We had a wonderful experience working with Something You Event Services for Day-Of Coordination for our October 2024 wedding. Alyssa and her assistant were fantastic!
From our fir...
st meeting, Alyssa was professional, organized, and thoughtful in understanding our vision for the wedding.
On the wedding day, Alyssa was a calm and confident presence who kept everything running smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing she was ensuring every vendor arrived on time, every detail was accounted for, and everything happened as planned—without us having to worry about a thing.
We especially appreciated not having to worry about setting up the reception hall, as Alyssa took the lead in coordinating with our venue. She was also attentive to us and our immediate families during the reception, which made the experience even more enjoyable. She also captured some photos and videos for us during moments that no others were doing so, so we appreciated her thinking to capture some of these moments so we could enjoy them later on.
Overall, Alyssa and her assistant provided the support we needed for everything to come together seamlessly in the days leading up to the wedding and on our big day. Their services allowed us to feel at ease, knowing they had our backs!
If you're looking for someone who is organized, kind, and experienced, I highly recommend working with Alyssa for your event!
Thank you, Alyssa, for making our day so special!
We hired Alyssa and Something You Event Services and had such an amazing experience!! Alyssa was so professional, responsive, and easy to work with. She helped us put a timeline ...
together prior to the Wedding and day of kept everything running smoothly! She also set up all of our decor and made everything look so beautiful!
She was just so kind and fun to have around! This is such an important (and stressful!!) day for couples, and her energy added such a positive touch to our day!
After our wedding, she sent me a couple of photos and videos which was so above and beyond and really fun to have as we wait for our photographer to finish our formal photos! They look professional and have been so fun to have to reminisce on from that day!
Alyssa was great with our day-of coordination! It was very helpful that she had worked at our venue before and knew the ins and outs. She expertly assembled our decor and made sure...
I wasn’t bothered at all the morning of our wedding which was much appreciated. Alyssa was flexible with her meeting hours which was crucial due to mine and my husband’s working hours. She also coordinated our timeline with the photographer which took a big headache away from me. Thank you so much Alyssa! Highly recommend!
Alyssa and her team/services were INCREDIBLE. Her efforts were there all night long. Between assisting my husband and I, catering to guests needs and bringing my vision to life it ...
was all outstanding. I couldn’t imagine my special day without her.
Alyssa was amazing! Highly recommend! She was incredibly detail oriented and on the ball with everything. She made our special day flawless!
Alyssa was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. I genuinely couldn’t have gotten through the day without her and her team! We had a backyard wedding, which ...
came with so many moving pieces and little details to keep track of, and Alyssa handled everything with such a calm, collected, and reassuring presence. She was always one step ahead and made sure everything stayed on track so that I could actually relax and enjoy the day.
Even when something came up, Alyssa never made me feel stressed or overwhelmed. I knew I could trust her to handle whatever needed to be taken care of. She took so much off of my plate and allowed me to be present for the moments that mattered most.
One of the things I appreciated most was that she captured so many behind the scenes photos throughout the day. Because it was a backyard wedding, there were so many little moments happening in different places, and she captured them from different points of view that I never would have gotten to see myself. After the wedding, those photos became something I cherished so much because they allowed me to relive parts of the day that I missed or didn’t even know were happening. I am so incredibly grateful for everything Alyssa did to make our wedding day so seamless and memorable. She allowed me to soak in every moment and truly enjoy the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough!
Alyssa and her assistant were absolutely FABULOUS. I spoke with Alyssa a couple times before the wedding (she was our day-of coordinator) and each time I was reassured that I had p...
icked the right person - Alyssa is incredibly on top of it, organized, and clearly has extensive expertise in all things wedding-related. I couldn’t even tell you the hundreds of things she did on my wedding day because I didn’t even know or have to think about it. Because of Alyssa, I was able to be fully present and enjoy my day. I can tell you that Alyssa completely decorated my reception (and ceremony) space, including doing my bud vases from bulk flowers. She made our wedding look like it was thousands of dollars more expensive than it was; truly beautiful. She went above and beyond on every detail. She made sure we were fed and always had a drink (including meeting us on our way out of our ceremony to hand us a much needed drink). I could go on and on, although, like I said, I couldn’t even tell you everything because it was not on me that day, Alyssa took it upon herself entirely. I had the BEST day and everything went smoothly, which seems exceedingly rare for brides on their wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough; you will be so grateful you hired her!

