow, so I went in with that mindset, but Nicole absolutely killed it and it was perfect. Everything went exactly as planned.

agement and Coordination and it was literally the best money I spent for our wedding. We already knew mostly what we wanted and already had a vision for our day, we just needed someone to help us bring that vision to light and coordinate day of. Boy did I underestimate the amount of work and planning that was going to be necessary and how badly I needed Nicole! She was like a lighthouse on a stormy night; she kept me focused and guided me straight to where I needed to go. We spoke for about an hour early in the planning process to get to know each other and went over every aspect that I already had planned or had an idea of what I wanted. She then directed me to my personal planning page on her website that included a very daunting amount of spreadsheets but boy were those spreadsheets useful! Nicole’s spreadsheets are AMAZING and a Godsend! I slowly started chipping away filling out everything from “what if this happens on wedding day, how would you like me to proceed?”, to seating charts, to decor inventory. By the time the 3 month mark hit I had my spreadsheets filled out as best as I could and Nicole really guided me into home base. She took over communication with vendors, built us a custom timeline (that was like GOLD on wedding day), arrived at our venue and managed our day like a BOSS, and then stayed until after 1 am to pack everything up and load all of our personal decor. At one point on wedding day, the 2 flower girls got a little rambunctious waiting for their moment and one of them ripped their dress, literally front and center. Of course it had to happen about 20 minutes before we were supposed to walk down the aisle and Nicole rushed in with laser beam focus, quickly patched up the dress so no one would know and buzzed right out and back to her task at hand, just as quickly as she had shown up. Little moments like that truly show how prepared and experienced she was/is. Nicole and her team really took the stress out of wedding day and I trusted her 1 million %. From our first venue walk thru, to every phone call, text message, and email, she was nothing but friendly, professional, and a wealth of knowledge. To see her interact with all of our vendors and see the relationships that she has built with all of them over the years is a true testament to just how amazing she is at her job. Everyone seemed to trust and respect her and all of my vendors were genuinely happy to know that I had chosen Stag and Lily as my coordination team. If you’re thinking about hiring a team to help or trying to figure out if you even need a team, the answer is YES, you need a team and Stag and Lily Event Company will not disappoint.

our lives! The attention to detail Nicole puts into her clients is unmatched. I honestly could not have imagined our day without her! After we booked our day with Stag and Lily- one thing we noticed going forward was the reaction of our other vendors when we told them Nicole would be representing us- her experience, professionalism and detail speak for themselves! Her open and honest communication makes for such an easy and fun experience. Nicole thinks of everything, really everything! Our day went on without one issue! The planning process of getting to know one another made us look forward to our wedding even more! Both of our parents were beyond thankful for the work Nicole and her team did for our special day.

e handled everything leading up to our wedding day - like coordinating all vendors, going over vendor contracts, setting up a day-of timeline, and more. Everything happened seamlessly! She made it so we could literally just worry about having fun :) Hire them and make your life easier!!!

attentive and unhelpful, we had to part ways. My first call with Nicole, every concern I had about finding the right planner melted away. Not only is Nicole insanely organized (her planning tools are unbelievably impressive, and cover topics most people would never think of on their own) but she is incredibly kind, down to earth, and acts as a true partner throughout the planning process. Nicole is so committed to her clients that she didn’t even take off from coordinating our wedding when she had her baby this spring!! All in all, Nicole was an amazing resource, a wonderful friend, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. There was never a time I felt I couldn’t reach out to her with a silly question or to vent about a concern-she was always there. I’m so grateful for everything she did for me and my husband, before during and after the process-hiring Nicole will be the best decision you make when planning your wedding!!

a huge part of this. She was great to work with and I would definitely recommend her!

nage the details of our wedding day. We were provided excellent organizational tools and tips, which helped keep us on task and as stress-free as possible. Our wedding day was flawless - Stag and Lily brought our vision to life perfectly, kept everyone in line and on time, and were so sweet and professional all day long. It was amazing to walk into both our ceremony and reception and see the result of months of planning, executed to absolute perfection. Not a single detail was overlooked, and we received compliment after compliment about the beautiful atmosphere. Thanks so much, Nicole and team!

o worry about anything and could enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. She is also a lovely person to work with — she became part of the family.

organized and on top of it that we could be lazy - she made everything a breeze. She got us and what we wanted immediately from the day we met through the last dance. My mom even joked that during the wedding, whenever she would think, ‘oh, I need to find Nicole,’ there she would appear next to her! She literally has a 6th sense for what everyone needs, and always delivers. Hire her!

sy going personality. Nicole helped us stay focused as our summer wedding drew near with important task reminders and had great vendor recommendations throughout the planning process. Finally, Nicole is a master of creating and sticking to timelines. If you're type A like me, Nicole is your gal! Thank you for taking all the stress away so we could soak in the day with our nearest and dearest. Make sure to book her quickly! M & J

dibly responsive and professional which made our wedding planning process so smooth. She listened well to what we wanted and to understood our vision. Our wedding day felt flawless thanks to her being on top of absolutely everything! I'm so thankful to have worked with Stag & Lily. Organized, professional, pro-active, and of course so kind.

