Something Profound Weddings

day with so much care and attention. On the day of, they were keeping us on track and all with a smile. They are great. If you are looking for a planner that is super organized and prepared for all of the things, do not wait to book Rebecca and her team. They are fantastic.

end officiate our wedding, and Rebecca reinforced why that was the right decision. Her organization and expertise made planning our ceremony so easy, enjoyable, and customized to us. On our wedding day, her calming presence was so appreciated to help calm the nerves we inevitably had. Thank you, Rebecca!

ly and after setting our meeting, immediately sent a calendar invite and zoom link! I was instantly impressed). There are so many little ways Rebecca made us feel cared for (bday wishes, noting favorite colors, small gifts), and she also showed up in the big ways throughout the process. When we had a problem with a vendor or were at our wits end or when an elevator broke 1 week before the wedding (!!), she was right there to guide and comfort us and most importantly jump in to help. She had back up plans for back up plans, knew so many vendors, had countless alternatives and plenty of ideas to spare. Working with two involved brides is no easy task and she navigated our different personalities with ease! Hiring Rebecca was one of the first decisions we made when starting our wedding planning and it was by far one of the best decisions. We had a 225 person wedding and it went as smoothly as we dreamed, in no small part because of Rebecca.

I highly recommend her services for literally any wedding need!

you to see exactly how much (or how little) planning you have remaining in the process. She adds in any little details that you may have told her, and most helpful, things that you may not have even thought about; Like when to schedule your waxing appointments!! I am truly thankful for Rebecca, our wedding coordinator, as I could not have been so relaxed and calm on our wedding day without her meticulous planning. Rebecca went above and beyond what was expected of her, such as gathering all of our personal items and placing them in the suite at the end of the night when my designated wedding person dropped the ball. I really should have known that upgrading the bar may not be the best idea. LoL. I needed Rebecca in every sense of the word, and she delivered an unparalleled level of service that made our special day truly unforgettable. Thank you so much, Rebecca. We are sending everyone to you!!!! (apologize in advance for anyone that tries to stump the planner :) :) )

s well as our love story, and then two weeks before the ceremony sent us a script that delightfully weaved our personal story, a meaningful reading, and a blessing from my wife’s stepfather into the ceremony. Rebecca herself was so poised and spoke with clarity and conviction. We had used Rebecca for premarital counseling as well, and it was lovely to have her at the ceremony after she had seen us grow in communication throughout our relationship. We loved the counseling so much that we even extended to eight more sessions! Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Rebecca, and we highly recommend her for any and all of your wedding needs.

ca centered our relationship to make sure we trusted her with our wedding vision, which made communication with her and organization around our wedding super smooth. We really did not know how important she would be to us but she quickly became a dear friend. She has the type A-ness and loving personality that anyone planning a wedding needs. We felt so trusting with her throughout the entire planning process, but it wasn't until the actual wedding day that we really understood how critical she was to the operation. We truly believe Rebecca could run the world. Thank you so much - we are grateful for everything.

was successful because of her and her attention to detail. She also provided excellent suggestions. I will recommend her to everyone. Thank you Rebecca!

questions. Our day would not have been as special as it was without her. I highly recommend recruiting her to your team! Rebecca made the entire wedding process feel smooth and was so helpful. She was a key part of relieving our anxieties and such a help in all things leading up to and execution on the day of. The event was so memorable and fun in large part because of her experience and love for what she does. You truly feel taken care of and your wedding day will be so much better off with her on your dream team. It did not matter what came up in the bumps on day of (and believe me there are always going to be things that come up) she was able to handle anything and everything that came her way. Her wealth of knowledge and professionalism know no bounds. She was great in making sure we felt calm and collected and we were able to run by our thoughts and ideas with her. She is always there to make time for her couples and help in any way she can. She was vital in helping us navigate the little details we never knew/thought of and instrumental in walking us through the pieces we did have mapped out. She helped connect us to the right contacts and made sure everything went smoothly from contracts, to timelines, etc. She went above and beyond to make us feel loved and taken care of. She delivered the most exception wedding day either of us could have hoped for. Everyone from our friends, family, wedding party and other vendors had nothing but praise when speaking about Rebecca. Over the months of working with her she really engaged with us and got to know Ryan and I on a deeper level. She knew our likes and dislikes and helped to make our day personalized to us and our needs. She made sure all our vendors where up to speed on our timeline and the weekend events. All the logistics went smoothly because of her attention to detail. Rebecca even helped to make sure we got a break and had food at the ready above what our reception venue provided, making us a few plates during cocktail hour. When someone dropped a glass on the dancefloor, she was on top of it. From planning to execution it all succeeded because of Rebecca's tireless efforts to help us. She truly is one of the most caring and organized people I have ever met. You can tell she truly loves what she does and you feel it in the experience working with her. There is melancholy writing this because our time has come to an end with her and we loved every moment and interaction we had with her. It is with our highest recommendation of support and praise that we could provide that we recommend Something Profound Weddings and Rebecca Pope. I promise you there will be nothing but happiness and joy in having her a part of your team.

