Working with Samantha and her team was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From the moment we connected, her entire crew was welcoming, bubbly, and genuinely kind, the type ...
of energy you want surrounding a wedding day.
I’ve worked alongside many planners and coordinators, and it’s not uncommon to see teams overwhelmed as the night unfolds. That was never the case here. Samantha was calm, confident, and completely in control the entire evening. She was an exceptional steward of the process, keeping the timeline on track while making everything feel seamless and stress-free.
What stood out most was how well she cared for everyone involved. Not only the bride and groom and their guests, but also the venue staff and fellow vendors. That level of awareness and leadership makes a huge difference in how smoothly a wedding runs.
I truly couldn’t recommend Samantha and the SJ Coordination & Events team more highly. If you’re looking for a planner who is organized, engaging, and fully present every step of the way, you will be in outstanding hands with her.

he was available to us for anything that we needed from getting ready meals to day-of timeline. She seamlessly worked with our venue and vendors and made us feel like the luckiest people in the world. I handed her a sketched image of what I felt like I wanted our reception space, ceremony, and cocktail hour to look like and it literally came to life. She knows the ins and outs of Asheville wedding planning in addition to event planning - you couldn't ask for a better planner and coordinator because of this! We would recommend her over and over again because she treats her clients as family and truly wants everything to be as perfect for them as possible. We adore her immensely, and will forever be grateful for playing such an important role in the greatest day of our lives

ed our wedding date up significantly to accommodate our life events. Without SJ, I would have probably pulled my hair out and stressed immensely leading up to our big day. She helped in every way she could and if I had questions, I could easily text or call and get an answer or she would take it upon herself find an answer if she didn’t have one. She worked amazingly with all of our vendors and if I couldn’t reach them, she could. SJ was always very honest and transparent, which I loved. She definitely helped to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted! I encourage everyone, if you’re still debating, go with her and you won’t regret it!