without her and her team. She asked us in the beginning what was most important to us, truly heard what we said, and kept us on track to achieve exactly that. She helped us find and secure vendors that fit our budget and aesthetic and handled communications and coordinating with them (and us!) expertly. Her attention to detail can’t be matched, and neither can her ability to ensure those details fulfill the larger vision. As just one example, we heard from a guest afterwards that a member of the Stag and Lily team helped to ensure our reception maintained the full benefits of the private event space we reserved even though the outdoor space wasn’t fully ours. Standing outside between our private event space and where other members of the public might spill over, the Stag and Lily team ensured our wedding got the full private event treatment (thanks, Matt!). Having fully enjoyed our big day almost entirely because of Nicole, our only regret is not having hired her for full planning services!

s to plan the day to be exactly what we wanted, including a few things that we wanted done differently than a standard wedding. On the day-of, everything was so organized and Nicole was so familiar with exactly what we wanted and needed that we didn't have to make any new decisions or deal with any new stress - she and her team had it totally under control and we just went with the flow and enjoyed ourselves. We loved working with Nicole, and sincerely cannot imagine having done the wedding without her.

Shirley's Vineyard) preferred list because she is outstanding and made my wedding day absolutely perfect!! Nicole handled my day of coordination (she even provided feedback for vendor recommendations too since I am not from Richmond) and everything about my wedding went stellar. Her documentation, responsiveness, patience (I am a Program Mgr and I ask a TON of questions/like to plan), detailed timeline, attention to details, ability to plan so ceremony and reception flow seamlessly, decor plans and setup (it literally was perfect), etc. are just a few of the many reasons why Nicole and her team (Danielle) were magnificent! She addressed things that I had forgotten or didn't fully think through. I even had a dress mishap right after first look and her team fixed it no time, as well as handled everything with such poise and continuously checked in with me the entire reception. Her follow ups with vendors starting 60 days out were also helpful and always took time to answer my emails and calls (needless to say our planning meetings went long too!) so attentively and promptly, I am actually sad I won't get to work with her anymore and absolutely 110% recommend her for planning services!!! MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!

officiate close behind. Danielle was aware of this and made sure all of the guests were seated and the bridal party was lined up by exactly 4:00 p.m. She was professional and yet very friendly and fun to work with. She was totally focused and calm amongst the chaos of the moments before the beginning of the processional. As a fellow wedding professional, I highly recommend this planner.

away from Richmond while planning our wedding and we therefore needed a flexible planner to help us in person and over the phone. We had countless meetings with Nicole over our 2 year planning period and she truly helped to bring our vision to life. While planning, she helped us to choose a lot of our vendors for the wedding. Her connections to the wedding community were priceless and helped to make our day extra special. During our wedding, Nicole and her team worked tirelessly all day to make sure that the day ran seamlessly. My family and I had no worries or responsibilities the day of the wedding because Nicole and her team were so professional. We truly could not have found a more accommodating or helpful wedding planner and coordinator than Nicole at Stag & Lily.

e true, but coming home for a wedding would have been so easy. The moment we chose North Point Plantation for the wedding venue and were introduced to Nicole with Stag & Lilly, she put me right at ease by saying "don't you worry, we can do this". And from that day on, she was there for me. Answering every question, responding to emails very quickly, and even set up phone meetings along the way to stay up-to-date with planning. We added Stag & Lilly member Danielle to the team along the way and she was my wedding day coordinator. I enjoyed my daughter's wedding day from beginning to end, and if anything "happened", Danielle handled it and I never knew! I would highly recommend Stag & Lilly Event Company to anyone wanting your wedding planning experience to be professional, personal and downright helpful! ents we got about our wedding was how seamless the transitions were from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Hour to the Reception Hall. Nicole ensured that anything we needed was taken care of before our big day, during our big day, and even the breakdown of everything after the reception ended. We didn't have to worry about anything.

annot speak highly enough of her talent and professionalism.

y the process. Stag & Lily single handedly made my wedding vision come to life. From the first week of my engagement, it was clear that Nicole was my wedding planner, her quickness to respond, organization and ability to be excited about my vision but also keep me on track made her the perfect fit for us. I was not sure what type of wedding planning services I wanted because I knew that I was busy but that I also wanted to be involved, she gave me all of this and more. I am seriously amazed that my wedding dreams were able to become a reality and Nicole made it so much fun and coached me through any stress! I could not have done it without her.