maids kept saying how prepared she was day-of for any and every issue (which were minimal thanks to her excellent planning). She was always on top of things with spreadsheets and checklists, and always held us accountable when making decisions before due dates. She also has so many helpful resources and documents that I would've been so confused without. I would recommend her to anyone!!

e-toothed comb, ensuring that nothing was left to chance. One of the most commendable aspects of working with them was their ability to seamlessly organize and coordinate with our various vendors. She ensured everyone was on the same page, which made our special day flow without a hitch. This not only eased our worries but also made the entire process smoother for everyone involved. Communication with Rebecca was always clear, concise, and prompt. She was always available and responded with clarity and efficiency. This level of accessibility and responsiveness is a rarity, and it was greatly appreciated. Lastly, having Rebecca as a sounding board for our myriad of ideas was invaluable. Her insights and expertise guided us, helping mold our vision into a reality far better than we could've ever imagined. She provided the perfect balance of professional advice and personal touch, ensuring our wedding was both flawless and uniquely ours. If you're seeking a coordinator who embodies excellence in organization, communication, and genuine passion for turning dreams into reality, look no further than Something Profound Weddings. Highly recommended!

the whole wedding planning process such an enjoyable & memorable experience and without Rebecca’s help, we would not have had such an amazing wedding day. Rebecca is the utmost professional, able to handle anything we could throw at her with her wealth of experience, her access/network to some of the best wedding vendors and simply her huge amount of knowledge about anything in the wedding industry. She was paramount in assisting us with navigating the selection of certain vendors, helping us with the event planning and logistics side, and outlining the steps needed to be properly married. We worked with Rebecca in preparation for our marriage in May 2023 where she served both as our wedding planner, day of coordinator, and officiant. In all three capacities she has gone above and beyond our level of expectations and has delivered to us one unforgettable wedding weekend that our closest friends, and family cannot stop raving about. As an officiant, over the course of a couple months Rebecca got to know us quite well as a couple and was able to craft a highly personalized and tailored wedding ceremony that intertwined many of the details she came to learn about our relationship including how we met, some of our anecdotes, having our personalities come across the ceremony, and the values and hopes we want to achieve in this marriage. It means the world that she was able to effectively craft a narrative but also deliver an eloquently, emotionally charged ceremony, in which guests could not stop saying how well structured and crafted it was but also how beautiful and thoughtful it was. As a day of coordinator and as our planner, all the logistics in the lead up and for the marriage day including our preparation for the wedding day, transportation & lodging, photography and videography covering us throughout our offsite and on-site photo locations, coordination of all the vendors for catering and décor and taking us to the finish line insuring cocktail hour, and dinner service all operated so smoothly without a hitch. Throughout the planning process, Rebecca always listened to any of our ideas or concerns, and was able to provided us sound reasoning and recommendations, while addressing our thoughts. She was always on top of everything, exceptionally organized and always keeping track of us making sure we were completing all the various wedding planning tasks needed. Working with her was so easy as she was so respectful, thoughtful, and kind to us. It is bittersweet as I will miss working with her and she simply did such an amazing job I wanted her to come celebrate with us on the dance floor, but she delivered a home-run wedding and one I know we will never forget. Rebecca if you read this you are the best!! Please book SPW & Rebecca because I cannot sing her praises and recommend her highly enough!

