About this vendor
About Us:
Spanish Hills Club is a premier wedding venue in Camarillo, California—where timeless elegance meets seriously stunning views.
We’re proud to be recognized with multiple awards, including California Wedding Day’s Best Indoor Venue (2023 & 2025), Best Country Club (2024), and WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Award. But what truly sets us apart? Our attention to detail, personalized approach, and creating a romantic, seamless experience our couples will never forget.
Facilities and Capacity:
The Grand Terrace Lawn is made for your “this is it” moment. Say your vows with the Spanish Villa and grand staircase behind you, or with the Topa Topa mountains and Santa Rosa Valley as your backdrop—either way, it’s a view. White chairs and a citrus water station are included for a fresh, welcoming start to your ceremony.
For cocktail hour, your guests transition to the Overlook Terrace—a garden aglow with the sorbet sunset (aka instant ambiance). Appointed with al fresco seating, cocktail tables, a custom bar, and butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, it’s the perfect mix of relaxed and elevated.
The reception is where your celebration really comes to life —and we’ve got two completely different vibes to match:
If you’re all about that elevated, editorial feel, our Camara Room brings the drama in the best way—think Spanish Mediterranean design, statement chandeliers, and 18 floor to ceiling windows. Paired with hardwood and white limestone flooring, it’s the perfect blend of timeless and modern. And with a 1am curfew you can go from heartfelt to hype in seconds.
More of an open-air romantic? Our Grand Lawn is straight-up magic. Dine under a canopy of twinkle lights, then dance beneath the starlit sky with your favorite people. It’s effortless, a little dreamy, and gives you that “this is so us” kind of moment.
From “I do” to last dance, every moment at Spanish Hills is designed to feel intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.

Spanish Hills Club gave me the wedding of my dreams! I wanted a venue that had gorgeous ceremony views, elegant architecture for photos, and food that guests actually enjoy. Spanis...
h Hills had it all, and it was for a reasonable price compared to other similar venues in California! From the beginning to the end, Christen and Jessica from the catering office were responsive and patient with my numerous questions about layouts, timelines, and napkin colors. It was really easy to work with them! The flexibility of this venue was also amazing. We were able to customize the specific wedding package to fit our needs, and we were able to ask for changes in the menu that reflected our tastes. Our guests RAVED about the delicious food and the views during the ceremony/cocktail hour. The staff and service were top notch—they even had one waiter following the bride/groom around with drinks and hors d’oeuvres to ensure that we got to enjoy our own food and drinks! I cannot recommend this venue enough. If beautiful nature views, gorgeous backdrops, and fancy food/service are what you’re looking for, then Spanish Hills is the venue for you.
The Spanish Hills Club created such a beautiful atmosphere for my wedding. The lawn was perfect for our ceremony and the space was nice and private.
My husband David and I would like to thank Danielle from Primrose and Petals for making our wedding absolutely magical. Our wedding was in March at the Spanish Hills Club in Camari...
llo. From the start, Danielle was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She truly listened to our vision and brought it to life in the most beautiful way.
The florals were everything we dreamed of and more. Every arrangement, bouquet, arch and floral touch was thoughtfully designed and perfectly executed. Walking into our ceremony and reception space took our breath away- it truly felt like a dream, and Danielle’s work played such a huge part in that.
She was absolutely a joy to work with, and we’re grateful for her talent, professionalism, and heart. We would DEFINETLY recommend Primrose and Petals to anyone looking for a florist who goes above and beyond to make your day unforgettable.
Our wedding at Spanish Hills was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The venue itself is stunning—everything from the picturesque views to the elegant interior made for an unf...
orgettable experience. The entire team made sure everything went off without a hitch, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how seamless and smooth the day was.
One of the highlights of the day was definitely the food. WOW! From the hors d'oeuvres to the dinner and drinks, everything was so delicious that our guests are still raving about it! In fact, we’ve had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Please extend our compliments to the chef and the entire catering team—they truly went above and beyond.
The staff at Spanish Hills was also outstanding. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and so helpful throughout the entire planning process. A special shout-out to Cate, who answered all of our questions and made sure every detail was perfect. She truly helped us feel at ease and ensured our day went off without a hitch.
