This venue exceeded every expectation we had. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. The outdoor ceremony space is stunning, with the mountains creating the most picturesque backdrop imaginable. It honestly looks like something out of a magazine. Then, when you step inside, you are greeted by soaring ceilings and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. It creates such a warm, elegant atmosphere and truly brings the beauty of the outdoors inside. What truly sets this venue apart, though, is the people. Every single member of the staff was exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day as perfect as possible. Throughout the entire day, they checked in on our family, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept everything running so smoothly that we were able to simply enjoy the celebration instead of worrying about logistics. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brian, John, Mary, and Loree. They are the definition of true professionals. Their experience, attention to detail, and calm, reassuring presence made such a difference throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself. They genuinely care about every couple and every family they work with, and it shows in everything they do. The staff as a whole deserves endless praise. They were attentive without ever being intrusive and handled everything with such grace and efficiency. You could tell that everyone genuinely loved what they were doing and took pride in creating an unforgettable experience. They truly went above and beyond in every possible way. The food was another highlight of the evening. Lavender Dreams did an outstanding job catering the wedding. Every meal was beautifully presented, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We heard so many compliments from our guests throughout the night about how incredible the food was. Everything was prepared perfectly, full of flavor, and served with such care and professionalism. Lavender Dreams exceeded every expectation and played a huge role in making the reception such a success. Looking around during the reception and seeing our family and friends enjoying themselves in such a beautiful setting was something we will never forget. Every detail came together perfectly. From the breathtaking scenery to the elegant reception space, the incredible food, and the exceptional staff, every piece contributed to making the evening truly magical. Our son and daughter-in-law had the wedding of their dreams, and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate such an important milestone. We will cherish these memories forever, and we are so grateful to everyone who made them possible. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further. This place is truly something special. The beauty of the property alone is enough to make you fall in love, but it is the amazing people behind it who make it extraordinary. Brian, Loree, and their entire team are simply the best. e basics of a big, traditional wedding without the premium price tag we were seeing elsewhere. We found exactly that at Springfield Manor, and had the perfect wedding. A few things we loved in particular: The setting — it's gorgeous, both inside and outside, with plenty of space for guests to spread out depending on the weather. Our 120 guests had a wonderful time, and we heard from many of them afterward that it was a beautiful wedding with great food. No hidden add-ons or fees. The price they quoted us was the price we paid, and they guided us on how to make choices to stay within our budget — which felt like a huge plus. Great spaces to get ready in, with the option to stay at the inn overnight after the wedding — which we did, and loved. We'd recommend Springfield Manor without hesitation to anyone planning a wedding in the area.

The sweeping landscape gave us endless photo opportunities, and the outdoor ceremony space felt incredibly serene and romantic. The views of the Catoctin Mountains were especially stunning at sunset—absolutely magical and exactly what we had hoped for. Staff & Coordination The staff was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. From our earliest planning meetings to the final moments of the reception, the team made everything feel smooth and stress-free. They handled every detail quietly in the background so we could actually enjoy our day. Reception Experience The ballroom was beautifully set up, elegant without being overly formal. Our guests loved the blend of historic charm and modern touches. The food and service were exceptional—plates came out quickly, beautifully presented, and delicious. We received so many compliments afterward about both the venue and the overall experience. no matter the season, this is the venue for you. (But we do love fall there especially.) As a "Type-A" bride with no wedding planner, I always had a lot of logistical questions. Loree responded to emails very quickly and kindly. Brian, the provided wedding day line-up assistant, was just as amazing. We brought everything we needed—or so we thought, until strong gusts of wind started blowing over floral arrangements outside in the morning. Brian was so quick to grab extra weights that were lying around the venue and helped come up with a solution. Thank you, Loree and Brian, for making our day so special!

