What can we say about Something Fabulous? They are absolutely incredible. We hired them for day-of-coordinator services, and they went above and beyond. They are so reasonably pric...
ed for what they offer, which is much more than what we've seen through other day-of-coordinators. We hired almost every vendor through their recommendation and their "Vendors We Love" list, and had no issues with anyone. We were lucky enough to be paired with Trent, who is an incredible coordinator and a wonderful person. He worked with us, kept open lines of communication, and ensured the day went off without any major issues. They start communication early on in the process, which is so much more than other coordinators. For any issues that did come up, he handled everything so we didn't have to deal with it, or weren't even aware of it, allowing us to enjoy the process and our day! Without him, our wedding would not have been the perfect day that it was. We heard from many friends that the day is not worth the amount of stress it causes, and honestly, because of Trent and Something Fabulous, we hardly felt any stress because they handled everything. They are experts in wedding planning in NC, and they it all with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pure joy. We cannot recommend them enough. Something Fabulous is the only day-of-coordinator or wedding planning service you should consider!

the day and we cannot say enough great things about him! He was so communicative, encouraging and allowed us to have a low stress wedding planning experience! He was so on top of everything day of, and always checking in on us, I never had to worry! We also has countless messages and comments from our guests about how awesome they thought he was! Couldn’t recommend Something Fabulous enough!!

elped bring our wedding vision to life and made sure no detail, big or small, was overlooked.
Our lead planner, Tommy, was absolutely amazing to work with. He was incredibly responsive, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process. Even our other vendors commented on how easy he was to work with! In the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the big day itself, Tommy made sure everything was taken care of, from managing the timeline to handling all the little details we never would have thought of ourselves. Everything ran seamlessly, and we felt completely at ease knowing he had it all under control.
What really stood out was how Tommy went above and beyond to make sure we could relax and enjoy our wedding. He made sure we had time with our guests and, just as importantly, that we were well fed, hydrated, and had drinks in hand! That level of care meant so much to us.
We cannot recommend the Something Fabulous team enough to any couple looking for a team that will go above and beyond to make their wedding day truly special!
I've had the privilege of working with Trent and the Something Fabulous team on both a personal and professional level and I cannot recommend them enough! There are not enough star...
s for how amazing they are!
As a professional bakery manager, I have delivered numerous wedding cakes and I could always tell when my delivery was a Something Fabulous wedding because a SF planner is always available, in the know, and on top of things. I've delivered cakes to venues and no one can find the planner or the planner is there but isn't aware what the cake should look like/where it should go. I never had any issues with Trent. Not only is he present, he's attentive, kind, and efficient! I always told myself: "when I get married, I'm calling Trent" and that's exactly what I did and it's one of the best wedding decisions I made!
I enjoyed planning my wedding but didn't want to go it alone so I booked Something Fabulous' event coordinator package. Essentially, I picked everything I wanted and made initial contacts but at three months until the wedding, they stepped in and took over. They took all the information I had and easily turned it into a timeline throughout the day. They effortlessly coordinated all vendors and their arrival time on wedding day before it even occurred to me that I needed to do it. Basically, anything my husband or I was concerned about or thought "oh no, I forgot..." Trent and Madison already had it done and handled. There were so many times throughout the day when my husband or I would go looking for Trent or Madison (but not very far because they were always close by and ready to assist) to address a concern and before we could even finish explaining what still needed to happen, Trent quickly responded with "already done". And they don't stop working throughout the day. Even during the ceremony they seamlessly corralled our excitable wedding parties and effortlessly directed them. During cocktail hour they quickly flipped our space for reception and managed our 60 wedding guests while we took photos. They even took the time to bring us both drinks right after the ceremony even though they were both busy. They had the space flipped and the guests sat in time for the reception. Once reception started, Madison made sure to consistently check in with whatever I needed. She brought me so many waters (making sure I was never thirsty) and even helped me pack my stuff from that morning. Basically, if you're looking for someone to seamlessly run your wedding day for you all while ensuring you and your spouse never lift a finger, look no further than Something Fabulous because they have you covered with any and everything you'll need. Thank you Trent and Madison for making our day stress free and fun for us!
Choosing Something Fabulous was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Our lead planner, Trent was amazing from beginning to end.
Trent really understood us and our fami...
ly dynamics. He handled everything with patience and care. Whenever I was unsure about something I would simply say “Ask Trent.” He became our go-to person for every question and little worry. He always knew what to do and made us feel at ease.
Ashley was also wonderful throughout the planning process. She was so helpful with all the spreadsheets and vendor choices. She kept things organized and made the planning process much easier for us.
Our wedding day went exactly as we hoped and honestly felt perfect. The team stayed on top of the vendors and schedules. They took care of every detail and helped us stay within our budget.
What meant the most was how much Trent genuinely cared about us. Even on such a busy day he kept checking on me and my husband. After the wedding it honestly felt strange not having something to ask Trent anymore. We had gotten so used to saying “Let’s ask Trent.” That is how important he became to our wedding journey and to us personally.
We would 100% recommend Something Fabulous. Thank you, Trent, Ashley, and the entire team for making our wedding so special. We will always be grateful.
We cannot recommend Something Fabulous Weddings & Events