We worked with Cate Parnin and the staff at Spanish Hills Club to have our wedding. It was a dream come true. Spanish Hills Club is an absolutely gorgeous venue with wonderful staf...
f at every level of the club.
From the very start, Cate worked with us to get the financials and details together in order for us to make this a reality. And throughout every step of the planning process, Cate was quick to respond, caring, and extremely detailed in her responses.
The venue has an indoor rain plan in the case of inclement weather, and while we didn't need to use it, we were thankful it was there.
We had our ceremony up against the northern mountains and the views were incredible. The indoor reception space is spacious and fitting for up to 150 or so people to occupy. They have many options to choose from, including a cappuccino bar, which our guests and us took full advantage of during the later parts of the evening.
We have no regrets in choosing Spanish Hills Club as our wedding venue. We will cherish these memories, photos, and videos forever and are so grateful to have worked with Spanish Hills to make our wedding dreams come true.
We got married in April 2024, and Spanish Hills Club was a dream come true. The venue is modern, luxurious, upscale, classic, and gives a Spanish villa vibe. This is exactly what I...
was looking for in a venue! We had less than 4 months to plan our wedding, and Claire, our contact at the venue, made remotely planning this destination wedding a breeze. She was so communicatative and helpful and was always quick to respond to my thousands of questions. Claire also was able to connect me with Rochelle from Above the Bar Events to be our wedding coordinator. WHAT A GODSEND! Rochelle made the day flow seamlessly and went above and beyond with making my wedding a reality. She made herself available to meet us when we flew down to the venue about a month prior to the wedding, and also was able to help me coordinate some decor that otherwise would not have been possible. THANK YOU so much for your amazing work! 10/10 would recommend Spanish Hills Club AND Rochelle from Above the Bar Events :)
I didn't know I had a dream venue until I saw Spanish Hills Club. My breath was completely taken away and I looked at my fiance at the time and said this is it, we're getting marri...
ed here! The sunset views, the black window arches, the exquisitely maintained outdoor setting - was everything we hoped for. Claire was fantastic since day 1 - she was thoughtful, accommodating and helped bring our vision to life. We are so thrilled to have gotten married at Spanish Hills Club and our families are still raving about how beautiful the location was. Oh and the food...from cocktail passed hors' d'oeuvres to main entrees to desserts...DELICIOUS. I'd hate to be gloating, but I'm pretty sure our wedding food was the best food we've had at any wedding. ;) Get married here - you won't regret it!
I'm so grateful my mother found Spanish Hills. I was about to give up on having a wedding and then this beautiful venue was discovered.
VENUE
I booked the venue in 2022 and then ...
they had some remodeling on the club side. As a bride you get nervous when a venue changes after you sign a contract but Claire was in communication every step of the way + got weekly updates through the clubs newsletters. And all the remodeling was worth it. The ceremony and reception space are so elegant and was fitting for the villa vibe we were going for. You can't go wrong with all the black accents which will match any color theme.
CATERING
Claire is a ROCKSTAR - and she's just a wonderful person. We asked her SO many questions throughout the process, she even reach out to a vendor to explain the liability insurance for me. She worked seamlessly with my wedding coordinator to accommodate food allergies, menu finalization and so much more. You can always count on her which was so wonderful to trust someone.
Additionally - the food & drinks were AMAZING!!! One thing with events is that the food & drink are what people remember most and Spanish Hills did not disappoint. We got so many compliments from guest saying how much they loved the food & how good the drinks were. I choose a signature drink "lemon drop" and it was probably the best I've ever had. Lastly, as a bride you don't always get to eat everything and I request the staff to make me a "to go box" for after the reception and they gladly accommodated so I could try everything. Oh and don't forget the appetizers at cocktail hour!!! They are to die for and are so filling.
VIEWS
The views are INCREDIBLE. Our wedding was in June so we had the perfect warm/cold ocean sun + clouds. Our guest were in awww of the views and took pictures overlooking the beautiful vista point. We also got sneak peaks of some photos and they are absolutely gorgeous. I cry every time I look at them.
I could not recommend Spanish Hills Club more for your wedding. In the CA market where things are skyrocketing for weddings you get your money's worth and so much confidence they will execute your day perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding as it was a DREAM because of the venue.