We worked closely with the venue assistant, Bryan, who was fantastic—patient, helpful, and always quick to address any questions or concerns before, during, and after our wedding. Having an in-house caterer was another major plus, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality and convenience. We had about 160 guests, and the space still felt comfortable and easy to navigate. Our wedding was in November during daylight savings, and the venue was very flexible in helping us adjust our timeline and guest flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Several of our vendors also commented on how easy the venue was to work with. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we’re so grateful we chose this location.

new Springfield Manor was the one after touring it with Brian. Not only is it one of the most beautiful locations, but its price is incredible for what you get compared to other venues. But probably the best part about using Springfield Manor as our wedding venue that make it unique and set it above other venues would be Brian and Loree! They are there for you from the very beginning and see the wedding through until the very end of the night! They really have it down to a science and were incredible through the entire process, guiding us through making decisions, promptly answering our questions, and Brian consistently checking in with us on our wedding day to make sure we were okay (like bringing us waters and making sure we ate)! Even in the very beginning, we couldn’t decide on a date, and Loree talked us through the pros and cons of different seasons and ultimately helped us decide on a day at the end of August - and it ended up being the most picturesque day with perfect weather!  The venue offers so much, from beautiful mountains, to open grass and lavender fields, and the amazing manor itself. It has sidewalks right up to the ceremony, which was a huge hit for our guests in wheelchairs (and heels)! It also has a gorgeous patio with a fountain and outdoor bar - perfect for cocktail hour! We also had three rooms for getting ready (two bridal suites and one groom’s lounge), and we had access to one of these rooms throughout the night! Even though the brewery/winery was open to the public since it was a Friday, we really could not tell at all! The ballroom is also gorgeous. The catering was amazing and their team also worked with us through the whole process. And BYOB was a huge plus!  So many guests told us it is the most beautiful wedding venue they have been to. I absolutely love Springfield Manor and keep hoping that another friend or family member uses it as a venue so that I can enjoy it as a guest!!!

ry spacious and fit 8 of us comfortably plus our hair and make up stylists. The ballroom set up for ceremony and reception is gorgeous. Brian, the owner runs that place like absolute clockwork. Every single event lined up with our timelines. Brian and his staff were so welcoming and hospitable to us & our guests and were so helpful with getting set up , showing people where to go, there really aren't enough words to express just how on point they were. All Bars were always stocked and were quickly getting out drinks and they were all made perfectly. We appreciated that as our guests did not have to wait long for drinks. Brian constantly made sure if my husband and I were okay, did we eat, Did we drink, did we need anything , etc...If we said no, he was back in 2 mins with a tray of appetizers for me and my husband and the rest of the bridal party. Brian's venue is the place to have any events if you want someone who will run things smoothly, promptly, and efficiently. Loree was an absolute wonder as well. She was so quick responding to any questions or inquiries we had. Loree and Brian are wonderful to work with, easy to get along with and whatever you tell them your expectations, they exceed in delivering. I could not recommend them enough. tures speak for themselves; it is a beautiful venue inside and out. The ballroom is large and plain- perfect for decorating to your liking. Brian and Loree, the "owners," were very courteous. We never met Loree but she was the "behind the scenes coordinator"- always easy to communicate with and very friendly. Brian gave us the tour and was there on our walk through and the big day. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. On our actual reception day, Brian was there the whole time until midnight. He was making sure everything ran smoothly, checking in on us, helping our vendors, and even ran out to get us more alcohol that we ran out of. So nice and SO helpful! Their required caterer did a good job and their other optional but recommended vendors all knew the space well and were fantastic. Our guests all enjoyed the space and the pictures are phenomenal. I would highly recommend this venue and working with Brian and Loree!

itting NC, so MD was getting a lot of residual rain. They had the inside and outside ceremony options set up and ready for whatever happened with the weather. They let me wait until 20 mins before ceremony start time to make the decision to be inside or out, and then Brian was literally outside with a leaf blower blowing water off the seats. They are extremely communicative, and the in-house caterer is amazing. People raved about the food at the wedding. Wish I could relive this night!

with Brian, I knew the venue was exactly what we had been searching for. From all of the questions in between to the day of, Brian and Loree were absolutely amazing! There was a little issue the day of our rehearsal with one of our vendors, and Brian pulled us away so that we could enjoy the weekend and have someone else deal with the issue. He met us at the end of the aisle with drinks and quickly pulled us into a private room to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks. It seriously couldn’t have been a more perfect day!

