Southfork Ranch was very impressive. The ranch has been carefully preserved in its original condition. Our guide was very kind and provided detailed explanations throughout the tour. It was definitely worth driving 4.5 hours to visit.

We had Eid festival for the Arab and Muslim community!! Very nice! Many vendors, food, clothes, drinks, and games for kids. I loved the live music by local Arabic singers and The Dabka dance. ☺🙌

Loved the quietness. We went on the tour with a small group which was great. People friendly and I didnt feel like I was cattle being herded from room to room.

Southfork Ranch is a worthwhile stop, especially if you’re a fan of the Dallas series. While only a limited number of scenes were actually filmed on-site, there’s still a strong sense of nostalgia walking through the grounds and seeing the icon...
ic exterior in person. For visitors 40+, in particular, it really brings back memories and adds an extra layer of enjoyment.
The ranch itself is well-maintained, with guided tours that share interesting behind-the-scenes details and some TV history. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the setting is peaceful—making it a pleasant outing even beyond the TV connection.
One area that could be improved is accessibility of information for international visitors. It would be great to see written descriptions and materials available in multiple languages; during the visit, only French translations were available, which felt a bit limited.
Overall, even with only a portion of the show filmed here, it’s still a fun and nostalgic experience, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Dallas area.