Claire Handville helped us with our wedding at the Spanish Hills Club in June 2023. She was so helpful, communicated very well and quickly responded to any questions we had. She wo...
rked around our schedules when planning meetings about the wedding and even set us up with an anniversary dinner one year later! I highly recommend working with Claire to plan your dream wedding. She’s sweet, professional, and helped make our day feel so special. The venue itself was GORGEOUS and the food and views were some of our favorite parts!
As the owner of Splashes of Time Photography (splashesoftime.com) I must say I love photographing weddings at the Spanish Hills Club. The venue is beautiful and their team is amazi...
ng. So many great photo locations. I highly recommend!
I can't thank the Spanish Hills Club team enough for making our wedding day a dream come true!! Claire specifically was amazing to work with and was willing to go to bat for me fro...
m the beginning.
At this venue, it is typical for the ceremony to be on the beautiful outdoor lawn and the reception to be in the ballroom. My husband and I love being outside and we never wanted to stop staring at the view so we had everything from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception all outside. This required the ceremony lawn to be flipped during the reception. I am so grateful to Spanish Hills and our wedding planners (Jamison & Tania Events) for organizing all the logistics and making that flip happen FAST. We knew it was not an easy ask to make this happen and they made it happen.
My 145 guests also told me how amazing the food was throughout the night and days after! I also noticed how everyone's plates had not one crumb. Everyone's plates were warm and presented beautifully.
Lastly, their communication was amazing, and it was super easy to keep everything moving until the big day. They truly made it a breeze from day one! The grounds are also so well taken care of and they continue to make renovations and upgrades to the property.
My only piece of feedback is that I wish there was a bridal suite available to get ready at vs arriving 2 hours before. I ended up being a little behind on time due to some traffic and it overwhelmed me a bit heading to the venue. Having a location for the bride and her party would make for a much more seamless experience.
I can not say enough good things about Spanish Hills Club. It was the first venue on our list of visits and it quickly became our #1 choice. We loved getting married on their beaut...
iful lawn overlooking the mountains and the Camara room for the reception inside was just perfect. Claire, their catering manager, is the best. So helpful and communicative-our planner at Sara Judith Events raved about working with her too during the whole process.
We really thought that you got so much value in their catering packages too. They were amazing accommodating everything and worked with us to make our day everything we wanted it to be. We love Spanish Hills!
If you're planning a wedding in SoCal, I HIGHLY recommend you plan it at Spanish Hills Club. Claire was so responsive and helpful, the views are stunning (especially at magic hour,...
which was during our cocktail hour thanks to Claire's foresight), and our guests raved about the food for weeks after the wedding. As far as value-for-money goes, you can't beat SHC.
Bella Vita Events (Event Planners based in Los Angeles) had the chance to work at the Spanish Hills Country Club for over 16 years. We always love working there and we are so grate...
ful for our partnership. Interacting with Christen & Claire is always a pleasure. If you are looking for a great venue in which you will get great value and amazing views, the Spanish Hills Country Club is the spot! - BELLA VITA EVENTS
I cannot say enough good things about this venue. All of my guest kept complimenting how beautiful the setting was for our ceremony and the reception hall was absolutely beautiful....
We didn’t need a ton of additional decorations because of how beautiful everything was.
Communication:
Claire was wonderful to work with, she guided us through the process from start to finish and was always available when we had questions or changes that needed to be made to the event. She always advised us of what needed to happen by when so we had a clear timeline to make decisions so our day went perfectly.
Vendors:
Spanish Hills provided us with a wonderful vendor list and everyone we worked with was absolutely amazing. The DJ from Bouquet Sound (Matt Nash), our Photo Booth attendant Nelson (also Bouquet Sound), and our day of Coordinator Cari from All Occasions Event Planning made sure our day went exactly how we imagined it would. They knew the venue and knew the space, and were true experts. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and they always made sure to check in on us during the day and let us know what would be happening next. I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with for our wedding.
Food:
Sometimes food at weddings can be a bit lack luster, but not at Spanish Hills. All of our guests raved about the food and the service. We opted for a carving station which was the highlight for the buffet and a real stand out. In addition, there was a cappuccino station with an attendant who did foam art. It was truly an amazing experience for us and our guests.
Overall, it was the experience that stood out to us at the end of the day. Everyone worked together to provide us with a memory that will last forever. We couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience and it was all thanks to the team at Spanish Hills and their suggested vendors.