I could ever have expected. I highly and happily recommend their services.

mpressed with how organized she was in helping me plan. She was always available if I had a question and so efficient. She handled everything the day of and executed my decor vision precisely! ute the wedding of our dreams. We absolutely recommend her services - you will not regret it!

absolutely amazing!!

e happen and the 'mood' of the day. It was if we already knew each other. She completely exceeded expections! She was a huge calming factor as we began to get more stressed, had great communications, was responsive and I just can't say enough about how prepared she had us! SOOO thankful we found her and grateful she was part of our day!

er connections in the wedding market are invaluable. Nicole had great ideas, but was also ready to roll with ideas that my daughter had already decided to implement. She was able to help bring all her thoughts into a cohesive plan. She was incredibly well organized, communicated clearly, and was easy to reach by phone, text or email. She talked me off a cliff when a potential crisis with another vendor arose. Fortunately, the crisis was avoided, but I was confident Nicole would have handled it well if it had. Nicole and her staff were on top of every detail on the wedding day at both the church and the reception venue - even handled some glitches at our reception venue that I was not aware of until everything was over. The crew was also pleasant and fun. Thanks Nicole and team for helping us have a wonderfully fun day of celebrating our daughter's wedding.

tails and helped us have a stress-free and easy weekend. Responsive, professional, and kind!

and she had great connections and ideas when it came to vendors. She got everything out and like I wanted for my wedding decor, and she was available to help every step of the way as I planned and as the weeks wound down, even though I had paid for the lowest amount of assistant (day-of package)! My wedding day was everything I wanted it to be, and if anything went wrong, it was never known to me- any bride's dream!

fe our ideas but she helped make our day better than I could have imagine. Thank you Nicole for all the advice and support leading up to our wedding. Everything went off so smoothly, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner! Thank you Nicole!

were all amazing and price-conscious. She is firm with vendors if need be, but always upbeat and calm. Our wedding was a dream come true! Hire her and listen to her advice from her years of experience.

ht our vision, implemented our style, and made sure that OUR priorities were experienced. Nicole cares about your family, your details, and exceptional service! We could not have pulled off our boho, winter wedding without her & her amazing team!! Our dreams came true that day. And Nicole was at the helm, making it all happen EXACTLY how we dreamt. Scratch that: It was BETTER than we could have dreamt. Stop debating, she's worth it & the real deal.

g wedding planning was invaluable. Our day went absolutely seamlessly - Nicole took care of any issues that arose during the wedding day without us even knowing about it until the next day. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

re so glad we did. She thought of everything and everything was perfect and ran so smoothly!

lity to relax and trust that she would get the job done. Which she surely delivered, the day of the wedding everything ran smoothly and if there were any problems or changes I did not notice one bit. My day was absolutely perfect and I could not have done it without Stag && Lily!

and easiest decision we made. From our first meeting with Nicole, we knew she had our best interest in mind. What a joy it was to be able to enjoy the wedding day with our daughter knowing that all of the details, big and small, were being taken care of by Stag & Lily. Everything turned out beautiful. We were not disappointed. Thank you, Nicole!

eting and countless questions via phone and text, she always responded right away and went above and beyond. She made everything so easy and simple for us in the planning process. For the wedding day, she and her assistants could not have done a better job! Everything went so smoothly and it truly was the best day of ever :) Definitely would recommend!

ors or helpful answers to any questions we had. She was extremely organized and positive and helped me to feel calm and taken care of on our special day. I would definitely recommend Stag & Lily if you are looking for expert assistance on one of the best and most important days of your life!

h all of her last minute details and co-ordination. She was definitely an expense worth budgeting for our special day!

ion for helping people's wedding dreams come true shines through everything she does- giving advice, handling vendors, lending a hand with practically anything you ask, and organizing a flawless day! Her and her team did a beyond fabulous job decorating and tending to my guests' (and myself) needs. Stag & Lily was by far my most valuable vendor and first choice when beginning to plan my dream wedding. She is courtesy and realistic when helping you figure out a budget and then helping you EVERY step of the way with vendors, decor, & organization. I have described Nicole and her team as a "well oiled machine" and I still stand by that phrase and would recommend Stag & Lily to brides and families who are looking for a team to create that easy going, stress fee and enjoyable day you AND your family deserve! I honestly couldn't have imagined my day without her and her team- completely stress free. All thanks to Stag & Lily- we are forever grateful!

day or coordinator, however Nicole was available and more than willing to participate in other activities such as picking out invitations months before the wedding. She has many resource and tricks to help save a dollar or two. Her fun and bubbly personality make it easy to work with her and stress free. She has impeccable organization skills as well. She is very flexible as well. My husband changed his mind on several small details on the day of the wedding. Nicole took it in stride and handled all communication and details. I also received compliments from my photographer and hair stylist that it was great to working with Nicole and having her coordinate timelines and communication. I would highly recommend that you have a wedding planner and if I had to do it over again I would choose Stag and Lily.

that I could. Once we met with Nicole we felt very good as she was very detail-oriented, and asked all the right questions. She did her best to understand what our needs would be and how to best to accommodate them. She did a great job putting our minds at ease over the months leading up to our wedding. In the end we had a very smooth and worry free big day, just as we had hoped, and my wife's stress level was much much lower in the months leading up to and most importantly on the big day.