, responsive, thoughtful, and always willing to help with anything we needed.
On the wedding day, they were truly lifesavers! They handled last-minute changes, unexpected emergencies, and every little detail with incredible flexibility and calm. Because of them, we were able to relax, be present, and fully enjoy our day without worrying about the logistics.
Ashley and Madison went above and beyond to make our wedding so special, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they did! If you’re looking for amazing wedding planners who genuinely care about their couples, look no further!
You always hear people say their wedding was the perfect day, and now I completely understand what they mean! Hiring Something Fabulous Weddings was the best decision we made when ...
we were planning our big day. Our lead planner, Trent Crumpler, and his crew were the key reason our day felt so fun and seamless! We got married this May at the Museum of Life + Science in Durham, and I learned about SF because of the museum's recommended provider list. After one intro call, I knew they would be a great fit for us, and now, I truly don't believe we could have done this without them. There are so many moving pieces, and Trent was the mastermind behind why our wedding was so smooth and stress-free.
My husband and I really got to relax and enjoy our day because we knew we were in great hands. We wanted our day to have a lot of personality, and we lucked out with Trent because he had the personality to match it! He is so fun and supportive, which made the process and our day even brighter. Everyone loved him, and he fit right in with our entire wedding party! I'm also very thankful for his opinions during the rental appointment because decision fatigue is real, and he has great taste!
Before the wedding, Trent and the Something Fabulous team also helped us with a big crisis when our original photographer abruptly closed their business and left 100+ brides with no answers and no backup solution. He immediately jumped on the phone with me to listen, understand the situation and game plan with good next steps and solutions. Trent quickly reached out to his network to continue to help problem solve, and he actually connected me with a fantastic photographer (Rose Trail Images) referral who we loved and booked for the wedding!
If you are looking for a wedding planner, I 100% recommend Trent and the Something Fabulous Wedding team!
I truly could not imagine a better team to help us bring our garden disco wedding dreams to life!

ent and Ashley at Something Fabulous in January, we had only booked our venue, photographer, DJ, and had a Pinterest board full of ideas. We originally planned to hire only a day-of coordinator, but after our first consultation with Trent, we immediately knew we needed Something Fabulous to help execute our vision.
We chose an a la carte package with event management and design, which was perfect for our budget while still giving us exactly the support we needed. From the start, Trent and Ashley went above and beyond, helping with design meetings, attending vendor appointments with us, and offering advice that made the entire process feel manageable and exciting instead of stressful.
On the wedding day itself, they were incredible. Everything flowed so seamlessly that our guests were genuinely amazed. As a very “Type B” bride, I expected at least a little chaos, but Trent and Ashley made the entire day feel effortless, calm, and organized from start to finish.
Beyond being amazing planners, they became confidants, problem-solvers, and such a comforting presence throughout the process. We truly cannot imagine our wedding day without them and cannot recommend Something Fabulous enough.

