We hired Sip and Twirl on the recommendation of our wedding venue and it was THE BEST decision we made in regards to our wedding. Kate did a spectacular job planning our wedding at...
Mountain Shadows in October. From preliminary conversations ten months before the wedding, through the day of the event, Kate went above and beyond, taking care of all details of wedding planning/coordinating. She planned and orchestrated all of the wedding events with all of our various vendors so that we could relax and fully enjoy the weekend.
Kate was extremely professional to work with, quickly responding to emails and proactively managing the wedding planning process. She was extremely generous with her time, and did everything from interfacing with vendors, helping us to come up with our vision for the wedding, and putting it all together on the day of. Kate’s experience was so helpful in navigating the various challenges of planning a wedding.
On the day of our wedding, she was an absolute magician. She was punctual, polished, organized, and absolutely unflappable throughout the evening. If anything went wrong or there were any challenges, we were completely unaware and she handled everything with tact. Having her there allowed us to feel entirely relaxed and truly enjoy the evening worry-free.
I cannot speak highly enough of Kate and Sip and Twirl’s service. She made planning our wedding a truly enjoyable experience, and we could not have done it without her. I, without any hesitation, highly recommend Kate and Sip and Twirl for any event planning needs!
Hiring Laurie, Tiffany & her team will be the best dollars spent of any vendor in your wedding budget. I interviewed 8 coordinators who came recommended to me. I ended up hiring th...
e team who I found on my own through google and immediately after talking to Laurie, could sense a level of attentiveness that was unparalleled to the others.
First, you learn that the true value of hiring a good planner is how much stress you can offload from an overwhelmingly stressful process. Second, I can't stress how much the team's advice and vendor connections helped to optimize my budget. More importantly, I was saved from hours of researching for mediocre conclusions- a team with their rolodex and experience will always be savvier than a bride planning her first wedding.
Some more points:
- Veteran Experience is Invaluable: Every detail that we could not have imagined planning for was covered.
- Vendor Rolodex and Selection: They were an objective source of information (that saved me hours of more tortuous google searches), let me know exactly what was out in the market, expressed opinions on what they thought was valuable spending money on vs. what was not (without ever directly or passively pushing any of their recommendations on me).
They have Style!: If you look on their website, the team has planned multiple types of weddings: Gardens, Estates, Airport Hangars, etc. They are up to speed on the latest trends in addition to knowing when to keep things classic
Execution and Staying on Schedule: The Team understands what jobs need to be taken care of immediately, what you can fudge and get away with, and when to be stern to get something done.
Responsiveness / Reliability: I couldn't leave without mentioning how incredibly hard the team works on your behalf, how responsive they are to every detail and question, and how reliable they are. Laurie was responding to questions late into some evenings which shows how dedicated they are once on board.
Thanks Sip and Twirl Team for understanding our vision and getting it done! We just lived out our dream wedding!
I cannot even being to say how amazing and thoughtful Kate and Emily are from Sip & Twirl. They were able to take my very vague ideas and turned them into a picture-perfect wedding...
.
I had already booked a private estate venue when I reached out to Sip & Twirl for help, realizing that this planning process was way above my head. Emily and Kate took the task in stride and presented me with idea after idea on all the different options I could do. I'm still amazed at how much thought and planning went into just our wedding alone. They made me feel like I was their only client and never once did I feel like they were annoyed with my inability to decide :) They are truly rock stars and I can honestly say that our wedding day would not have been nearly half as amazing as it was without their talents.
Sip and twirl are fantastic!!!! I had the great pleasure of working Kate and Emily for my wedding. The day was perfect in every way in large part to their efforts! They are incredi...
bly organized, detail oriented, and made everything beautiful. Even though I was living in Utah and planning my wedding from afar, they made it easy and fun! This was by far the best money we spent on the whole wedding. On the day of my wedding, my mom and I were just able to relax and enjoy it, which was the best gift of all. I can't recommend Sip and Twirl highly enough!!!

ith and orchestrated my wedding day flawlessly. I had some unusual weather circumstance for Arizona (like a gigantic thunderstorm with record breaking rain fall) and kate and Laurie handled the weather challenges discretely, creatively and with poise. They are the best in the business and are priced competitively, worth every penny.
I can NOT give enough props to the ladies (and gentleman) at Sip & Twirl.
I hired them for their condensed "30 Day Tango" package, but I feel like I got the attention and value ...
of a full-on wedding planner.
Laurie and her crew have an laid back and friendly approach, but the results are meticulous and beautiful! There were so many details that I hadn't considered, or didn't know how to navigate, and they guided me through the entire process with ease. Also, since our wedding was held at a private home, the venue had it's own set of challenges, but Sip & Twirl managed it and created a stress-free wedding day for myself and my husband.
Please be sure to check them out before you hire another planner!
Sip and Twirl was truly the best thing I ever did for my wedding. If I had to give my fellow Scottsdale brides-to-be any advice it is DO NOT question it, hire Sip and Twirl. It is ...
worth every single penny and then some. I planned all of my wedding and they took over a couple weeks out. I knew that with my event in their hands it would be nothing short of perfect. And that it was. Not only are they professional, they are polite and an utter pleasure to work with. I even received feedback from my vendors who said the same thing. I don't usually do reviews, in fact this is my first ever, but I feel so passionately about these women and the amazing job they did. I guarantee you will not regret the investment you make in them. If you want to enjoy YOUR night, they are your women! Cheers!
