About this vendor
Sound Insight makes it easy for you to have a standout wedding celebration you’ll love by providing fashionably engaging entertainment.
We Understand
YOU ARE DISCERNING
Real talk: There’s a stereotype about wedding DJs. Trust us, we’ve experienced (as guests) the cheese and the uncomfortable awkwardness that is so common in the industry. Maybe you’ve been to weddings where nobody danced and it was super boring. We can help you avoid all of that!
We set out to be different. We’re fresh, fun, polished, and throw one-heck-of-a-party! Hundreds of couples have trusted Sound Insight and you can too.
YOU CARE ABOUT QUALITY
It’s not enough to just find a “DJ”. You want more. You want the experience to be effortless and to be able to trust that your vendor team understands and respects you. The choices you make are a reflection of your style and taste.
From the very first contact (which we hope you do today ;) we’re here to help you elevate your wedding. We’re focused on relationships and results. Customer service, music selection, equipment aesthetic, and the vibe is completely focused on enhancing the entire experience.
WEDDINGS ARE A BIG INVESTMENT
We get it. Most of our team is married and have been part of paying for a wedding. Until you start researching and planning, you don’t know how quickly things add up. It’s more about VALUE than about price. What do you GET for your money and what is it WORTH to you?
Here’s some quick advice. You and your fiance should write down the 3 things most important to you at the wedding (do this separately) and compare lists. The things on both of your lists is where you should concentrate your budget. If entertainment is on your top 3, let’s chat

If this is your sign to book Sound Insight as your wedding DJ, then this is it! Out of the 11 weddings we attended as guests in 2024, our friend’s wedding with DJ Ian really stood ...
out – we had such an amazing time on the dance floor, which was packed the entire night, that we didn’t think twice when we decided to work with Ian and the Sound Insight team for our own wedding. Everything in the pre-planning process was so easy; Ian and Carrie were both so responsive and helpful. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, Ian ensured we had great sound quality, fun music, and entertaining MC work! We had so many of our guests tell us after the wedding that it was the most fun wedding they’d been to. Definitely book Sound Insight if you want to work with a great team of people and if you want your guests to have fun all night!
We cannot say enough great things about Ian from Sound Insight. From the very first booking conversation all the way through the last song of the night, he was absolutely incredibl...
e. He worked in all of our special request songs seamlessly and even made custom edits for our ceremony music that were so meaningful and perfect.
As a host, Ian set the tone for the entire evening—professional, fun, and completely in tune with the crowd. He kept EVERYONE on the dance floor all night long, from kids to grandparents, which is no easy feat at a wedding! The flow of the evening was smooth and full of energy thanks to his attention to detail and skill behind the mic.
And then there was the saxophone addition… WOW. The immersive experience of live sax with the DJ was mind-blowing—in the best way possible!!! It took the entire reception to another level. If you are having a hard time deciding DJ or band, this really is the best of both worlds! Our guests are still raving about how it was the best wedding entertainment they have ever seen and I couldn’t agree more!
Out of all our wedding vendors, Ian was hands down the BEST to work with. His communication, flexibility, and talent exceeded every expectation we had. If you’re on the fence—don’t be. HIGHLY, highly recommend Sound Insight for your wedding or any event.
Sound Insight, and DJ Ian, had the most profound impact on our wedding of any single vendor we hired. Sound Insight provided music and lighting from ceremony all the way through co...
cktail, reception, and party. Ian worked with us and made thoughtful, highly knowledgable recommendations to help us achieve a live singing performance for our "First Dance", and a full 3 hour live stage karaoke reception party. Their Karaoke set up was perfect for signers and the audience participating! Ian's ability to get people dancing immediately also cannot be understated. We had a wide mix of ages and cultures to appeal to, and immediately everyone was on the dance floor sweating and it did not stop all night. All of our guests said how great the DJ was. The lighting they provided also made my basement like reception hall come to life and look picture perfect. The versatility and skill set that Ian with Sound Insight provided made our wedding everything I ever dreamed it would be. It was worth every penny! I can't wait until I have another excuse to hire them again for an event.
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Ian! From the moment we booked him, everything was easy and smooth. He was friendly, super helpful, and always clear with communication,...
which made us feel comfortable the entire time. His style was perfect for our crowd—our guests were constantly on the dance floor and couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had.
Ian really kept the energy up and made the night unforgettable. Plus, the photobooth he provided was a major hit! We got so many funny photos and memories to look back on. Highly recommend Ian if you want an incredible DJ experience!
I will never get over the experience we had with Cannon on our wedding day. Prior to our wedding, he was very thorough in the planning process and very effective at communicating. ...
As far as our reception, he BLEW our expectations!!!! He truly made every single vision I had for our reception come to life. It was such a party and the dance floor was seriously packed full the entire night!! It was very obvious that Cannon used our “suggested songs” list that we had submitted to create a playlist but he was also very flexible in playing songs we recommended spontaneously throughout the night. After our wedding, I had multiple people reach out to ask me for his contact information for future events. The wedding planning process is stressful, but book with Cannon and rest assured your reception with be SEAMLESS! Thank you, Cannon, for being such a big part of our special day.

