Southern Tier Brewery really shined for the welcome dinner my wife and I hosted to kick off our wedding weekend. The packages are decently priced and the drink minimum was able to be easily met by 40 people.
The pierogis, the Cleveland staple, were a hit. The meatballs were decent, and the chicken sliders were classic.
The drinks themselves, beers, cider, and cocktails, were all very well brewed and made. Our fave was the Bullfrog.
The staff (Kelsey especially) was very on top of everything, attentive before, during, and after the event. I never had to flag down a bartender for refilling food or drink.
There are pre-set limit options (ticket option, pre-set cost limit, etc.) or open bar options, so there is so much you can do to customize the package exactly the way you want it.
Only thing to prepare for is if there is a sporting event going on downtown to get there early to find parking. Southern Tier is right near the Jake so parking can be very busy and expensive.
This was the PERFECT location for our rehearsal. We did dinner (~70) people and the food was phenomenal. Then opened to ~130 for drinks and the downstairs location was perfect. Was big enough for everyone without feeling crowded or empty. Food was unreal good and somehow the service was even better! The bartenders were 10/10 amazing, so friendly and kind and never let me or my husband’s drinks go dry. Highly recommend!!

The story of Southern Tier Brewing Company began in the forests of Lakewood, NY with founders, Phineas DeMink, Sara DeMink, and Allen “Skip” Yahn nearly 2 decades ago. Now, many years later the brewery’s beers and ales can be found throughout the country and across borders. In addition, there are multiple locations serving beers brewed on site and fresh from the tap, such as the Cleveland location which features a German-designed brewing system and over 30 beers on tap. The company as a whole prides itself on innovative approaches to the concept and industry of craft breweries.
