Being close to a month after our wedding we have absolutely LOVED getting weekly sneak peaks of our photos and a video trailer. Liz even bustled my dress after sunset photos. Our family and friends have been raving about how kind and professional Conrad and Liz are. They took the time to take group photos of our families after the ceremony. Some of our extended family members now have professional photos together for the first time in years. We initially met Liz, Conrad, and Christy at my sister Grace and now brother-in-law Ian's wedding. We saw how beautifully they captured their day and knew immediately they would be perfect for our big day. We worked with Liz for our engagement session which we did in Chicago in the gardens surrounding Lincoln Park Zoo and North Avenue Pier. This was an amazing opportunity for Liz to get to know us as a couple and become comfortable being photographed professionally. Liz truly can turn anyone into models and we had so much fun during this session! We were laughing/giggling the whole time and could not stop cheesing. The photos turned out great and were perfect for our save the dates! We actually found our wedding venue (The BRIX on the Fox) through following SBP on Instagram - and their experience photographing at The BRIX turned out to be super helpful, as they knew all the best spots to take photos both inside and around The BRIX and helped to plan out the perfect first look spot for me and my husband. Liz and Christy are a dynamic duo/match made in heaven! They have a way of visualizing a space and positioning you in it to make the most beautiful photos! They somehow made a tree with a bunch of dead leaves come to life and look so fall-esque and beautiful. They were the best hype women and their positivity/friendliness truly made for a great experience. Christy, thank you for putting in a work out throwing up my veil for golden hours photos (those photos are some of our faves). Conrad is their amazing videographer and spent the day capturing the fine little details and big picture moments with our ceremony and reception. I especially loved that Conrad videoed me and Trev reading our letters to each other and plans to utilize this audio for our short film. This was such a powerful moment and I cannot wait to see how the video turns out! We will forever be eternally grateful for this group and know they will make every couples' wedding day as special and wonderful as they made ours! We love you guys!

Liz and Marcella made my entire day of timeline (which I was SO stressed about), which was incredibly helpful. Day of-they all coordinated the day making it flow so easy for me. Not only were my husband and I impressed, but our entire wedding party still talks about how amazing our photographers were. I WILL be using them again in the future for any photography needs.

I loved Something Blue so much that they were the first vendor we booked only a few weeks after our engagement and we essentially planned our wedding around the dates they were available! From the start, Conrad listened to what we wanted and made sure we had the best memories of our special moments. Our engagement photos at the Naperville Riverwalk captured the fall season and captured how excited we were to get married. On our wedding day, Conrad listened to what shots we wanted (and didn't want), but also wanted to have some fun with us and capture all the small things! Conrad, Lindsay, and Ryan showed up to my house on time on the day of our wedding, were so fun to be around, and Lindsay especially took great care of my dress and veil as we walked around the campus of Elmhurst University after our ceremony and during my bustling at the Metropolis Ballroom. Most of the time, we didn't even realize they were there, which was important to us during our church ceremony and reception. Our sneak peek pictures were absolutely amazing (as expected!) and we can't wait to work with the whole Something Blue team in the future as we continue to capture our family memories in this new chapter as Mr. and Mrs.!

Christy & Jackson were also part of our wedding day team with Christy finding the perfect light and fluffing my dress in the perfect way as well as getting my groom and his guys to cooperate for getting ready photos! idea. I am not a photo person and they were so sweet about it all and I forgot they were there half the time. They managed to work with our very large wedding party which I'm sure was not easy, but they did it in stride and did not show any signs of being stressed (or annoyed) they worked hard to get us to each place ahead of schedule which made our day that much smoother and we were actually able to enjoy our guests and take a moment to relax. He got creative and from the photos, you would have no idea that it was raining or that we were under an overhang in most photos. iz was my wife's main photographer during the day. We had all of our pre-sessions with her, and she helped us think through the types of photos we were going to want throughout the day so that we didn't have to come up with them on the spot. On the day, Liz was professional, timely, and made sure my wife received all the shots with her, her parents, and her bridesmaids as desired. For my groomsmen and me, Christy was our main photographer for the first half of the day. She was great with both my nephew (the ring bearer) as well as with all of our little nieces and nephews (15 in total and she was able to get us all in a shot together!). Liz, Christy, and Ashley were creative with the various spots we shot at, suggestions for poses, and patient with the craziness of our large families / bridal party and our many requests for ad hoc pictures. Following the wedding, we received our sneak peak and the full gallery promptly (within 2 months for the full set) and love the way everything turned out. We highly recommend any of the team members for your special event / day / shoot!

We talked to so many different florists and djs, but only one photography team, and that was Something Blue. Hands down, they are the BEST decision we made for our wedding day. Liz & Conrad were our photographers and they were truly phenomenal. They instantly put us at ease and made sure we were comfortable. Liz was so sweet and attentive; she was always offering me water in the heat and helping carry the back of my heavy dress when we moved to different locations. Conrad was amazing as well, also getting us water/drinks and offering to grab our boutonnieres and corsages from the fridge to make sure our families had them for pictures. They truly care about you and your partner; they made everything so incredibly easy and fun and we are so so lucky to have worked with them! The pictures they took are GORGEOUS and so dreamy!! We got a few sneak peeks three days after our wedding, and a bunch more less than a week later. They got amazing shots, and there is so much variety! I don’t usually like how I look in pictures, but I cannot stop admiring these. These photos make me feel so confident and beautiful. They also captured so many sweet and silly moments between my fiancé and I that I will cherish forever. SB was also extremely wonderful during the planning process. Their responses were always timely and helpful, which we appreciated so much. We worked with Liz leading up to our wedding, and she is such a kind and genuine person who wants the best for your special moments. We cannot say enough great things about her and SB, and we will definitely be using them for future photo sessions!

e out so horrible. We were posed badly, the lighting was terrible (I am a little tanner then my husband) and we felt so awkward with our photographer throughout our first engagement session. Something Blue was completely different. Our photographers were Liz and Christy. Liz did our engagement session which turned out so beautiful! Liz went around and found these gorgeous spots for us to take pictures in and we would be walking and Liz would stop us because she loved the light in a certain spot. Our pictures turned out amazing!!!!! Liz and Christy were so great during our wedding day as well. Our photos turned out amazing. They got so many beautiful shots in different areas at our wedding venue and these beautiful sunset photos that I absolutely adore. Although, we were rushed at a couple of points and I would've loved a couple more pictures of the reception room, the pictures were gorgeous, and Liz and Christy were AMAZING. We also hired Ashley for our day of coordinator. Ashley was so sweet and did an amazing job dealing with all of our vendors and creating a day of timeline. She helped set up our reception space so perfectly and had to deal with an uninvited guest and a bit of family drama. It was so worth it to hire her. Ashley, Liz and Christy were amazing! s before the wedding date. My sister has worked with Something Blue for years, and when we decided we would get married, Liz and Lindsay jumped on board immediately. The situation was unusual. My dad was dying, and decided to have a VERY fast wedding so my dad could be there. Sadly, he wasn't able to be there, as he died just days before the wedding. We had the wedding to celebrate our partnership and to celebrate my father's life. Not only did Liz and Lindsay play an integral role in capturing the event, they made suggestions to create even more memorable moments. When a blizzard started, and there were 6" of snow falling, they picked us up in their van, and brought us to an unforgettable location for our First Look shots. They were fun. They HAD fun.
