We absolutely LOVED having our wedding reception at The Snapper Inn. The venue is stunning, the food is amazing, and Josh and the team were wonderful to work with. We live in San D...
iego, so most of the coordination had to be done over the phone. Right from the first time we contacted them, they were incredibly kind and responsive. Josh was patient with our many questions, and his experience at hosting weddings made us feel at ease, despite us being across the country. On our wedding day, they were on top of everything. In the middle of our reception, a strong thunderstorm warning was issued, unknown to us, and the Snapper team had clear side covers up around the pavilion in no time. My husband and I had a waiter dedicated specifically to us (something I’m sure they mentioned when we booked the wedding, but it was a detail I had forgotten), which was another one of the many perks of having our reception here. Ewin (forgive me if that’s incorrect spelling) was excellent, holding our drinks while we were taking pictures, bringing us waters every hour at my husband’s request, and was even there with an umbrella over my head when I was outside talking to guests and it started raining. I’m so grateful to Josh, Ewin, and the entire Snapper team for giving us a truly unforgettable experience!
I would give The Snapper Inn 100000 stars if I could. My husband and I got married there on May 29th 2026 and I could never imagine a more perfect venue, staff, and experience. Fro...
m day one touring the venue we knew this was our place!! Josh and his team are absolutely amazing and we’re so helpful the entire process. They truly cared about us and our day, everyone was amazing. Our guests have not stopped texting and calling us to compliment the service, food, venue, and experience they had at our wedding. I wish I could re live this day 100 times over and I’d book Snapper inn every single time over! Can’t thank them enough and genuinely have never been to a more attentive and incredible wedding venue in my life!!
SNAPPER INN IS THE BEST
Our wedding at The Snapper Inn was truly perfect in every way. Josh and his staff are unbelievably amazing and we could not have asked for a better team to help bring our day to li...
fe. Mike, a member of the staff, was also incredible. He kept coming up to my husband and me throughout the night to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed.
So many of our guests came up to us saying things like, “I have never been to a wedding where a server asked if I wanted a drink. I usually have to go up to the bar.” That level of service really stood out and made the night even more special.
It has been a week since our wedding and our guests are still reaching out to tell us how impressed they were by the staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere. Many said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Some guests who had never been to The Snapper Inn before told us they cannot wait to go back after experiencing how wonderful everything was.
My husband and I were beyond satisfied with every part of our experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless, beautiful, and filled with care. We have not one bad thing to say. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to The Snapper Inn!!
I had my wedding at the Snapper Inn September 14th 2024 and this place was absolutely amazing. From the start Josh was so accommodating in making sure everything was done right! Th...
ey go above and beyond to make your day special and not have to worry about a single thing. The food was great and the view was outstanding. My Father decided to surprise us with the raw bar option during the cocktail hour and it was so worth it! A perfect sunset while guest are eating clams oysters and shrimp was a hit. I wish I could do it all over again and would not even think twice about having Snapper Inn for my venue. It was beyond perfect I truly cannot find anything I could complain about. Thank you Josh and everyone at Snapper Inn for making our wedding day perfect!
We had our wedding at the Snapper Inn in September, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The food was amazing, the staff was so professional, and everyone went above and ...
beyond to make it a perfect night. Josh was our coordinator and he was incredible, he made sure the pavilion was beautiful, and executed everything perfectly start to finish. He scheduled the night, and the flow of the reception was just perfect. It was really a wonderful experience, so beautiful, and so much fun. Really can’t recommend them enough!
The pavilion was an incredible space! The views of Great River and the grounds- impeccable!! Top that with the BEST food and attention from the staff- we had the dream wedding. 145...
guests, plenty of room to dance, mingle and sit comfortably for dinner. Josh was absolutely on top of everything! So well organized and made great suggestions. (The cigar bar was a hit!) Thank you Snapper and staff- could not have dreamed of a better experience.
Snapper Inn is a beautiful wedding venue, but most importantly, Josh and Kerry were fantastic to work with. Throughout every step of the process they were helpful and organized and...
quick to respond to any questions. The day of the wedding, Josh handled everything, making sure things ran smoothly and on schedule, and made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed.
As for the venue itself, absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour out on the lawn, and our reception in the outdoor pavilion. It was exactly what we were looking for – something outside and unique, not a traditional indoor/ballroom reception. We have beautiful pictures, as do all of our guests. I’ve heard that the food was great, though I can’t say that that’s something I was focused on myself. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding on the water, you truly cannot find any better than the Snapper Inn. Highly recommend!
Amazing from start to finish!

e process made sure everything was perfect and flowed smoothly! The spot is the gorgeous for an outdoor waterfront setting with the perfect sunset pictures. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone keeps telling snapper inn was one of the greatest and most unique places for a wedding. I know none of this would be happened without the amazing staff the snapper inn has! Thank you!
After looking at a number of venues with nothing checking off all boxes on our “must have” list, Matt suggested The Snapper Inn. Communication from the start was excellent! Matt a...
nd I were quickly able to make an appointment to come view the restaurant/grounds. Our first meeting with Josh went perfectly. He answered all of our questions prior to asking them, and had a plan a,b,c, and d should we have had inclement weather the day of our wedding. We knew at that meeting that was where we were going to get married. Customer service was beyond excellent throughout the year and a half planning process. All emails and phone calls were answered quickly and thoroughly either by Josh or Kerry. Any requests we had for that day were done perfectly! The grounds of The Snapper Inn are beautiful. We had our ceremony overlooking the water, cocktail hour at the outside bar/dock, and our reception in the beautiful pavilion. Everything was set up so elegantly! The day of our wedding all staff was excellent and attentive. Josh made sure no guests visiting the restaurant for dinner that evening walked outside during our ceremony/cocktail hour. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was! Matt and I recently went back for dinner and were remembered by the staff. I would highly recommend the Snapper Inn for a wedding and any other event needed! We are so thrilled with our choice to use them and can not wait to celebrate with future events there!

l wedding halls and the Snapper Inn was just that! All of our wedding guests loved the outdoor space and delicious food. Josh was AMAZING to work with and made sure every detail of our big day was perfect. He was so responsive throughout the planning process and really just made the days leading up to the wedding so much less stressful. I would recommend the snapper inn to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to planning future events at this amazing venue
We can not seem to stop thinking about how incredible our wedding day was at the Snapper Inn! Both Kerry and Josh worked so hard to give us the perfect wedding and everything came ...
together even better than we ever could imagine. So many of our guests came up to myself, husband and parents saying it was THE BEST wedding they had ever gone to! The food as always is top notch and you can't beat the spectacular views to go along with that meal. If you are looking for a venue that's NOTHING like your typical LI cookie cutter wedding then please consider The Snapper Inn. It was the last venue we saw when deciding what spot was right for us and canceled on 3 other places after meeting with Kerry. Once you see the views of the river by the cocktail hour tent and how amazing inside the Pavilion is for yourselves, I know you will fall in love with it just like my husband Steve and I did right away.
