was detailed with the music we listed in our questionnaire and kept all our preferences in mind. He is reasonably priced and offered great packages which included uplighting, dancing on a cloud, and a disco ball (I haven't seen any DJ, except Eryk, that includes these without up charging). I appreciate his diligence and had a good experience with Sound Sensations.

. His set up was good for a venue that had multiple areas to travel to (a ceremony space, cocktail area, and reception hall). He offers lots of extras such as uplighting, monograms, and dancing on the clouds. He runs good deals on photo booths as well.
Cons:
He lacked in professionalism a few times unfortunately.
He missed a call appointment he had requested with me due to his girlfriend staying the night (his words).
He did not review any of our music picks until a day or two before the wedding. I then had to fix files very last minute so that they would work. Thank goodness I was home and able to do this on my Mac!
My father had requested to be added into the speeches the day before the wedding. We already had 3 short speeches being done. This was a surprise (and slight frustration) for all of us. Eryk made a comment about us changing everything last minute. This was the only thing changed last minute and was a shock to us all. I found that to be a little rude when I had already apologized profusely. My father only had to be announced.
He did not seem as enthusiastic the day of the wedding as he did on phone calls.
Overall, he showed up and did his job. He seemed easy to work with in the beginning. It started great, but kind of dropped off about 1 week out from the wedding. I wish he was more professional. I would have liked for him to have been more upbeat the day of. Maybe it was a long weekend because our wedding was a Sunday.

We had so many compliments on our DJ and entertainment, he absolutely kept the party alive and loud throughout the entire evening, he facilitated the last minute reception games I through at him as a crazy bride with ease and experience, and knew exactly how to pivot from a song that wasn’t working to one that would get everyone on the dance floor seconds later. Eryk also provided insight on location of our bar and photobooth that helped keep our guests engaged with the dancefloor – always trust the professionals! The photobooth that we booked through Sound Sensation’s Face2Frame connection was also a huge hit with our guests. he rolled with everything effortlessly and kept the entire event running smoothly from start to finish.
The music was flawless- he took us from 1920s elegance all the way to 90s and 2000s club bangers, with everything in between, and the energy never dipped. The uplighting and disco ball he included truly elevated the atmosphere and enhanced the overall vibe of the evening and he has plenty of other cool add-ons. We also added the Photo Booth, which was a huge hit. Guests loved taking the printouts home, and we were able to customize the frame to perfectly match our Gatsby Garden party theme.

Also, for certain timeline events, we feel that it wasn't announced properly such as the cake cutting. Some guests didn't hear it being announced at all and others stated there was a lot of confusion surrounding the announcement because the moment prior he told everyone to refresh their drinks. If you decide to choose sound sensations as your DJ make sure you clearly communicate what you want and have one final conversation with them prior to your event.