ience for our guests on the dance floor! Our guests are still telling us we had an awesome DJ and music! Ian was very thorough in getting to know us, understanding the vibe we wanted for the ceremony and reception, and guided us through the whole planning process perfectly. Not only did he have the best mix of songs for us, he is a natural MC and helped the reception flow from announcing our entrance, teeing up our toasts/speeches and getting our guests excited and on the dance floor. Thank you for EVERYTHING, Ian! You truly go above and beyond and we are so thankful you were our DJ! Let’s party together again sometime!!

sts, dances, etc moving smoothly. The music fit great with our preferences and matched the tone of the reception throughout the night. The best part was that Eric was able to get a piano/acoustic version of one of our favorite songs to make a special moment even more perfect.
We are so glad that we hired Sound Insights to DJ our wedding! We knew as soon as we read the other reviews that we wanted to learn more, and our venue also highly recommended them...
. First off, the company is truly kind and professional. They always responded quickly and kindly. Even more impressive was that they automatically honored the price we were quoted even though we took a while to decide and didn’t until after they had updated the pricing for the coming year. We didn’t even have to ask or bring it up, and they reassured us that we shouldn’t feel pressured to make a decision for fear of the price changing. We hired Kris Plummer as our DJ, and it was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. He was so kind and easy to talk to and communicate with. He answered all of our questions and did a great job providing recommendations whenever we asked. The custom first dance and parent dance songs he made were wonderful, and we really appreciated how patient he was as we decided a lot of our songs at the last minute. On the day of, Kris handled all announcements and make sure we stayed on schedule while also keeping our dance floor packed all night! Everyone still talks about how amazing the music and DJ were. We could not recommend Kris and Sound Insights more!
Oh my gosh!!! There aren’t enough words to describe our experience with Athens DJ— especially Ian!!! Ian was absolutely incredible! He met with my husband and I before the wedding ...
to walk through exactly what we wanted and offered his own advice for fun and special touches to the night. The day of the wedding, Ian was amazing! It was storming and he was so flexible during the whole day while we were deciding between rain plans. Luckily it cleared up 30 minutes before the wedding and he was so amazing with moving everything around for the last minute change. During the reception, Ian mingled with all our guests and got an even greater idea of what to do to get everyone on the dance floor. He was so inclusive of all ages of our guests and was sooooo amazing about getting EVERYONE on the dance floor!! My husband and I have not stopped talking a month later about how blessed we were to get such a thoughtful and talented DJ. We highly, highly recommend Athens DJ and if possible get Ian!!! He will make your night one to remember forever!!

ht made our wedding into an event that everyone keeps talking about. Our guests and ourselves spent the entire night on the dance floor because the music was just that good!! Our DJ, Kris, knew exactly how to read the crowd and use his skills in live mixes to keep the crowd energized all night long. Plus, Kris did our sound for the live music in the ceremony and it went perfectly. I can’t recommend Sound Insight enough for any couple that wants their wedding to be an unforgettable night.
David did an incredible job at our wedding! He nailed our style and had everyone dancing until the end. Highly recommend using him for your next event!
I have nothing but great things to say about David with Sound Insights! David is an amazing entertainer and I had so many people come up to me after our wedding saying how awesome ...
our DJ was. If you need a DJ for a wedding or any upcoming event, David is your guy 100%!!
An absolute MUST dream team for your wedding entertainment!! My husband and I knew from our first interaction with Sound Insights that that we were in good hands. Kris Plummer was ...
incredible to work, from the very beginning. He got to know us (virtually) and tailored our music to our personal tastes throughout wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception. He was truly a pro! We also hired the percussionist add-on.... IT WAS SO GOOD! It added a great live music element and was a huge hit. Our guests were of all ages (teens, mid 20s, middle aged adults, and seniors) and we had SO many people tell us it truly was the best wedding they've been to. From the music, the seamless flow of events, to professionalism, it was perfectly executed by Kris. Sound Insights truly invests into their bride and groom and makes the wedding day seamless and easy to package add-ons. If music/reception fun is at the top of your wedding priorities.... look no further! Take advantage of the packaged add-ons like selfie stand booth, up lighting, and percussionist. Thank you so much Kris and Sound Insights team for making our day truly the most amazing day :)