100/10
I had a wonderful experience with Spanish Hills! I had a summer wedding this June and the weather was great! The entire process was very smooth. The constant communication was amaz...
ing and I always felt attended to. I worked directly with Claire and Callie. They both made sure to always answer my questions promptly and made all efforts to make my experience enjoyable. They helped make my vision come to life! Day of the staff was great and everything ran very smoothly! The only flaw was that the dinner food was cold for myself and my guests, so I would just ask to make sure it is being warmed well ahead of serving time to avoid this. Everything I had asked for was executed perfectly! The appetizers were also a HIT! Thank you Claire & Callie again (:
First and foremost this place is beautiful. The black arched windows overlooking the lights and the city were right up our alley. Originally our ceremony was to be outside but with...
recent weather conditions we brought it indoors. The contingency plan was just as beautiful. They closed off the areas with curtains and the divider wall to make it feel more intimate. We worked mostly with Clare who was so sweet and responsive. Due to staffing changes we bounced around until finally working with Christin. We opted for a Friday wedding, overall with just under 100 guests it was 18K. There were some hiccups, to be expected but we felt comfortable reaching out for help when we didn't understand something. Christin was great, jumping in on our rehearsal when we didn't have our coordinator with us. I would recommend this location, our guest raved about how beautiful it was and how great the food was. There was a bit of a hiccup with the vegan plates not being correct but the waitstaff fixed it immediately. Overall great experience, only thing I would recommend is over invite, we ended up paying for a lot of drop offs and no shows.
The best venue EVER. We are almost a month out and we still have people telling us how amazing the venue was. It is so different from other places, it has a newly renovated indoor ...
"ballroom" and the outside has an overlook of the hills. Truly incredible. We have absolutely no regrets about this venue and can only keep raving about it and recommending it to other couples. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating and I have nothing bad to say about my entire experience working with everyone here. 11/10 recommend!
My wife and I were looking for a venue back in 2019 for our upcoming 2022 wedding. Spanish hills seemed like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered because when we saw the interior ...
and ball room we said WOW! The ceremony spaces were so beautiful and we got to chose from 2 different areas. The food was probably my favorite part. We chose to go with a buffet style dinner with a carving station for the trip tip and let me tell you it was delicious. Our guests kept coming for seconds. The staff was impeccable. They were on top of their game making sure my wife and I didn't need a thing. We never had to go to the bar for anything they just kept asking us if we needed anything and they brought it. I really loved the fact that we were able to bring our own desserts as well as the churro station we had at the venue. It made for an amazing dessert station. We did not have any issues. The bartenders were amazing and did not hesitate to make specific drinks well within their limits. But the margaritas were delicious and the beer was great. Our guests had the time of their lives and so did we. If we had the chance to do it all over again in the same venue we wouldn't hesitate. We strongly recommend Spanish Hills Country Club for your next event. Christen did an amazing job helping us and hearing what we wanted and Lupe made sure to follow up and get the details together. These ladies were amazing to work with. Everything was absolutely perfect that evening. Thanks you for making our day so special.
NEW MANAGEMENT. POTENTIAL WEDDINGS BEWARE!
We were one of the few weddings to had the pleasure of working with the previous management team and the absolute displeasure of working...
with the new management team spearheaded by Christen.
The venue itself is beautiful and the event staff are all kind and do their job well. No complaints at all there.
FOOD TASTING:
When we came for our food tasting the wrong food was served. And we were not able to ask any questions since Christen was nowhere to be found. On top of that we were charged for wine, champagne, and the extra sides we wanted to try. We had to get the charges removed. All in all.. a horrible experience.
BEFORE THE EVENT:
Just a few weeks before the event Christen called us complaining about how hard it is to find staffing and that the cost for staffing was higher than they anticipated. Her decision was to then call the bride and tell her that she needs to cover the additional cost for staff or cut our guest list. And was extremely rude. Both families had to be involved and a major stress on all of us until they finally dropped this and covered the costs as they should because it's what was written in the contract. Again... this was a common theme we saw once new management was introduced.
NIGHT OF THE WEDDING:
The bride asked Christen for shots for herself and her bridesmaid party and was told NO.
