About this vendor
Nestled beneath the rugged peaks of the Mission Mountains lies the breathtaking Sky Ridge Ranch, named after the very sky that blankets it in all its glory. A scenic drive awaits you, flanked by 31 majestic maple trees that paint a picture of seasonal beauty. As you make your way, the babbling Crow Creek serenades you, and a grove of aspen trees gently sways in the breeze. The finale of your journey is marked by a glimmering fountain in our pond, that dances with the sunlight.
The moment you walk through the two large glass doors, framed by the weathered beams from retired Flathead Lake docks, the magical aura of the Sky Ridge Ranch barn will leave you spellbound. The rustic, warm tones, and the soft romantic lighting set the perfect stage for your dream barn wedding that exudes class and elegance. Be it an intimate gathering of 30 or a grand celebration of 300, the venue has an alluring ambiance that will make your heart skip a beat.

ould not have been what it was without the three of them and this venue. We're six months past the wedding and our guests STILL talk about how much fun they had and how amazing the venue was. I cannot recommend this venue and Big Sky Wedding Planning ENOUGH!!!
our wedding video for anyone who wants to see the venue in all its glory: https://vimeo.com/656783690
This venue was amazing and made our son and daughter in laws wedding the most beautiful memorable day ever! We had every weather challenge (except snow) happen and Tracy and her h...
usband were right there to make the wedding go as planned, from lighting candles to driving up in their RV with generator to make it more exciting and amazing. The MT storm did not stop our evening it actually made it more incredible- dancing in the rain should happen at every wedding. The venue with the Mission MT backdrop is too die for and the manicured property is incredible. Thanks again Tracy for showing all our out of state guests what MT hospitality is all about.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sky Ridge and it couldn't have gone better. The venue and the scenery were amazing. Traci and Kurt were awesome hosts and their propert...
y at the foot of the Mission Mountains couldn't be a better setting for a Montana wedding.
This venue is beautiful! We instantly fell in love with the reclaimed wood interior of the barn and the amazing mountain scenery. It was Montana thru and thru and that was exactl...
y what we were looking for. Traci was an amazing host and has everything from tables and chairs to rustic decor available to rent right on site. We had endless compliments from our guests as well as our vendors on the venue. Our only wish was that the curfew could have been an hour or two later than 11pm. By the time our wedding duties were done and we were starting to relax and enjoy our guests, we had run out of time and had to shut down the party. Otherwise, this place was an amazing and picture perfect-literally! Our photographer said she went through twice as much film as normal because she loved it so much. The experience that Traci offered was also invaluable. She had a list of preferred and experienced vendors that helped us to prioritize our planning which took a lot of stress off of the big day. Traci was also a huge help on the days leading up to, and day of, the ceremony. She was always nearby to help with organization and provide an extra set of hands. A huge plus was the fact that we had the venue for the whole weekend. Being able to set up the day before and clean up the day after meant that we could be completely in the moment on our wedding day. Thank you Traci! Our day was perfect and we will treasure the memories forever!
Beautiful venue, stunning building and amenities available for your use.
Montana weather in June can be a toss of a coin. That's why we went with this venue. Luckily the rain stopped right before the ceremony and we were able to have an outdoor ceremony...
like we had planned but it was nice knowing we had an indoor back up that was just as beautiful. If you are looking for a venue that has just about everything look no more!!!! Our guests could not stop talking about ho beautiful it was and all the different photo opportunities. There are multiple outdoor locations for a ceremony depending on how many people you have, aspen trees, 2 mountain views, pond, indoor.
Our daughter's wedding was a Montana destination wedding, and 90% of the guests came here from out-of-state. Sky Ridge Ranch was the perfect place to show off the grandeur of Monta...
na. Traci Johnson has created a one-of-a-kind property to welcome your guests. She has mastered the art of Montana hospitality.

s talented, wonderfully organized, supportive, and so kind. We felt so welcomed there. Our daughter's wedding was fabulous in this exceptional venue. Be sure to check it out!
The location is gorgeous but there are caveats to this seemingly perfect venue. The hall is lovely and large enough to host the ceremony if the weather does not cooperate, and the ...
Mission Mountains are spectacular on their own, so a wedding anywhere in the valley will allow for beautiful outdoor photos. The issue was dealing with the owner which, in our case, was wholly unpleasant. She lives next door and exhibited, with us, several instances of micro-management: she tried to reorder our processional and was present through the entire reception, to the point that we felt obliged to introduce her to our families. Her “hands-on” approach to the rental was a source of near-constant frustration during what was otherwise a beautiful night. Brides and grooms MUST be aware that everything they take out will cost them in the morning, from empty tables to unused heaters to decorative barrels. There are no bathrooms for guests, so you must use her porta-potties, which are $150 each (not including the $75 hand wash station!). The owner also has a very strict 10:30 end time and with us, did not seem ashamed to come and yell at guests to leave. We would have loved to have paid a large flat fee for the hall and all its furnishings. Please go into the breathtaking venue informed!
What an amazing wedding venue. With three different ceremony sites and a beautiful rustic feel it's more than anyone could ever dream of for a Montana wedding.
