We absolutely loved having SLAB BBQ at our wedding. We really wanted to give our guests a true Texas experience, and BBQ just felt right; SLAB absolutely delivered. Everyone loved ...
the food, and we got so many compliments throughout the night. Mark was great to work with, and their team was so helpful and on top of everything all evening. Definitely recommend checking out SLAB BBQ if you’re looking for a wedding caterer!
Overall Slab was great food for a great price. Coming in at around 1/3rd the cost vs almost every other vendor we contacted, we're so glad we went with food we and our guests loved...
. There was a hiccup or two, but nothing that a sincere apology, small refund, and some complimentary BBQ (still waiting for the sauce Mark!) couldn't fix.
AMAZING FOOD!! For our wedding we had slab BBQ catering and serving staff. Our venue required a full serving staff and with Slab BBQ they made it all possible and easy for us. Mark...
was in correspondence with us and made sure our wedding ran smoothly! Guest boast about this food even after the wedding, which is something we wanted to make sure stood out in our wedding. The best experience hands down!
I'm highly disappointed!!! Beware, if you pay for the "food truck" services and you are looking forward to having the food truck at your wedding, there is a chance you will NOT get...
the food truck but instead their van, and without any notice. If I had been informed of the possibility of receiving a van instead of their food truck. I was really looking forward to having the food truck. I paid for the "food truck" services, but instead, a van arrived at my wedding, and the food was served from the van. My wedding planner questioned the workers that arrived in the van about why there wasn't a food truck, but they didn't seem to know an answer. We reached out after my wedding and were told sorry for the miscommunication, but they have both a van and food truck that they use for their "food truck" service and they sent the food truck to a wedding that was closer to them (Round Rock) and sent me the van (Austin) because they didn’t want the food truck to have any mechanical issue on its way to my wedding. If a customer purchases the "food truck" service, they expect to get a food truck, not a van. It doesn't make sense that they wouldn't think to communicate that information with their customers. They didn't share that information with me until after my wedding when I complained. I would not have booked them if I was ever informed of the possibility of getting a van instead of a food truck. We paid $2400 for their "food truck" service, and they seem to think a $250 refund will make up for this. Again, we are highly disappointed.
We have nothing but good things to say about Slab. Our guests loved the food, specially the Mac and Cheese and Ribs! Highly recommend them for your big day!

Everyone loved the food and could not stop talking about it that day! We still have family and friends talking about how good the food was that day…almost 6 months later! We would highly recommend Slab BBQ for your catering needs!

Their staff was professional and prepared. They were really flexible with our ideas and building a menu for us. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food for any type of event!

SLAB BBQ is honestly the best. Being in Austin, TX theres A LOT of BBQ places to compete with, and SLAB is amazing! All I heard all night were compliments on how delicious the food...
was and how it was perfect for our hot May outdoor wedding. They are so easy to work with and have great suggestions and ideas if you're ever going blank and need some help. We did their food truck for our wedding and it was perfect! We fed all 100 guests in under an hour and it was great because some people were still enjoying their cocktail hour drinks. We also hired 2 of their service staff because we did the food truck to help with clean up and they were so helpful, kind and courteous with our guests. And just saying but you can't beat their prices! 100% recommend SLAB BBQ for anyone wanting some delicious BBQ on their wedding day.
We hired the Slab food truck to come out and serve 100 people at our wedding reception. People even went up for seconds and thirds and they still sent us home with 3 giant trays of...
left overs.
The food was delicious, they arrived early, and they were great to work with! My new favorite BBQ place!
The rehearsal dinner was wonderful due in large part to the great crew from the Slab! Samantha was easy to work with prior to the event despite the fact we totally changed the menu...
3 weeks before the event. The food truck was a hit-as were the bacon wrapped jalapeños and meatballs that were served to those waiting in line. I had worried 2 sliders wouldn’t be enough food -but they were amazing and we had lots of food left over. I would recommend them to anyone planning an event in the Austin/Dripping Springs area!!!
We loved our wedding and we loved our caterer. We had so many compliments regarding the concept of a food truck AND compliments to the food and service. The staff was on top of eve...
rything and we were so happy to help. It was a hot time of the year (August) and not once did they seem put out or exhausted. Nothing but smiles and rainbows. We have wedding photos with the truck in the background. It's one of the many reminders we have from our special day. PLEASE thank the staff for us.
SLAB is the best BBQ I've ever had, hands down!!! I got so many compliments on the food, and my cousin even knew who catered the food just by the taste (he frequents SLAB often). Y...
ou cannot go wrong with choosing SLAB. Mark and his team made sure the food was there in time for dinner and that we were well taken care of! We have received so many compliments on how good the food was. Everyone's favorite was the RIBS, they were so tender and fell right off the bone. My bonus daughters little sister told us before the wedding she "couldn't wait to eat the ribs" because my bonus daughter told her all about them from our tasting! Thank you so much for helping make our big day a success.
Thank you for providing our wedding guest with Dope BBQ! The pre-consultation appointment was timely, professional, and delicious! The food service on the day of our wedding was ju...