We very specifically were told that we could serve shots at the wedding... on top of shots not being served, they also didn't serve drinks on top of ice. They told the father of the bride he could not have a whiskey on ice. Imagine that? Telling the host of the event they couldn't have a drink? After we paid for premium bar also.
They gave us trouble for trying to reserve seats during the wedding ceremony for the bridal and groomsmen party. Seems like a pretty normal ask but of course they had an issue with it... even though it was discussed at length prior to the wedding.
SEVERAL PEOPLE came to us during and after the wedding and mentioned how rude Christen was that night. Including the people very close to the wedding party.
Our email to Christen asking for any explanation as to why shots weren't served at the wedding was completely ignored as well.
The Spanish Hills Management team and Christen specifically are the one part of our wedding we hope we forget.
Think long and hard before you consider booking your wedding here.
A few good things just so I am being fair
- it is a beautiful venue 100%
- the food was absolutely delicious and probably the best food I've had at a wedding ever. Got a lot of compliments on it
- they did a great job remodeling the place
-the event staff were all great and very nice

modating. From helping with all the preparation that goes into wedding planning to making sure the day ran smoothly I could not thank Lupe enough. Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more thanks to the team at Spanish Hills.
Working with Christen at Spanish Hills was amazing. I never even thought to look at Spanish Hills because I thought it was out of my budget, but my fiance LOVES golfing there, so ...
we figured "why not?" The food was phenomenal, the staff was professional, and the venue is just gorgeous. I can't wait to hopefully attend a wedding there as a guest in the future!
Our wedding was the best wedding of all time! I mean, isnt that how everyone should feel about their wedding!?
Everything seemed to go perfectly, even the things that didnt go exa...
ctly as planned. I worked with Christen the last couple of weeks leading up to our wedding and she was an absolute joy to work with! I felt like even though we didnt work with each other the whole time she was able to help execute and exceed the expectations of how the day was supposed to go :) I worked with Jamison for most of my planning, she no longer works here, but she was able to understand exactly what I wanted with me not totally even being able to explain everything.
The only complaint that I heard from one guest is that one of the male bartenders was complaining about making the signature drink. The female bartender was very pleasant and quick at making drinks.
Overall, I would do it all over again!
Thank you SHCC for making my wedding a day ill never forget :)
Everyone at Spanish Hills was incredible. We had booked Spanish Hills for our wedding venue and everyone was very nice and accommodating. We didn't end up having our wedding there ...
due to unforeseen personal circumstances, but I know it would have been great if we did.
Christen helped me throughout the entire wedding planning process. She's patient, honest, and is truly a wonderful person to work with. Spanish Hills provides for the most beautifu...
l wedding photos and scenery on their outdoor ceremony locations, but also their ballroom. I would definitely recommend!
My husband and I had our wedding at Spanish Hills, and we had the best time. A handful of guests said it was the best wedding they had been to, and we feel the same way. The proces...
s and planning was so organized with Christen's management. She was very prompt to our inquiries, and she provided clear responses. She found solutions for our requests that were not included in the package we selected. On the day of, everything came together without a hitch. The food was fantastic. Our guests complimented the filet steak. The chef was able to provide a fish we wanted which was not part of their regular menu. They also offered a vegan option. We had the cappuccino bar and our guests found it to be a lovely addition. The dining staff were so pleasant, it made such a difference in the ambiance of the night. The venue was perfect, with a gorgeous sunset during cocktail hour and beautiful reception venue offering many rooms and areas to let your guests decide where to mingle. The day really was special and was above and beyond what we had imagined. Thank you, Christen, and the team at Spanish Hills!
My husband and I went to see Spanish Hills about 10 months prior to our wedding date and we met with Tania. She took her time in showing us the property, gave us some information a...
bout the venue and offered to see what availability they had. A couple weeks after she informed me she was leaving to pursue another job opportunity and left Briane in charge. That is when everything went downhill. Briane rarely has any time slots available to meet her clients, she has Mondays off and sometimes is out of the office on Tuesdays as well so you can not get any information until mid week. The venue only provides BLACK plastic wear for weddings, if you want white you will need to buy it yourself. The venue has a max capacity of 264 but does not have outdoor seating for that many people which adds additional rental costs. The venue staff do not help with set up of any rental items. During the wedding lunch, many of my guests reported the staff were not around and did not have proper water service. If you want to have tea or coffee at your wedding or reception, then you have to pay $2 per cup on top of the catering you have already paid for. The venue only allows white florals, if you want any other color you have to have fake ones. You can not take any items to the venue the night before, they have to only be there the morning of (9am I believe) so allow for this if you have a morning ceremony. There are a lot of hidden details like the ones mentioned above which made the venue very hard to work with and inflated our cost.