awesome! He helped create our reception timeline and communication was great. The reception was amazing. Guests had a blast and raved about the music. Chris kept the party going! We highly recommend this company. Thanks again for helping us create memories!
I was already familiar with Sound Insight before we started wedding planning, and from everything I had experienced, there was no doubt that we wanted David to be our DJ. It also d...
idn’t hurt that every venue we toured mentioned that David was the person to go with. We were NOT disappointed. We both felt like music was really important to us, and we wanted someone who could help create the party atmosphere we wanted. David was the perfect DJ for this; he really helped set the tone for every part of our wedding day. He had this really cool booth, he added lights when it was ‘party’ time, the sound was great, and he brought props! He was also way more than a DJ; he was an emcee that helped make everything flow so smoothly throughout the reception. And in the planning process, he was super organized. He understood exactly what our taste was, what kind of party we wanted, and even had suggestions for how to keep things flowing smoothly. There just so many extras with having David as our DJ. We loved having him there!
Chris Anani was 10\10 for personality and DJ skills. Perfect man for the job. The company owner was difficult to communicate with but Chris was the bomb.com and I never felt in dou...

David made our wedding unforgettable to every single guest and not to mention, our other vendors! Our videography team told us it was the most insane dance floor they've ever seen ...
at a wedding! He brought the party! We loved the way he tailored the music to our age, it was banger after banger. The dance floor was insane all night - it didn't stop. Our wedding guests are STILL talking about our DJ. I can't tell you how many people messaged us specifically about how it was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding. It's honesty my favorite memory from our wedding night! If you're deciding between hiring David or any other company, GO WITH DAVID! He's worth every penny and more. We also LOVED the dance floor selfie station! 10/10!!!!

azing! We danced the entire night. We have had so many people tell us how much fun our wedding was and ask who we used for music. David thought of everything and is so amazing to work with. We used their photo booth as well, which was a hit! I can’t recommend Sound Insight Productions enough!!
The music was the highlight of the entire night! While I am biased to say that everything about my wedding went perfectly, I've heard enough compliments and raving reviews from gue...
sts to know I'm not the only one with that opinion regarding the music! Kris did such a fantastic job blending the music and keeping the dance floor going. He also did all of the ceremony music and put together a playlist for the cocktail hour. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. I had more fun dancing than I ever have before!
My wedding was last night and I couldn’t wait to get on here and brag about how incredible David was on my big day. Initially when searching for a DJ (one of the most important dec...
isions as your DJ/band makes the atmosphere fun) my husband and I interviewed a handful and we had found Insight to be the best. Not only did David make everyone dance, he was also the perfect MC and coordinator. He made sure we stayed on track with every section of the day to maximize the most of our time (dinner, cake, toast etc) and this was a breath of fresh air as I didn’t have a wedding planner and things went ever so smoothly and perfectly. He exceeded my expectations and I am overly pleased with my decision of making David my DJ. Thanks Insight!!
Chris Anani was the BEST DJ I could have asked for. He kept everyone rocking all night long. From the ages of 15 to 80, we all loved him and the music he selected .

tions and really gave us as much freedom as we wanted. The day of event was PERFECT. All of our wedding guests spent the entire night on the dance floor - it was packed. Literally everything we ever wanted. He was fun, funny, and knows how to throw a party. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. You will never regret booking Sound Insight!!!
David Osborne DJ'd our wedding and absolutely shined. From the start, David was easy to work with. He laid out a clear plan, and then he was really accommodating and understanding ...
when COVID forced us (and later continued to force us) to alter that plan. Leading up to the wedding, he communicated well and helped us finalize details. Then on the wedding day itself, he was fantastic. He executed the sound for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then he knocked it out of the park during the reception. David is incredibly personable, energetic, and good on his feet. He knows how to engage and cater music to any crowd he encounters. I strongly encourage anyone hiring David to just let him do his thing when it comes time to party--he mixed music live and tailored it to what the crowd wanted and needed. Everyone was really impressed and appreciated how much he kept the party going. He paced it well, too, and he knew exactly when to chime in to connect with the crowd. All around, we're really glad we hired David, and I strongly recommend him for any DJ'ing gig. He's versatile and will provide a great time no matter the setting.
Our DJ Kris Plummer was such a joy to work with. Sound Insight was recommended by our venue (255 Milledge) and we booked DJ Kris for both our ceremony and reception. Kris was so he...
lpful during the planning process and recommended songs for our ceremony based on our musical taste, plus provided multiple custom edits to choose from when we were deciding on ceremony music. He then did such a great job of keeping the reception moving smoothly and his playlist for dancing was energetic, mixed perfectly and so much fun. We danced the Jewish hora during our reception but most of our attendees were not familiar with the dance, so Kris went around to each table to explain the steps and cues in the song which I thought really exemplifies how much effort he puts into your event! We had so many of our guests tell us how awesome he was. Sound Insight was one of my favorite vendors from our wedding day, and you will absolutely enjoy working with them!
We hired Greg Hankins (pianist) with Sound Insight Productions for our wedding ceremony and would recommend him to any and everyone! The music was beautiful and fit our day perfect...
ly. Greg made the process of deciding on the music so easy and stress-free. David Osborne made the administrative side of things (contract, payment, etc.) straightforward as well. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 only a few weeks out from our original date. Greg and David were so kind and understanding for that part of the process as well. Seriously, book with Sound Insight Productions for all your events!