r planner, Trent Crumpler, was truly exceptional — the kind of person you want in your corner on a day that matters this much.
Trent handled every detail with calm confidence and precision, making the entire day feel smooth, seamless, and stress-free. Because of him, we were able to actually enjoy our wedding rather than worry about logistics.
It honestly would not have been possible to pull off the day we envisioned without Trent’s execution, organization, and care. If you’re looking for a planner who is professional, deeply competent, and genuinely invested in making your wedding perfect — Something Fabulous delivers.

ogether. Trent and his team were incredible! He handled all of the communication with the vendors the week of the wedding so we were able to relax and spend time with family. We had such an incredible, stress-free day because I knew our wedding was in great hands. He and Ariana were incredibly attentive to my husband and I, during the day, but not in the way. So many of our friends and family commented at what a great job he did and how smooth the day went. If you are newly engaged, my first piece of advice would be HIRE TRENT!

when Trent & co. were involved. It was 1,000,000% worth every penny to have their knowledge, expertise, and connections backing us up through the whole process. We obviously got to know the team well too and they are incredible humans as well as planners. We will be the lucky, annoying, people who say wedding planning isn’t stressful because of SWF. We did work with them for full planning services and they truly did it all. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone who’s getting married or has an event that they need planners for. Seriously, don’t bother looking elsewhere. This team is EVERYTHING, and Trent is considered a friend now. We love SFW!
I do not have the words to explain how we felt about about your efforts to make this wedding so spectacular. Trent and his team have been with us every step of the way, and it was ...

Trent's organization, calm demeanor, and attention to detail during the planning process and the day of the event were flawless. From the bottom of our hearts -- thank you so very, very much for everything you did for us. We were so glad that you were able to participate in the events before and after. You certainly were loved by all.

of this team is truly unmatched. We opted for the "event planning" service offered (similar to day-of-coordinator) but Trent provided SO much more than just day of coordination. We worked closely together for months leading up to the wedding and his team went above and beyond making sure every detail was perfect. Since our first meeting leading up to wedding day, Trent was so easy to work with and my husband and I felt no stress at all wedding weekend thanks to him. He had everything covered, was always around to check on us, and always ensured we were having the best time. I cannot thank Trent enough for all of his hard work. The Something Fabulous team is incredible and I HIGHLY recommend their services for any event! They are just the best <3

We trusted them and executed our vision perfectly. We would 10/10 recommend them again and again!

We ended up using them for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding, and it was truly the absolute best weekend of our lives. We could not have had such an incredible wedding weekend without Something Fabulous!

amics. We got so much more than we could have ever hoped for with this incredible team. Our wedding day was stress-free because of all the little details SF handled. Our space looked beautiful—we brought in some décor and the team set up the room better than we could have ourselves. Trent confirmed all the vendors before I could even think to do it—even ones I forgot should be confirmed. When we had a button mishap 30 minutes before the ceremony, the SF team appeared with a sewing kit to save the day. Trent was our lead planner with Brittni as the supporting planner. They made sure we (and our guests) were well taken care of all day. We also were able to add on to our contract so that SF helped our “Silent Disco” afterparty. Tommy was the planner for that and made sure the pizza was delivered, everybody had their headsets, and that people knew when the buses were coming. I can’t speak highly enough of the SF team. They guided us on the little details that we didn’t even think about and answered bigger questions like how much we should tip our vendors. We are still getting compliments on how seamlessly our wedding ran, thanks largely to Something Fabulous. Their energy on wedding day made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I can’t recommend them enough!