I cant say enough great things about this venue and the hard work that our coordinator Jen put in to make our wedding so amazing. This venue is gorgeous. 70% of our guests were fro...
m the east coast and we wanted them to truly experience the beauty of California. This venue provided that and more. The staircase where we had our ceremony was epic. I brought in very few flowers as their landscaping was superb and the natural beauty of the space was all that was needed to make a gorgeous ceremony. The cocktail hour overlooked the hills and valleys of Camarillo and couldn't be more stunning. The reception room was so elegant with the fireplaces, chandeliers and bay window. The staff was fantastic and provided excellent service. I am an event coordinator myself so letting go of putting up the decorations i brought was hard. Jen executed my ideas with accuracy and ease. I could finally rest on the day of the wedding knowing she was in charge. If you are looking for an all inclusive wedding location with outstanding beauty and elegance, great food, flexibility and ease of planning...this is the spot! You wont be sorry! The photos turned out fantastically and my guests still talk about how amazing the venue was.
This venue was perfect for our wedding. We wanted a venue that would comfortably fit over 180 people both for the ceremony and the reception and Spanish Hills accommodated our larg...
e wedding very well. Bridget was our coordinator and helped my bride and I out every step of the way by answering any of our questions and making helpful suggestions when it came to planning and vendors. The food at the reception was delicious. The wedding ceremony and reception were both set up by the staff and looked great. Spanish Hills is a beautiful location with great views of the valley, great for pictures. This location was a great venue for our wedding and we couldn't be happier.
Briane Goodman is AMAZING! She made this whole process so simple and perfect.
We researched a bunch of venues to get prices and packages before we visited any. Every venue had p...
ackages that didn't meet what we wanted or had extra things that we didn't want to pay for or you had to buy things individually (which really adds up). Spanish Hills had the perfect package for us with everything we wanted.
Their preferred vendors list is amazing because you have to get a perfect review from at least ten brides before you can be placed on it so you know these people are good. We found at least 5 of our vendors using their preferred vendors list.
Briane was our coordinator. Even though she was pregnant and left on maternity leave during part of the planning - she was on top of everything and we felt as if she never left us.
Planning our event was amazing and easy and everyone we dealt with was pleasant, enthusiastic and extremely responsive.
Briane really made us feel special and like our event was the event of the century.
The night of the wedding, Briane took her time to show my mother around the room personally. Had a waiter bring my mother a signature drink so she wouldn't have to miss out on anything. There was also a drinks waiter and an appetizer waiter assigned to the bride and groom and the bridal party for when we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour so we didn't have to miss out on anything. When we got inside, we had two waiters assigned to the sweetheart table to make sure we always had food and drinks and didn't have to leave our post. The captain also came up to us multiple times to make sure we were doing alright. They reheated our food when we were up making rounds so we didn't get to touch it until it was cold. They also made sure to pay attention to my parents and treat them like the guests of honor.
I appreciated the lengths they went to to make sure that the "important" people were taken care of properly. The venue was beautiful and everything from the initial meeting to the tasting to our wedding was nothing short of magical and perfect.
From our first appointment we had to view the venue both of us knew right away this was the one. The rich details in and outside kept making our jaws drop, it’s beautiful!!! Brid...
get was our go to person and answered every one of my countless emails. We were able to make several changes leading up to the wedding. She was in contact with my vendors to make sure they had the proper insurance paperwork. At the rehearsal Bridget walked us through everything and was real helpful helping us decide some last minute things for the ceremony, like where to stand and accommodate my dad to walk me down the aisle for just a short distance. We also dropped off everything for the wedding the day before and I made instruction cards on where I wanted things placed. On the day of the wedding we got to take a sneak peak of the reception room and OMG!! The room was gorgeous even more so than I envisioned. SHCC did a great job placing all of our items. The ceremony site was also perfect and spot on. We did not hear any negative reviews only great ones. A few guests raved about the food and the service, the staff all comes out at once and does a little spin number before placing the food at the tables all at once. The food was a little different from what we tried at the tasting but it was still pretty good, I actually did not notice the difference. If you want to blow guests away with your venue and service this is the place to do it.