eived countless compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend!

about our relationship and life together, asking questions and just generally being a really easy, wonderful person to speak with! From there, she put together a ceremony that pulled in aspects of our story and the values we want in our marriage. Guests raved about the ceremony afterwards, some saying they learned things/changed the way they thought about marriage from her words! It was beautiful. Rebecca is a great speaker and everything went smoothly the day of. We're so thankful we found Rebecca to officiate and would recommend her to any couple!

us organized, gives us a push when we need it, offers sound advice and recommendations, listens to our ideas and incorporates them perfectly, and makes us feel better about everything every step of the way. She is professional but kind and fun. She also knows all the best vendors in the city. I recommend her to everyone looking for a planner. Don’t think twice!

she was flexible, easy to get ahold of, dependable, and so much fun to work with. By the time the day rolled around, I was stress free and excited to focus and be present throughout the day. Rebecca assembled the worlds most remarkable team of vendors and they were all a dream to work with. She knows her stuff and knows everyone you could ever need in the industry. She got my vision and I could trust her implicitly with every aspect of the day. The only complaint I have was that by the end of the process, I wanted Rebecca on the dance floor celebrating with us as a guest! I cannot recommend SPW highly enough. Do yourself a favor: book SPW now!

license requirements, etc). She came with so many cool ideas and the script she crafted–absolutely perfect. Working with her was easy, she was receptive to feedback and so so respectful of what we were wanting our ceremony to reflect. We had so many of our guests tell us how beautiful and special to us the ceremony felt. Thank you so much Rebecca!!

t understanding of how to express a couple's love for one another and help us write personalized vows for our big day. I am so thrilled and happy we did because she made the whole process so easy for us. We spoke with her two times over video call before the wedding, but the day of it was like we had known her forever. She made the wedding ceremony so special and true to us! Honestly, Rebecca took the time to get to know us ahead of time, which is why everything felt so us. She also provided us with details on how to apply & pick up our marriage license, she also mailed it in for us, and provided information for how to do the name change. We cannot recommend her enough!

d meaningful the ceremony was, thanks to Rebecca! We highly recommend using Rebecca as your wedding day officiant :)

on as a coordinator and she was invaluable for helping us tie up loose ends (there were many!) and get the whole vendor team ready for a smooth event. We did a few non-traditional things, had various family and friends helping, and the event was in a venue Rebecca was new to -- and she pulled everything off seamlessly! Or, at least that was my experience as the bride, which says a lot! You will not regret one penny spent on Rebecca's kind, attentive, and amazingly organized planning/coordinating. I was pulling my hair out trying to plan a wedding during an intense and stressful season at work, and really not enjoying the process. After bringing Rebecca on, things got so much better, and she was there to problem-solve, manage vendor questions and coordination, and generally kept me sane (i.e. No, I didn't need to be scouring Facebook for a card box if the idea filled me with dread. She'd check to see if the caterer had a basket we could use). I am completely and blissfully unaware of any problems that might have arisen the day of the wedding, and I truly believe that is because of Rebecca's planning and help.

She was awesome to work with and very responsive to any questions or suggestions we had throughout the whole process. We got married yesterday (10/8/22) and Rebecca led such a beautiful ceremony for us! I received several compliments from guests about how she did such an amazing job. Her sermon was very well written and thoughtful. We’re so glad we had her!

