Spring Lake Events

if I wanted to have them handle everything, including dropping off decor the night before, and have them set it up, they would do that as venue coordinators. I had seat covers that I wanted applied. Renty told me that they could help “if they had time”, that my bridesmaids would need to go out two at a time to put the seat covers on the day of the wedding. When requested, she did not want me to put them on at the rehearsal though the reception area does not have AC, and I feared for their makeup. Only after continuing to ask were we allowed to put the seat covers on the night before. Renty did not assist.   Mike told me people usually show up around 11 and music needed to end at 10, implying it was okay to be there from 11-10 as a party versus Renty stating we would go by the contract of 10 total hours including cleanup.  There are signs indicating there are no food or drinks in the bridal suite. Mike told me that that would not apply to me or my party. As you can expect now, Renty told me it did. It was not until I stated at the rehearsal that Mike and I had a verbal contact and I would need to eat there along with my party did she say “oh, we usually put tables in there for you to eat.” She then asked if I had said this because of the signs when she herself had told me I could not eat in the bridal suite at the final walkthrough due to not wanting her furniture to become dirty and the wedding they had the next day. Mind you, the reception area does not have AC, so the expectation was that I step into the heat with my bridal makeup to eat in the reception area with the groom’s suite two doors down.  Mike told me they have a kitchen the caterers use and neglected to tell me that there is to be no cooking on site. They do not have a stove or oven. I found out at the final walkthrough from Renty.  Knowing what I know now, I would not have chosen this venue. Renty did not make me feel as if she cared whether or not I had a good experience. Mike is a great salesman and very personable, but he was MIA after the contract was signed. It made the experience much more difficult than necessary, especially considering how many things need to be handled for a wedding.

Coming from out of town and having booked the venue before even seeing it was a little scary but we couldn’t be happier with our choice. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch place to celebrate their big day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

cent barn we were in awe of everything Spring Lake events had to offer. We soon found out that the owners Mike and Renty were extremely friendly and able to assist us in every single way possible. From helping set up decorations to allowing us to take photos on the lake in the canoe. Our wedding day was beautiful and we could not have asked for more. Every one that works with Spring Lake events from the cater to the DJ are all extremely friendly, responsible, organized, and professional. I would highly highly highly recommend Spring Lake events to any future bride and groom!