Spanish Hills Country Club proved to be a stunning site for our ceremony and reception. We were given so much flexibility to design the space and Spanish Hills fully delivered on t...
he entire set up. It was exactly how we had envisioned it! Our wedding coordinator, Tania, was accessible, professional, and very organized. She also went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests, answer a colossal amount of questions and emails, and handle all communication with their vendors on our behalf. Our entire evening was executed flawlessly and we received numerous compliments on how beautiful the site was. We highly recommend using Spanish Hills Country Club for a wedding to be remembered forever!
Loved the facility. Service was great. Guests complained about bar tender being rude and the food picked up before guests were done eating. Other than that, the location was amaz...
ing. Staff was helpful with the planning. Food was delish.

delicious. I looked at Sterling Hills also and Spanish Hills gave me a much better deal and the location is so much more beautiful. Plus Tania was so much more helpful. I loved the entrance the waiters have when they bring the food in. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am. Thank you Tania!!!
I just had my ceremony and reception here! My family and friends were so impressed with the site. My day of coordinator did a really good job on the day of the wedding. The wait ...
staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was great. Our wedding was perfect!
Spanish Hills is a gorgeous site and the staff are helpful and friendly, our coordinator, Briane Goodman was a gem throughout the process.
However, the site is a bit remote wh...
ich, if people will be having a few cocktails without worry, necessitates a shuttle to hotels, which the site does not coordinate with shuttles at all. Our shuttle couldn't figure out how to get in to the club driveway and was waiting out on the curb outside of the club where guests couldn't even find it. So the second half of the wedding we were scrambling to figure out where the shuttle was and direct people to its location.
The other is the bathroom situation. While the club is enormous, you only have access to the banquet side of the site where the is only one men and one women's lounge. There is no where for guests to use a women's restroom/lounge because I (the bride) was in it taking pictures and trying to hide before the ceremony. Especially since the site is sort of remote, everyone had to use the restroom once they got there. Women ended up having to use the men's restroom. Also if you aren't planning on seeing your significant other before the wedding, there aren't a whole lot of places to hide and that relies on the day of coordinator herding people around. Since the day of coordinator could only be at one place at a time, it often left the bridal party and the couple at a loss of where we should be or what we should be doing.
Besides logistics, the site was gorgeous and is lovely in pictures. Weather is perfect and the food is delicious. If you can figure out some logistical solved for a few minor issues, it is the perfect venue.
Our wedding at Spanish hills was simply breath taking.
It was the wedding of our dreams.
Our guests could not stop talking about the venue.
Truly worth the price!
I could NOT have asked for a better wedding venue experience! Spanish Hills is gorgeous--the perfect blend of the garden, outdoor-wedding feel for the ceremony, and the elegant ind...
oor ballroom for the reception. This venue was the best choice for us in terms of budget, beauty, and convenience, AND it was perfect for our guests--everyone loved the food (one of the best meals you will ever eat in your life); easy-to-navigate setup; beautiful location; plentiful, close-by, and complimentary parking; and even the weather (nowhere else in So Cal can you have a wedding in July where the weather is PERFECT--sunny but not blinding, warm with a slight breeze).
Be sure to book with Tania T. as your wedding day-of coordinator. She is so accommodating, answered every question I ever had, always responsive and easy to get a hold of, and flexible. Booking with her was so simple and easy. Not to mention she is always smiling--she genuinely loves what she does. She double-checked every wedding detail (timeline, meals, setup, etc.) and even laid our all our decorations for the guest table, sweets table, etc--we didn't have to worry about any setup, she did it all perfectly. The day of the wedding, everything was ready the MINUTE it was supposed to be. The chef even went out of his way to accommodate our special request for a Persian-style fruit table.
My favorite touch was when they sent a staff member with a platter of appetizers just to follow the groom and myself around during our private photo session while all the other guests were eating appetizers during the cocktail hour--a very nice touch, since we would have had no other chance to eat the amazing appetizers, and because we were starving.