om the first day we booked her. She had helpful and interactive tools that helped streamline the process and ensured we knew exactly what needed to be completed along the way and when. For vendor-related items we didn’t need to be involved in, Rebecca handled them like the pro she is; we never once needed to jump in and were told by our vendors that she was great to work with. We were very detail-oriented and had concerns about many smaller items. Rebecca ensured these were not overlooked and was very helpful in suggesting possible solutions, reaching out to our vendors as needed, and keeping us calm. Rebecca helped map out every minute of the big day and ensured everyone involved was on the same page, including all 13 separate vendors we were working with. A handful of these vendors told us that her tools and communication were unlike any other coordinators they’ve worked with before, which helped ensure that everything went off without a hitch. On the day of, she was amazing - helping us get off to pictures on time with everything we needed, ensuring everything was set-up perfectly, checking in with us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed, and was just on top of everything for us. It allowed us, and our families, to relax. On top of everything else, at the end of the night, there were a couple minor items that were left behind at the venue that many people would’ve probably ignored/disposed of that Rebecca went out of her way to bring to our hotel, showing how much she really cares about every little thing being perfect! We highly recommend working with Rebecca!

nd that vision, coach and gently guide us through getting everything lined up and in order -- using a software task list and being gracious when I deviated. Rebecca re-assured us that we were on track, it was our first time doing this and it was nice to hear from a pro that we didn't need to worry leading up to the event. Rebecca and Noah truly shined the day of, a wedding is an overwhelming experience, filled with lots of intense emotions. They were able to keep the whole ceremony and reception running smoothly and seamlessly. We never, ever worried about a single thing and were able to be fully present, enjoying what may be the only time all our families are together. We are immensely grateful to Rebecca and her team, and would highly recommend her to any other couple out there considering a wedding coordinator. You pour so much energy and thought leading up to the day, it's truly important to have a competent coordinator that can make sure you're able to bring your whole self to the event the day of. Thank you once again, Rebecca

true to us. Throughout the process, Rebecca was organized, calm and helpful. So many of our guests commented on the ceremony and how touching it was. We highly recommend working with Rebecca!

ads up on the paperwork we'd need and set us up for success from the very beginning. Leading up to the ceremony we were given the options and the input we wanted, and on the day was immensely supportive and professional. We had a great time with her, and hope you do as well!

edding coordinator, officiant, and sourced a couple of our vendors. In everything we hired her to do, she absolutely crushed it. As an officiant, Rebecca guided us through a ceremony that celebrated our religious and cultural traditions. She never pushed anything on us, but offered options of what our ceremony could look like and crafted a custom ceremony based on what resonated with us as a couple. As a coordinator, Rebecca was the MVP of our wedding. We started working with her several months prior to source a few vendors, and her recommendations were fantastic. She was an excellent partner during the planning process, making herself available for regular check ins and providing detailed timelines and checklists to ensure we stayed on track. No matter what question I had, Rebecca was a great resource to making sure I had the right information to make a decision. She was professional with our other vendors and provided clear direction and timelines so our day ran smoothly. Another thing I loved about Rebecca was that she tailored her communication style to fit my preferences — I was a type A bride and craved lots of updates and she worked hard to make sure I felt I had what I needed. On the day of our wedding, Rebecca was a STAR. Seriously she was the reason I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding. She made sure the whole day ran smoothly and everyone knew where they were supposed to be. She was prepared for ANYTHING that came up and worked diligently to make sure our wedding day vision came to life. I am so thankful I hired Rebecca. If you are thinking of hiring a coordinator, HIRE REBECCA!!

wedding day vision come to life. As the owner of a wedding DJ company I have worked with many planners but rarely am I impressed enough / moved to review them. I would highly recommend Rebecca to any client looking for help with planning and wedding day execution.

he big celebration the year later. Throughout the process of both of these weddings Rebecca was incredibly helpful, so much so that the only real advice I give to anyone getting married is to GET A WEDDING PLANNER! I know I certainly appreciated all the effort Rebecca put into planning our weddings and I know my wife did even more. She does awesome work coordinating with all of the vendors, important people, and making sure everything goes smoothly. Aside from doing all of the usual stuff you might expect from a wedding planner, with her expertise she does things you would not think of or otherwise be able to do on your own. One instance of this was when she helped us negotiate our food and drink minimum down due to covid and saved us THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Rebecca 100% does amazing work throughout the planning process, day of coordinating, and goes way above and beyond making sure everything is perfect down to the smallest detail. I promise you will not regret hiring her to help you plan your wedding.