mething Fabulous made the process easy for us.
They made our dream wedding a reality, exceeding all expectations and making the entire journey stress-free and enjoyable. Their organizational skills are unparalleled. From creating a meticulous timeline to managing multiple vendors, everything ran seamlessly. Their creativity was incredible—they took our design ideas and turned them into a stunning, cohesive vision that had the guests in awe. They don't do empty lip service; they will stop and tell you if you're going down the wrong path or suggest better alternatives to achieve the same result. They had a great preferred vendors list, and we recommend using those vendors. We loved and had no communication issues with anyone from their list. Trust their expertise and experience!
Ashley and Trent went above and beyond for us. Due to the hectic day, I (the bride) ended up not getting any wedding cake. I was bummed out, but a couple months later, I received a wonderful surprise. Trent reached out to our cake vendor to have our another, smaller cake shipped all the way to Texas! That level of thoughtfulness isn't required nor guaranteed with other planners.
If you’re looking for wedding planners who are passionate, dedicated, and treat your day as if it were their own, look no further than Something Fabulous. They are worth every penny, and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

anners/coordinators, but looking back we are so happy we had them! Your wedding day goes by so fast and having their team there to handle all the little details/things that come up so you and your family can focus on the day is amazing. They also are all just friendly people, so meeting with them virtually ahead of the wedding was easy and fun! All of my family and friends were so impressed with their care and help too; everyone wanted a Tommy of their own to help them in their day to day :) I would highly recommend their group to anyone getting married

on track for key milestones, gave great suggestions as we were looking for specific ideas and vendors, and were so supportive with vendor communication and logistics leading up to and at the wedding. Rachel and Tommy were our day of support and they helped us feel at ease and covered every detail so that we didn't have to really keep track of anything. Having worked in events, it was amazing to be on the side of experiencing a very well run event. Not having to make any decisions and having everything pre arranged for the weekend of the wedding was amazing. They even made sure we had a few minutes to ourselves where we got to eat and enjoy the food! Huge kudos to Trent, Rachel and Tommy for making our big day simple and flawless so that we could enjoy all of the fun with our family and friends! Highly recommend!

They set up and tore down all our decorations, including intricate details like centerpieces and attaching our garland onto the rented cross on the day of. Also one of the groomsmen ripped his pants and Ashley even stepped in to sew it so you couldn't notice! We couldn't be more pleased!

You can tell Trent and Ashley truly care about their company, their reputation, the services they provide, and most importantly their clients. Trent and Ashley answered emails and questions so quickly and so thoroughly - AND I don't think there was any question where they didn't immediately have an answer. They worked seamlessly with our vendors and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was prepared perfectly for our special day. Trent was our lead coordinator, with Brittni assisting him on wedding day, and I can confidently say that everything was flawless! I was not the least bit stressed or anxious because I knew that we were in fantastic hands. Everything was perfectly executed and I know that was in HUGE part to Trent and Brittni's hard work! I will shout to the rooftops to anyone who will listen how incredible this team is - hire them, you will be BEYOND thankful that you did!

We hired ‘Something Fabulous’ for our wedding in Currie (just outside Wilmington). Despite the distance from the triangle area, Ashley and Trent were with us every step of the way....
My (now) husband and I were totally lost and overwhelmed with everything that goes into planning a wedding so we decided on their full planning service. I’m so glad we did! I had a million ideas and I felt like I was all over the place. Ashley and Trent helped me organize all of those ideas in a tasteful, but cost-efficient manner. As someone that can get carried away way too easily, the budget planner was a savior throughout the entire planning process. With Trent and Ashley’s help, we stayed on budget without compromising any of the visions we had for our big day. On to the wedding day…it was so perfect and exceeded everything I had ever dreamed of. Kari and Brittni were our coordinators for the day and they absolutely killed it. They were consistently attentive and knowledgeable. They made sure I had a drink in my hand all night! I also had a lot of random items I had brought for the welcome table, memorial table, favor table, etc. I didn’t really even know how I wanted it all set up so I gave them creative freedom and the final products were gorgeous, cohesive, and functional. Three things I’ve always heard about weddings:
1. Planning is stressful.
2. There’s a lot of moving pieces that go into a wedding and it’s almost inevitable that something will go wrong on wedding day.
3. They’re expensive.
Our experience with ‘Something Fabulous’ taught us that these things can be avoided with the right planning team. Looking back on the planning, I do not remember feeling overwhelmed or worried because I knew Trent and Ashley had it handled. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I certainly didn’t notice. The day went by so smoothly! Everything and everyone was on time. Setup and breakdown was efficient and simple despite all the little (and some big) details I wanted to be included. Our wedding was only as expensive as we wanted it to be. We told Ashley and Trent our budget and they made sure we stuck with it. That was a great feeling to have at the end of our wedding day knowing it was perfect without breaking the bank. So many of my guests have expressed how flawless and fun our wedding was and that is in large part due to the amazing team that ‘Something Fabulous’ is!

