our scheduled virtual consultation, and I had to reach out to confirm whether the meeting was still happening and how it would be conducted (phone or virtual). When they finally called, before even greeting me, I overheard the associate say, "Yeah, I am calling them now to get this over with," which immediately felt unprofessional and dismissive. During the consultation, as soon as I mentioned that I needed makeup for 2 people and hair for 5, they informed me that their minimum requirement was 4 people per service. Rather than offering any alternative solutions or showing interest in helping, they abruptly told me I would be better off with another service and hung up. This experience left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a potential client. I would not recommend Southern Couture Salon & Bridal Bar based on their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and dismissive attitude.

Each time I walked into their storefront I felt a sense of peace - their space is so calming and all of the staff is friendly, encouraging, and make sure you are seen and heard. Specifically, my interactions with Kirstin and Kendall have always been so positive and my discussions with them have been fruitful and fulfilling. They are two of the most kind and genuine people you will meet. For the day of - Kirstin and Kendall arrived early to the venue and promptly got to work with hair and makeup for my bridal party. Their skill for hair and makeup is unparalleled and their service is impeccable. When the time came that they had wrapped up all of the hair and makeup, I was honestly sad to see them leave! My hair and makeup for my wedding was flawless - I never had to worry that my airbrushed makeup would run (even through all the tears I shed throughout the day) and my hair held up throughout the entire day and night! I had many conversations with Kendall leading up to my wedding as I just could not figure out what hairstyle I wanted to go with but the updo Kendall had given me day of (after compiling many photos for me to look through) was just absolutely perfect and I could not have imagined it any other way. I strongly recommend going with SC for your upcoming event. Even though my wedding is over, I will be a client for life. Their services are very reasonably priced and the quality is unmatched. Thank you Kirstin and Kendall - it has been such a pleasure working with you two for my wedding and I will see you at my next appointment! Without a doubt, this is the vendor you want to go with for all of your beauty needs!

timeline. Also, having the touch up services was a MUST (especially if your wedding is outside like). My only con is that I didn't have the same people for my trial as I did for the day of. They took notes during my trial for how I wanted my hair & makeup but it seems the people on the day of didn't read those notes at all so we had to start from scratch.

They were efficient, precise and great to work with. We all felt confident leaving Southern Couture and all of it lasted the entire night!! I let my bridesmaids choose their hairstyle. They each had very different looks, but the Southern Couture team had no issues and helped their Pinterest photos come to life. Kristin did an amazing job on my makeup and even gave me lipstick to go (GENIUS!!). I highly recommend using the Southern Couture team if you are getting married in Greenville or the surrounding area. The bridal bar was also such a fun and unique space. that I'd recommend again and again!