ecca is awesome at what she does. She is super organized, helps you stay on track for planning, is resourceful in helping you find and work with vendors, and is just a super genuine and thoughtful person to work with! She helped us plan a wedding amid the craziness of COVID, helping address any and all bumps in the road that are inevitable up until the day of! She is there for you and advocating for you throughout the process, start to finish. On the day of the wedding she freaking NAILED it. There are so many moving pieces - each of the wedding parties, the venue, the reception, all of the vendors - and she coordinated and executed everything for us beautifully. She is so thoughtful and well prepared. Need something you forgot? She has it. Know where you’re supposed to be? She does. Vendors supposed to be somewhere at a specific time? She’s on it. Your vision come to life? Yep, she did it. Seriously, our day went exactly as planned because of her. If you are debating whether or not a planner is worth it, I’ll tell you this - YES, especially Rebecca - whether you are having an intimate wedding or a big one!

excuse to chat with her. I deeply appreciated that Rebecca didn't have a singular vision of what a wedding "should" look like. Whenever we asked for what we should do for xyz tradition, she usually started her answer with "Well, you can really do whatever you want." As a type-A bride with a vision who didn't really enjoy wedding planning, Rebecca was the perfect planning partner. She never pushed for a particular result, but she researched options, provided pro/con lists, and helped us remember our priorities. I was particularly impressed with the timelines she started making in the last couple weeks before our wedding day – it was so reassuring to know that I didn't have to keep track of what everyone was supposed to be doing or even where I needed to be. I learned after our wedding day that she even let my partner drop off a surprise gift for me at her house so it was waiting for me at my getting-ready location! All that to say – if you're thinking of hiring a planner or coordinator, you can't go wrong with Rebecca.

meone to write it. However; Rebecca walked me thru some questions that helped me put how I felt into words and now I have an awesome speech and no anxiety over it. 100% go with Rebecca.

professional, knowledgeable, and full of personality. We are so happy and lucky to have Rebecca help us tie the knot on our special day!

so incredible to work with and did such an amazing job on our ceremony script. It was better than we ever could have imagined and had several guests compliment on it as well. Highly recommend RMP Chicago Events!

. She is extremely thorough, incredibly responsive, and she truly goes above and beyond for her clients.

e only had 8 weeks to plan our elopement, but she was on top of her duties as an officiant every step of the way! She also gave us extra advice from her experience as a wedding planner. I highly recommend using RMP as your officiant and/or wedding planner!

y - which included personalized notes from our family members. Our ceremony exceeded expectations. Rebecca is personable yet professional, an excellent communicator and super organized. She made certain we had everything we needed for a flawless wedding.

all the best vendors. I highly recommend her for any wedding or event - big or small!

ic job and has such attention to detail, listens to what you want, and handles all vendors professionally and perfectly. We planned everything in only a few months, and the day went just as planned! She handled every bump in the road for us, working to get us the perfect day. We loved her so much we hope to keep her for next year! Rebecca is also a licensed officiant and did a fantastic job marrying us. We did not get married in a church, so we had been nervous about finding the right officiant. I am so glad we found her! If you are looking for a planner, hire her!!!

anned. But I could not be happier that we hired her! She was my go-to with all questions and was a wealth of knowledge. She saw logistical holes in my planning that I had not even thought of. She was ready for any issue on the day of, including my dressing ripping. She is incredibly easy to talk to, diligent, detail-oriented, and very easily accessible. She was available at all hours of the day, even in the early hours of the morning by phone and email. She is incredibly professional and clearly an advocate of the client. She ensured that whatever I wanted or needed, I had available. I feel so lucky to have found a wedding planner like Rebecca. Highly recommend to anyone!!

aid. But from a "behind the scenes" perspective, I can tell you she is responsive, extremely organized, truly cares for her clients, and the best part - she has passion for what she does. She has an eye for the small details while still being able to maintain an event of 250+ guests. Truly an amazing planner/coordinator to work with! Highly recommended from this photographer!

group of vendors! The shoot was BEAUTIFUL, and I have gotten so much great feedback on the project. I contributed stationery designs, and Rebecca was really wonderful at providing initial direction and then giving me the freedom to run with the ideas I had. I highly recommend working with her!