l human beings who really care about helping you create an incredible experience. We did the partial planning option which was perfect for us. We knew we could do a lot of the initial coordination with our vendors but needed some structure and guidance to help us get started in terms of vendor selection and understanding how to break down our budget. The tools and resources they provided made it easy for us to select an INCREDIBLE vendor team, and Ashley was available for questions throughout. The final few months leading up to the wedding Ashley took over the coordination with our vendors which allowed us to focus on getting ready for the big day. Ashley and her team who were with us on our wedding day did a fantastic job making sure everything was exactly as we’d hoped. We cannot say enough good things about Ashley, Trent, and the entire Something Fabulous team!

Trent and Ashley were so patient and so helpful and did everything they could to ensure that our wedding went perfectly. And I mean perfectly! The entire day of the wedding we (the couple) were stress free and happy, and if anything did go wrong, we had no idea.
Trent and Ashley were also AMAZING at really taking our vague ideas of what we wanted and turning them into a full blown vision of the perfect Tangled themed wedding. From décor to seating charts, they were always providing the best suggestions. They also went above and beyond to suggest ways that we could be more budget friendly and still keep our vision the way we wanted it!
When we first started our planning process we were stressing about where to even begin when looking for vendors, and all that stress vanished when we were provided with a curated list of vendors based on our budget and vision for the wedding. This saved us SO much time and stress, and really let us focus on the details instead of spending hours reading every review for every local vendor.
We cannot express how grateful and thankful we are to the team at Something Fabulous Wedding and Events for helping to ensure that our wedding day was absolutely magical. Hiring them was the absolute best decision that we made for our wedding and given the chance to do it all over (not that we ever would), they would be the first people we would go to.
Thank you so much to Something Fabulous Wedding and Events for helping us have the PERFECT wedding.

ess of our wedding, overall we felt a sense of security knowing that our every need was well taken care of from that point forward. We received a tremendous amount of information from the Something Fabulous team for every little detail that we wanted as well as some very unique and creative ideas that Trent and Ashley recommended to make our day even more special. The ease of communication was truly a huge help and we found that they both were always one step ahead of us with any need that we had, even if we didn't realize it was needed at the time. Looking back on our Wedding, I can say it was absolutely the most beautiful day of our lives and we are thankful to have the guidance and never-ending support of the Something Fabulous team.

y went above and beyond to make our day special! We worked mainly with Ashley leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Ashley went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding went as we had envisioned. She was quick to respond to my many emails, helped us stay on track in the last few months, and made sure we had everything we needed for our day to be stress free. We were married on the Friday that Hurricane Ian came through Raleigh, and her and Trent truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was so special, despite the weather and all the last minute changes that had to be made. They executed our day perfectly and made sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it despite having to change our ceremony location/decor the night before due to weather! Ashley worked tirelessly to make sure we still had all the aspects of our day that were important to us, despite the weather. They went above and beyond in every way, even taking time to transport our wedding party and older family members in their car from one location to another so they wouldn't have to walk in the rain. We are so grateful that we booked Ashley & Trent. We cannot speak highly enough of them and promise you won't regret working with them!

fore the wedding date. As the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, which is worth all the money. Thanks you Something Fabulous for making our day perfect!