th wedding planning, and Alyssa was able to come in and help ease my worries significantly. She was very flexible with meeting times and fit us in where she could, even if that meant at 8:30 pm on a weeknight. Alyssa was always quick to respond to emails or texts as well, which was nice because sometimes it can take vendors a while to get back to you during busy season. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and she and her assistant Taylor catered to all of our needs throughout the day and kept us on track. It was also so nice that we were able to hand over all the details (table numbers, seating chart, card box, etc.) and didn’t have to worry about setting it up ourselves. It was the most perfect day and Alyssa was a huge part of making that happen! We are forever grateful!

or and it was zero questions ask, they just got it and got it done, it was absolutely wonderful!
What would have been so stressful making sure people were in the right spot, had their flowers, all that- they handled it! Even my nephew having a temper tantrum, Alyssa was just going with the flow.
When it came time to take post-ceremony pictures, Alyssa came walking down the isle with our favorites drinks like an angel ♥️
My husband and I were taken care of throughout the day and into the evening. If we had to do it all over again, Something You Event Services would be picked again in a heart beat! You won’t be disappointed!

grabbed some BTS photos of our day! I am so happy I found her on the Knot and recommend her services to anyone!

as included, we both agreed it wasn’t necessary. Instead, Alyssa generously added an extra hour of her time on the wedding day, which truly meant so much to me.
Throughout our meetings, we went over my vision for both the ceremony and reception, and Alyssa completely understood what I was hoping to achieve. She executed my table arrangements perfectly and brought every detail together exactly as I had envisioned.
Alyssa was incredibly attentive to my timeline and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule throughout the day. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially when worrying about how all the details will come together, but Alyssa helped ease that stress in every possible way. She truly brought my vision to life and made my winter wedding at the Highlands feel seamless and beautiful.
I am so grateful for her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm presence. I would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone considering a month-of coordinator—you will be in the best hands.

fectly and smoothly. Alyssa helped us adjust the timeline as needed when things ran over and handled every detail so we could just enjoy the day. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to any couple!
Wow, where do I start? I had hired Alyssa from Something You Event Services probably about 2 weeks before our wedding. I was so ecstatic that she was available. I provided her with...
an overload of details and she handled it like a champ. On the day of the wedding she was at the venue working so hard to make our vision come to life and when I saw it, she had done just that and more! When she had questions, she contacted my sister so I didn't have to worry about a thing. Before the ceremony, I was starting to get nervous and was trying to breathe and she was there behind the curtain to calm me. During the reception, she was so attentive to getting my husband and I drinks and making sure our glasses were never empty, as well as keep us on schedule with the timeline and events. The one thing everyone always says that they regret on their wedding day is NOT hiring a coordinator and I am SO GRATEFUL that I did because looking back, I don't think we could've gone through the day without her. It was such a peace of mind knowing everything was getting taken care of at the venue while we were getting glammed and that I didn't have to burden one of my family members to take care of things. SO if it's one thing I would swear my life on to another bride, it would be to hire Alyssa and her company because she was impeccable! THANK YOU A MILLION ALYSSA <3

On the day of, Alyssa ensured that every detail was taken care of and took care of the final touches to the venue decorations (flower arch, floating candles, etc). Thanks to Alyssa, everything ran effortlessly; she communicated with our vendors, checked on us throughout the reception, and ensured that the day was as stress-free as possible. Alyssa is well organized, efficient, and amazing at what she does!

Alyssa took the time to truly understand our vision and handled every little detail behind the scenes so we could be fully present and soak in each moment. She was organized, communicative, and always one step ahead—making sure everything flowed perfectly, from vendor coordination to last-minute touches we didn’t even think of. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without her.
If you’re looking for someone who will treat your day with the same care and passion as if it were their own, look no further. Alyssa and Something You Events made our day stress-free and unforgettable. We’re beyond grateful!

ne joy that made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.
Alyssa handled every detail with professionalism and grace — from keeping our timeline on track to managing vendors, setting up décor, and ensuring our families and wedding party were exactly where they needed to be. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the big day, which allowed me to be fully present and soak in every magical moment. That peace of mind was priceless.
She was always two steps ahead, anticipating needs before we even realized them, and solving any hiccup quietly and efficiently. Her communication leading up to the day was clear and thoughtful, and she truly went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life perfectly.