Laurie, Kate, and all the other wonderful people who helped were absolutely amazing! They made my family, my husband and I totally comfortable the day of the wedding. We had most o...
f our wedding planned already but needed help the day of because of the tight turn around time in between ceremony and reception, along with much of the DIY decorations. Not only did they take care of that but they coordinated all of the vendors, timelines, and we were even able to rent chairs through Sip and Twirl. We didn't have to worry about anything! Needless to say it was well worth the money and they were such a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for making our day so special!!
I actually found Laurie in December 2012 here on The Knot. I hadn't even thought about having a wedding planner until I started to think about who would coordinate everything the d...
ay of. Our venue was absolutely stunning, however it was a blank slate and the contract really didn't include anything at all. That meant we would have multiple contracts all separate from one another. I am serious when I say that hiring Laurie and her awesome team was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding recently on March 8th. She is SO responsive, attentive (to EVERYTHING), proactive, trustworthy, FUN, and absolutely lovely. I could go on and on, but all I know is I would have paid ten fold for their services. I was the most relaxed and calm bride a lot of people had seen before and I attribute this to Laurie 100%. I trusted that she would have everything taken care of - and she did. Including "dress-proof" jello shots that we took right before walking down the aisle. We also have to give credit to her team that helps her because they were extremely sweet and helpful, too! I believe I made a lifelong friend with Laurie and would recommend her to anyone and everyone that is looking for some extra help for their wedding. We love you Laurie!
For the price it was a great investment however with 3 people trying to direct it got hectic. Laurie was great I would absolutely recommend her.
Laurie & Dianna are like my fairy god mothers.
From the moment I met the Sip and Twirl team they where comforting, confident and in control.
When I got engaged I thought, "how ...
am I ever going to manage this with my insane schedule and my insane need for everything to be perfect."
We used Pintrest, photos, magazine cut outs and all of Sip and Twirls many many resources, after coming up with our vision the girls did everything. I am so happy to have trusted them with details because once everything came together it was even more beautiful then I every could have dreamed.
I was told over and over again that I was the most relaxed bride anyone had ever seen, I attribute that 100% to these very talented women.
I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding day and Laurie was there to save me money, save me stress, hire the perfect vendors and communicate flawlessly them and even hold my hand and remind me to take a deep breath and look around because its going to go so fast.
Dianna listened to my ideas and was able to, like a tap of a magic wand, create the most beautiful wedding I could only dream of. She even had crafted a lot of the details so we could have everything we wanted and stay in the budget.
I trust them and was able to focus my attention on feeling all the emotions of the day.
My mom was heading the organization of my wedding, because the ceremony and reception were at our family home and I live out of the country. She selected and decided on using Sip &...
Twirl for day-of wedding coordination to lighten her load on the day of the wedding.
I met Laurie and Caily about a week before the wedding and was thoroughly impressed with how well organized, professional, friendly, sweet, on the ball and overall wonderful they are! They thought of all the things that we could not have. They were super organized (down to the minutes!) and even took over some of the odd jobs we still had left, for example tying on ribbons and making name tags for our thank you gifts/ seating arrangements. They also brought in their experience to bring up ideas of how something could function better. And even the night of the wedding, after dinner, they chose the song for our "father-daughter/ mother-son" dance that fit perfectly!
Working with them is a real pleasure, because you can see how much they love weddings!! I was so relaxed on the day of my wedding, because I knew everything was in good hands and under control. I highly recommend Sip & Twirl for all kinds of wedding planning!!
I was looking for just a day of coordinator for my November 10th wedding, as I didn't want to worry about anything other than getting down the aisle. Once I met with Laurie, owner...
of Sip and Twirl, I knew I had found "the one". She became my sanity controller as we got closer to my big day. Two weeks before the wedding, Laurie met with me at the wedding location, and documented my every wish, need, and image for the big day. She was so incredibly organized. A week before, we met again to go over final details, and then again before the rehearsal. I had no anxiety knowing that Laurie was there. I can't say my wedding day went on without any problems, as mother nature played a very nasty last minute joke. Laurie and her team were able to turn my entire outdoor reception into an indoor celebration in less time than my husband and I took to sign our marriage license. She worked incredibly hard at making sure my day was what I imagined, and that I would remember it forever. And she worked magic. I could not have asked for anything different that day. Sip and Twirl made the entire day possible, including working around the hiccups in weather, of course I'm sure if Laurie could have, she would have stopped the rain. She goes the full mile and then some for her brides. I was truly blessed that I was given such a great husband, and an even better wedding planner!
From our first conversation, I knew Laurie was "a must" for our wedding planning. I wasn't sure originally that I wanted/needed a coordinator. I had already contracted with most ...
of the vendors, but was scared I was "missing something" as we were heading down the final stretches. Most importantly, I didn't want my mom, grandma, etc having to step in to help with last minute items the day of the wedding. Laurie helped me walk through all the logistics and had our timeline set well before the wedding. She was beyond punctual with replies, often exchanging many emails daily and promptly. She contacted each vendor prior to the wedding to let them know she was available and make sure all expectations were finalized and adjusted orders as we worked with each vendor and ever changing requirements. She even visited the wedding site with me (2 hours outside of Phoenix) a month prior to make sure we uncovered any hidden issues. The day of, Laurie handled all the vendors and their questions while I got to sit back and be pampered and actually enjoy the day with my girls and family. She stayed late and helped with clean up and even brought some of my wedding supplies to her house for cleaning and storage so we didn't have to worry as we skipped off to our honeymoon. I'm sure there are many issues and questions that may have come up, but I was oblivious since everything ran smoothly from my view and my guests! All that was left for me to do was seriously "Sip and Twirl." I would highly recommend Laurie to any bride!