ice and they were so understanding and accommodating about it. They were really responsive throughout the whole process and made sure everything was set before the day of the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, they were super organized and made everything run smoothly. If there were any issues or problems, I didn't know about it because they were so good about resolving and dealing with it. I was a DIY bride so I had a lot of decorations that I made and they did an amazing job setting everything up like I wanted.

when things needed to get done. They knew which vendors to connect us with (florist, hair & makeup, etc.), made sure we stayed in our budget, came up with a beautiful design board, and always made sure we had options. Communication was great and always timely. I truly don’t know how I would’ve planned my wedding without them!

orked with Trent during most of the duration and months leading up to my magical wedding day. I have a million amazing things to say about Trent but I will try to narrow them down the best that I can. Trent is so amazingly meticulous with every aspect of the planning process. From flowers, table setting, decorations, to helping me with my wedding shoes he gets an A++. Trent is also so wonderful with making sure you stay in budget. We went over in a few categories, but Trent made sure we budgeted accordingly in other places to stay within our price range. Trent is a friend. I had quite a few meltdowns, and needed someone to vent to often during stressful months. Trent was my confidant and ALWAYS helped me. Trent was my saving grace, angel, rock, (one of the many) biggest supporters (if not my #1) on my big day. My wedding day was literally the most spectacular day of my life, and that's all thanks to him. I could literally go on forever talking about how amazing of a person, professional, and wedding planner he is, but I may cry because that's how special he is to me. You will not be let down in the slightest by hiring Ashley and Trent, I promise.

nd how detail-oriented they were. Even when we were many months out from our wedding, they were incredibly communicative, and they were understanding and flexible when we had to move our wedding date due to COVID. Once we were a few months out from the wedding, we had a thorough final details meeting where we talked through all the little things—everything from ceremony plans to what kind of napkin fold we wanted at the reception! We used a venue with a very short window for set-up, and they coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure everything was set up in record time and even picked up our cake for us! The whole day, they were working behind the scenes to make sure everything went according to plan, and I didn’t feel like I had to worry at all—they knew what needed to be done much better than I did! Ultimately, everything went fabulously due to their incredible work. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

t to relax and drink mimosas while they worked their butts off and made our wedding dreams come true! 🥰 In the weeks leading up to our wedding they were very responsive to every email, and took care of contacting all our vendors. Trent and Ashley were patient and understanding when we decided to change our layout 3 times. Trent went to our venue with us to help pick out furniture for our rental space, go over our layout and had great input to help with all of our decisions. I have horrible indecisiveness and Trent was so incredibly helpful with this! We met with Trent multiple times virtually and in person and we felt so at ease and knew Something Fabulous was the perfect fit and they are incredibly well priced. They also have great vendor recommendations and connections (shout-out to our DJ, Willis, at Willis J Entertainment!) ALSO. The bustle on my dress busted and the second it happened both Trent and Ashley were right there with a repair kit helping me fix it and kept me from panicking! I can't say it enough. BOOK.THEM.NOW!

If you are currently planning a wedding and are feeling overwhelmed, Trent and Ashley are the perfect fit for wedding planners! They put us at ease within the first five minutes of our initial meeting and finally took the stress from months of planning and organizing on our own off of our shoulders. We wished we had contacted them much sooner!
With our Day Of Coordination Package, they provided the needed guidance and structure in order to execute a truly unforgettable, organized and seamless wedding day. In the weeks leading up to the big day they gave us a detailed final “to do” list to help us ensure that no stone was left unturned and they took over the duties of calling all of our vendors to establish themselves as the main point of contact. The package also included a final meeting with Something Fabulous and the manager of our venue; This meeting provided us with the opportunity to come together as a team in order to review our wedding day itinerary to make sure all logistics were in place.
Our favorite aspects of working with Trent and Ashley were their fabulous personalities and their abilities to maintain structure with the wedding party and guests; while also making everyone laugh and enjoy the process! We were also incredibly impressed with their decorating and how they were able to bring our vision of the wedding to reality and make it better than we could have imagined!
Hire them! You will not regret having a wonderful team to support you and your vision for your wedding and they will help you to have fun during the process!