The catering team at Great American Caterers flawlessly executed food, beverage and service led by Jeanne in advance and Mary the day-of. Springfield Manor's preferred liquor vendor Gateway Liquors worked seamlessly with the rest of the vendors for a flawless experience. Lastly, we would be remiss not to mention how gracious and beyond over-the-top kind Brian was on the day of the wedding (and on the rehearsal). He was the glue that held everything together and anyone thinking of getting married at Springfield Manor, know that you are in great hands for your big day. it was incredible! We received multiple compliments on the beauty of the venue, the food, the overall layout of the ballroom, and the overall atmosphere at Springfield! Brian was amazing with making sure my husband and I knew how much time we had left until our ceremony and making sure we were hydrated and had plenty of snacks. I want to give a shoutout to Loree and Mary. Loree (Brian’s wife) was so prompt and detailed in her emails. We were able to access Springfield at an earlier time due to our ceremony start time (3PM). Loree answered all of our questions in a timely manner and took care of all of our requests! Mary was amazing too! We had a last minute cancellation and were able to have another guest fill the cancellation at a different table, she made sure the guest who was present at our wedding had their meal at the correct table for dinner. Overall I recommend Springfield to anyone who wants the overall experience at their wedding!

During the cocktail hour, there were several older people having trouble standing and were a little cold as people were coming in and out. The staff immediately provided chairs and blankets! The site is absolutely beautiful but the staff made it perfect.

Brian and Loree were amazing! They are very organized, detail-oriented, and calm during the chaos of wedding day. Brian was helping with everything, like making sure the guys’ boutonnières looked perfect, and his attention to detail helped make everything run smoothly. He kept everything on schedule and was very communicative with coordinating with all the vendors. We booked the ballroom and it was elegant, simple and lovely. You have to use their exclusive caterer, but they were also amazing. The food and service were top-notch. We served the venue’s lavender gin (they grow the lavender on site) and it was delicious. We also stayed at the historic inn for the wedding night and several of our close friends stayed there for the weekend. We received so many compliments on the inn keepers, the lovely venue and the excellent service. Springfield Manor was also much more reasonably priced than other venues we researched, so it was an excellent value. This is a beautiful, amazing wedding venue!

I can find to describe our experience is "perfect". The place is beautiful, charming, and elegant. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. It was a Thanksgiving weekend so the weather could have made things challenging (the weather turned out beautiful) but Brian was ready for any scenario, and we were comforted to know that we were ready for any possible weather conditions. We were able to get in the facilities early that day, Brian and his staff were relaxed and ready to support us and the manor was such a beautiful place to get ready for the ceremony. They worked so well with our minister, photographers, video guy, and DJ. The food and catering was seamless, and it was just obvious to us once again that they know what they are doing and are the best at it. We realize now that Brian was a critical part of the best day of both of our kids lives and I couldn't be happier that we chose Springfield. I would say if you want the perfect experience, then Springfield is your place. We loved every second of it!

After receiving negative feedback from guests and being aware of many issues, we addressed these concerns with Brian via email, but it did not feel like he made a genuine effort to follow up. To start with a few positives, the booking process was easy and Loree/Jeanne were always swift with responses. The venue itself is beautiful. At the wedding, a majority of the staff were friendly and we later received raving reviews about the bartenders- the BYOB aspect went very smoothly. We were very happy with the appetizers (mac n’ cheese bites, beef crostini, jumbo shrimp, and especially the petite crab cakes). However, a lot of these positives were overshadowed by major issues. The owners advertise a capacity of 299 people for this venue, but their team was clearly overwhelmed by our wedding with ~260 guests. We HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere if you have more than 200 guests. They messed up seating at multiple tables, took over an hour to serve entrees, cooked the steaks VERY inconsistently (some being charred until they were inedible), and ran out of kid meals because they served food to the wrong guests. We understand that hiccups at an event of this scale are inevitable, however we find it unacceptable that Brian/certain staff came off argumentative/impolite towards our guests during unfortunate situations that were not the guests’ fault (i.e. shortage of seats at tables, a missing meal for a child). Ultimately, we do not recommend this venue for larger weddings.
