They were professional, talented, and so easy to work with. They helped make the ceremony feel truly magical, and we are so grateful they were part of such an important day for our family and friends.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful music and an exceptional experience. They were one of the highlights of the wedding!

ur garden-wedding. Steve was incredibly easy to work with, quick to respond, and gave us tons of options and guidance for music selections for the big day. We always dreamed of having string music on our big day and he and his team delivered, even during the midst of a heatwave!

We hired SMT Music sort of last minute and are so glad we did. They were super professional, let us pick our music, and made it possible for my husband to walk down the aisle to co...
ncerning hobbits! Even though we hired them close to the ceremony date, they had no issue playing the songs we wanted. They were super affordable compared to other ensembles I looked into but still did such a great job and added a really nice touch to our ceremony.
The owner of SMT music worked with us to create a great ambiance for our wedding, and he took the songs we were wanting and wrote his own arrangements of the music. It was perfect!...
They are very talented musicians!
SMT Music was EXACTLY what I was looking for during the ceremony and cocktail hour of our wedding. They played absolutely beautifully at both and all the guests and family members ...
had positive remarks! They have a huge set list of songs to choose from across countless genres and can really learn whatever it is you're looking for them to play. Steve was incredibly easy to work with, flexible, and quick to respond, which was also really important to me as the Bride. I highly recommend SMT Music for any wedding or special event.
GORGEOUS music and incredibly professional musicians. We made the right choice!
I know they're classical string musicians, but the owner of the company was kind of annoying and stuffy. He calls and emails a lot, which is good and bad. It stressed me out a lo...
t, but it was also nice to know he remembered and cared about my wedding. The music itself was beautiful and played very well.

e quartet to play as well as even writing one of the pieces so I could walk down the aisle to my song!
They were professional, on time and I cannot say enough good things about them. We were fortunate to have good vendors but this was the one vendor that all our guests commented on. Everyone commented on the music. Who are they? Young, old, didn't matter, I guess about 80% of our guests commented on them. They truly helped to enrich the beauty of the wedding.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone as well as use them again when the need arises
We didn't end up using SMT music. After an initial phone conversation (in which he insulted another bride's brother) I communicated with Steve Taylor over email. He emailed me seve...
ral times a week asking various questions, and when I decided to go with another string quartet he wrote back a snarky "I figured, but it's nice to let people know." That was it. He's probably a very talented musician, but his people skills could use some improvement. Proceed with caution.
Overall i was pleased however i think everyone should know going into a contract with this company you have to make song selections from the given songlists, even if you told that ...
they can play other songs also, the music was lovely, however the songs rtan together, so 5 didnt have like an "offical" grand entrance