Nowhere else can you find this level of service and personal attention coupled with such an elegant, classy location and such wonderful food for this price! They also don't have any ridiculous hidden fees--they don't charge for cake cutting, etc. Book with them! Our wedding went so smoothly thanks to Tania, and it was a HUGE relief in terms of our budget!
Excellent service and great communication with me throughout the event.
I fell in love with Spanish Hills the moment I walked inside the ballroom. I loved the fireplaces, chandeliers, the fact that everything was in one room and of course that we could...
get married right outside. Everything went amazing the day of even though we had to bring the cocktail hour inside due to weather. I worked with Bridget who made everything so easy during the entire process. The only down fall is there was no bridal suite. I ended up seeing a few guest before the wedding because we had to get ready in the only restroom. Other than that I loved getting married there and loved how our pictures turned out.
Great venue, beautiful grounds, reasonably priced.

Spanish Hills is perfect in almost every way! The first time we toured the venue, my husband and I knew that we could see ourselves getting married there. It is a gorgeous locatio...
n, beautiful grounds, stunning reception ballroom - everything you would want is there. Our wedding coordinator at Spanish Hills was Briane Goodman, and she was great to work with! Big thanks to her for orchestrating everything before and on the day-of - everything went very smoothly. For such a gorgeous, exclusive venue, their wedding packages are actually very reasonable for what they offer compared to other venues in the area. We were surprised because we didn't have a huge budget by any means, but were able to have hosted bar all night long and filet mignon! Speaking of food, their catering is fantastic - all of their food is delicious, but the filet mignon is especially good...we got so many compliments from guests that their meals were excellent. My groom and I did actually get to eat our meals and we enjoyed them to the fullest!! The venue is so pretty on it's own, we didn't really need to decorate it as we would have to if we were in some hotel's ballroom or something. That way we saved money on centerpieces, lighting, and other decor (we had simple centerpieces and just candles around the room and it looked so beautiful!) One thing that they need that I would say is a con is that the don't have a bride's room for getting ready...just the ladies restroom. Although it is big and nicely appointed, it wasn't very private from guests and country club members. I got my hair and makeup done before I got to the venue, so all I had to do was put on my dress and jewelry there...I'd recommend that if you book here. It really was our dream wedding, I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. I'm still waiting to see the photos from my photographer, but I'm absolutely sure that your photos will be stunning at this location...it is just so beautiful in every way. It's relaxed, elegant, and magical! Love Spanish Hills!!
My husband and I held our ceremony and reception at the beautiful Spanish Hills Country Club earlier this month. Everything from the helpful staff to the lushly landscaped grounds...
to the superb food made our wedding day absolutely perfect! The synchronized food service is an excellent touch that makes Spanish Hills both elegant and memorable.
Our wedding coordinator, Briane Goodman, was so helpful and easy to work with. She was incredibly prompt with answering questions and was a wealth of resources for vendors and other wedding ideas.
The grounds at SH are SO perfect for photographs that we ran out of time before we could take pictures at all the breathtaking spots. From the fountains to the palm trees to the birds of paradise to the Spanish style architecture, the country club truly has it ALL.
There is not a thing I would change or wish Spanish Hills had; it is really a remarkable venue with the highest quality staff, grounds and food.
I give Spanish Hills Country Club my highest recommendation and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
I loved the setting and the decor....it was perfect! The coordinator was very helpful. Everyone loved the food!

ding venues that were close, but they did not have the "wow" factor I was looking for and that provided enough value per dollar. When I saw Spanish Hills, I knew I found the perfect venue and it actually exceeded all my expectation.
Not only are the grounds beautiful and break-taking, the quality of food and service was top-notch. One of my guests actually told me that my wedding was a "class act" from beginning to finish and I felt this compliment was carried through by Spanish Hills and their team.
Inside, there are beautiful chandeliers and these cozy fireplaces. I actually had terrential rain on my wedding day so I had to have my wedding indoors, but it did not take away from the beauty of ambiance of the event, it actually added to it! The team also diligently worked to keep me happy and stress free.
The food was amazing and the Spanish Hills team was beyond accommodating.
If you are looking for a classy and romantic venue, Spanish Hills is definitely the place!
Spanish Hills Was so hassel free and very accomodating I would reccommend this place to anyone