e got a feel for our music styles and it was clear that he took them to heart. Music during the ceremony was flawless and he provided equipment and wireless mics for everyone who needed one. During the reception, music ranging from 90s Rock to Modern Hip-Hop flowed seamlessly and kept our family and friends dancing. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting my side of the family to get out on the dance floor and participate but when I heard my 80 year old grandmother asking me to dance, I knew we made the right DJ choice. Kris did a great job of making the dancing feel inviting from both his music and his vocal announcements. He is also easily approachable and happy to help tackle problems. Kris volunteered to help monitor my Zoom stream of our wedding for no additional charge, something that I was stressed about leading up to our ceremony. I would highly recommend Sound Insight and DJ Kris Plummer.
David was amazing! We had a small wedding, only 45 people, and he had everyone dancing and laughing. Our ceremony and reception flowed seamlessly and he catered the music to our sp...
ecific tastes. He was flexible to work with leading up to the wedding and honestly such a joy to talk with. I would highly recommend David and the Sound Insight team to any engaged couple!!
I had the pleasure of having DJ Chris Anahi from the Sound Insight Team and let me tell you he did not disappoint! We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and it still went very smoot...
h with Chris not skipping one beat with everything thrown at him. When it was time to hit the dance floor, everyone was up until we excited the venue. We TURNED UP ALL NIGHT!!!! Music that had us up every second of the evening and I couldn’t think of a better DJ for our special event. If you are looking for an amazing DJ look no further than that the Sound Insight Team and request DJ Chris Anahi. I promise he will will not let you down!!! 👌🏿

Plummer, knocked it out of the park with each song and turned our intimate dinner reception into a dance party. He also MC'd the reception so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Kris for helping make our special day unforgettable!

inator and wedding coordinator before too, which made everything go very smoothly. He did a fantastic job of keeping the reception flowing through toasts, dances, dinner, etc. And his music playlist/mix for the evening was insanely perfect! David picked up what songs the crowd was responding well to and played more of that genre with still providing a good variety. I was so impressed and the guests kept saying how awesome he was! I could not recommend a vendor more, book David before you do anything else!
David was beyond amazing!! He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! He “crushed” it!!! Thank you for making the night so unforgettable!

forgettable!
From the beginning, David was excellent at communicating with us. He was quick to respond and answered all our questions. He also asked us all the right questions about what we wanted the atmosphere of the wedding to be like.
We were beyond thrilled with working with David on the actual day. I can tell you that he truly listened to our song requests and music preferences, mixing in both my and my husband’s favorites. During dinner, our guests were already singing and dancing. And then when the dance floor opened up, everybody danced all night long to his live mixes. Multiple friends and family members complimented us on our DJ both during and after the wedding saying that he was best DJ they have ever heard - and even asked for his availability for events all around the country!
Loved David! He made our recpetion so much fun!! I wouldn’t hire or reccomend anyone else!

ts for our cocktail hour and reception. David basically guided our guests to where they needed to be throughout the evening and made it so much fun! And his DJ skills are on point. I may be biased but I truly don't think I've ever had so much fun at a wedding. He also communicated throughout our engagement to make sure he had all the details he needed to make the night perfect. Thank you!!

ul, elegant when called for, fun and relatable. The reception atmosphere built up like the best set list of all your favorite bands. It was nothing short of amazing- it embodied our styles, appealed to the crowd and got hundreds of guests dancing with us all night! David’s talent was effortless and genuine. Before the event, our planning and selection process was not overwhelming at all. Both Chris and Dave were incredibly easy, understanding and professional. We cannot recommend them highly enough!!Thank you for everything!!

He's an amazing DJ. There were multiple parts of our wedding where we had no idea what to play during, but David made suggestions that were absolutely perfect. Our reception was so much fun. I honestly can only really describe our wedding day as perfect, and it's all thanks to David as well as all of our vendors who worked so hard to make our day as amazing as it was.

Our guests non-stop text me the days following our wedding to ask for the name of our band to share with friends! He has an answer to every silly question and gave us the best entertainment advice along the way! We are beyond grateful for David and Side Hustle Band making our wedding night so perfect!
