Not often do you get a DJ that cares about YOU, not just the party, but that’s what you get with Smokey Mountain Sounds!
Ellen worked with me through every step of the planning pr...
ocess, and they have this fantastic app that I got to download on my phone and plan through, down to the minute! First dance songs, announcements, order of the ceremony and reception, even pronunciations of my bridal party were all in there so she had them right on hand throughout the event!
My guests weren’t the biggest party people, but Ellen read the room so well and helped facilitate the party, the wind down, and everything in between! Nothing felt forced, and everyone I’ve spoken to has told me how wonderful the whole day was, and I owe so much of it to Smokey Mountain Sounds!
We had an amazing experience with Ron and his wife! He did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony and kept the reception running smoothly while creating a fun atmosphere for our ...
guests. His wife was fantastic running the photo booth, which was a huge hit all night long. Both were professional, easy to work with, and helped make our wedding day stress-free and memorable. We are so grateful for everything they did and highly recommend them!
Ron and his wife were amazing!! Ron knew exactly what music to play to keep everyone on the dance floor and constantly made sure my husband and I were having a great time. I loved ...
that he was constantly checking in to make sure his timeline matched ours.
Ron did an amazing job at our wedding! Despite a less than energetic crowd (lots of older couples/introverts), Ron kept the good music coming for those that wanted to dance! I real...
ly loved the planning app that he used for creating playlists for every part of the event - this really helped organize what music I wanted at what time and provided recommendations when I needed some inspiration! He accommodated a night FILLED with Taylor Swift (by my request) but kept up variety too! We had a great mix of pop, dance, oldies, jazz, throwbacks, classic rock, and classical all throughout the ceremony and reception. He was also a very personable emcee!
His wife also manned a portable photobooth that was super fun for all of our guests! The photobooth came with tons of filters and they even collaborated with us to make a custom filter with our names that showed on all the guests' photos! I loved looking through all the photos the next day and seeing all the fun everyone had!
The team with Smokey Mountain Sounds is super lovely and helpful. They offered to help clean up the mess from a previous DJ that abandoned us.. & even went out of their way to find...
other equipment rental information for us. I'm very grateful for the kindness. Definitely recommend doing business with such good folk.
Working with Ron was a breeze! He was super inclusive of us as a same-sex LGBTQ+ couple and was easy to work with. He uses an app to help get all of the wedding day music organized...
and it was so helpful (and, honestly, fun)! On our wedding day, we had some unexpected circumstances and Ron was quick to adapt, prepared with solutions, and remained professional throughout the whole day. The music they played throughout the reception was fun, fit the crowd, and got people dancing! We also loved the fun lights they set up for the reception, too.
Ron did a wonderful job at our wedding! I loved the app he used for us to add all our music requests to, since it was organized and helped with the planning process. Ron was super ...
nice and kept the party going. Since our wedding was destination and my uncle officiated, we also really appreciated that Ron helped out by mailing our marriage license for us.
Did a wonderful job! Kept the wedding on track and improvised when we were actually running a little ahead of time. Kept the party from getting stale. Loved them!
Ron was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our music that he was playing.

t really made it a breeze.
He was so friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed in the area.
On the day of the wedding the ceremony was flawless! He ran with last minute announcement changes effortlessly and my guests partied HARD all night. The music was perfection. Not to mention he is beyond reasonably priced for his level of customer care. If you are thinking about a DJ in the Pigeon Forge area, look no further!
Ron was an absolute joy to work with- so kind and so considerate. He kept everything simple and easy going. I come from a music-loving family so a DJ was extremely important to us....
He had every song we requested (over 100 of those) and made our wedding day that much better! He read the crowd so well and executed the music flawlessly. I 10000/10 recommend this gentleman. He didn’t try to bring attention to himself and elegantly kept the flow of our wedding! Thank you Ron!!
Ron was wonderful! Everything throughout the night was so great and a lot of that was due to him. He was professional and courteous during all of our phone calls and planning. And ...
always very quick to respond to my many questions. Great music and a perfect MC!!
I had Smokey Mountain Sounds DJ my wedding and the women were very active and one was even out teaching us some of the dances! Their equipment was nice and they played great music!

t of things we did not) He made my daughters wedding very personal and very special. I didn't have to worry about anything he kept the wedding moving on schedule and did not forget a thing. Everyone danced the night away and didn't want it to end. I highly recommend you use Smokey Mountain Sounds for any event, you will be very happy with your choice.

e the reception the way you want it and to ensure the songs you want are played. He had everything prepared for the reception and made sure everyone in the wedding party knew what to expect and when. He kept our reception lively and made sure every generation was included. I can't tell you how many compliments we received on how great the reception was because we had such a great DJ!
OMG. Ron was amazing. Not only did he travel to chicago to do this wedding, but he made it more. Ron was there for the rehearsal, and Thank God. Our judge was not very helpful, and...
after watching us fumble through the first attempt and having the judge leave, Ron stepped right up and took control. I fear what would have become of my ceremony without him. He helped us get timings down, how to walk, where to stop for photos. He was amazing and i am so thankful for that. The ceremony went off perfectly because of his involvement. During the Cocktail hour he played the perfect music and help move people to the reception room in a timely manner. Before entering the reception, Ron gave all of my wedding party some advice, saying that that room was our stadium and we were to own it. My entire party owned it. I can barely remember what Ron said as my husband and I entered the room, because he had everyone cheering so loud. Every moment the floor was full, even when Ron sent half the family out for a group photo he kept the rest on the floor. I could never have found a better and more caring DJ. He cares about the wedding and the people. Not once, to anyone at the wedding, who also all love him, felt that he was there for the money. He was there because he loves weddings. I Love everything he did. Thank you so much Ron.
This DJ did a great job! He asked in advance any songs we wanted him to play and he managed to play almost everyone. He has a great mix of old an new. He does not play any songs wi...
th profanity or vulgar content. We appreciated that very much for our event. I was a little upset with what we paid. We paid 350$ for 3 hrs. But the wedding started late and he left early (when the wedding died down). So i was a little upset that we still had to pay for that time.
