I purchased my mother of the bride dress at Sincerely Susan in Lenexa, KS. This was the best decision!
At Sincerely Susan, you make an appointment and a dress consultant talks to ...
you about what you are looking for and then brings you dresses that they believe fit your wish list and start narrowing down what you really want. They are so good at this.
They have so much selection and the dresses do not look matronly. I had specific needs for my dress due to my ridiculous tan lines and Sincerely Susan found my perfect dress. I loved it so much and when I looked in the mirror, I immediately new that this was it!
I loved Sincerely Susan so much that I brought in my mother-in-law who lives in a smaller town without access to dresses appropriate for a formal wedding. Sincerely Susan found her a beautiful dress for the wedding and a less formal dress for the rehearsal dinner.
While there with my mother-in-law, I also found my rehearsal dress.
If you don’t know, Sincerely Susan has a boutique at the front of the store with the most fabulous dresses that you just shop for yourself at all levels of formality. I bought an additional three dresses for a trip to Mexico taking place immediately after my daughter’s wedding one of which also doubled as my dress for a member-guest dinner. And now I’m a Sincerely Susan addict.
All of the dresses are so, so reasonably priced. I don’t know how they do it but they do. Both the formal and informal dresses are just so affordable.
If you are looking for an MOB dress or a dress for any occasion, I highly recommend that you try Sincerely Susan before going anywhere else.
Don't bother taking your mom or loved one anywhere else. They make the process so easy, even for the pickiest ladies. Both our moms, and two of my aunts found their attire here, an...
d attire for rehearsal too. They also had accessories and Spanx. Reasonably priced as well.
Kelly was very patient and worked so hard to find me a dress for my daughter's wedding. Excellent customer service!
We got my mom her mother of the bride dress here and Chelsea was the absolute best to work with! She was so patient and listened to all my mom’s wants and dislikes. She brought us ...
so many dresses to look through and while she was selecting dresses for my mom, there are racks to look through for costumers and she even found another dress!
I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a dress even if it’s for a formal event!

d have to settle for a gown that would look just okay. Sincerely Susan has the best selection and service. I came home with a gown that I love and am looking forward to wearing at my daughter's wedding. Also picked up a cute jumpsuit for the rehearsal dinner.

ntment with Carla. Well, I felt foolish after a couple of minutes speaking with her. She made me feel so comfortable, and she helped me find the perfect dress! Carla is so good at what she does that I really could have gone with a few different dresses! Finally the bride and MOH helped me make the final decision. The choices are great, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing and I couldn't think of any place else I would ever go again to find a dress for a special occasion! Thank you Carla and Sincerely Susan!
The bride, 2 bridesmaids, and the mother-of-the-groom all went to find a dress for the groom's mother. The staff made the experience so wonderful! We told them the color, size, and...
length, and they helped us find the perfect dress.
Not only did the mom find her mother-of-the-groom dress, rehearsal dinner dress, AND bridal shower dress, but both one of the bridesmaids and the bride herself found their rehearsal dinner dresses. What a success! We were so pleased with this place.
I ordered several dresses that just didn’t fit, or I just didn’t like them. I looked at all of the stores around me and found nothing. My friend and I went to SS on a Saturday. ...
I ended up leaving with the first dress I tried on. It was beautiful and it was so comfortable during the wedding. And, the price was $199, which was less than what I had ordered. Would definitely go back again!!!!!

ut with Covid that was shut down and we decided to wait! Needless to say with planning the wedding for not 1, but 2 years I might have purchased about 15 dresses. NONE of them were THE dress! She is my oldest of 11 and I wanted everything to be perfect! I went to Sincerely Susan 10 days before the wedding and found the PERFECT DRESSES for the rehearsal and the WEDDING! The customer service and attention that I got from Michelle and Susan was 10 out of 10! They brought me so many dresses and they were all perfect! I feel like I chose the perfect ones and felt so confident! I have not felt so good about myself in years! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Great place and experience. Personalized, lots of variety of dresses and honest opinions. And a fun place

tes I had three dresses I really liked but with their help narrowed it down to "the one". I was also thrilled with the price as I had been to other shops and was looking at dresses more than twice the amount. This store is a must visit for any MOB or MOG.

any beautiful gowns for me. I found the perfect dress! I would highly recommend them to find your perfect dress.
Our son is getting married in Dallas, Texas. It is quite the formal event, so I wanted a special, elegant dress. After ordering from JJs House online, since I am a hard-to-fit size...
, I discovered that JJs House would not honor its shipping date commitment. This meant that my dress was going to arrive after the wedding. Seeing my distress, two separate friends told me about Sincerely Susan. I wish I had known before the other dress, but I am blessed that they told me about this jewel of a dress shop in Old Town Lenexa.
I booked an appointment the same day that I called Sincerely Susan. My stylist, Donna, listened carefully to my dress requirements. She brought me 3 dresses that were lovely. However, I only had eyes for the cobalt blue Ursala gown. Donna showed that she understood my body shape, because that dress fit perfectly with hemming and minor adjustments to the sleeves. The price was very reasonable. Based on what I saw Ursala gowns in similar styles, Sincerely Susan saved me a couple of hundred dollars!
Donna referred me to Oak Park Tailors for the alterations. The fitting there was extremely pleasant, The whole process with Sincerely Susan was just amazing. If you live within driving distance of the Greater Kansas City Metro, it would pay you to make an appointment, especially if you are a woman who wears a larger size. Thank you to all of the good folks at Sincerely Susan in Lenexa, Kansas. You lowered my stress level and found a dress that made me feel wonderful.

My fiance's mom and grandma both got their dresses for our wedding from here and were extremely happy with their experience. My fiance's mom called and specifically asked us to rat...
e them on the Knot because she was so happy with both experiences and wanted to make sure they knew how happy she was with their services. Grandma was difficult to deal with (she is struggling with dementia) and they were so kind and patient with her and I think my fiance's mom and aunt (both took grandma to the appt) only survived that appointment because the person they worked with handled grandma so well. When it came time for my fiance's mom to find a dress, she knew that is where she wanted to get it from and found the perfect dress for herself there. She felt they were super efficient and listened to exactly what she was looking for and found several great options because they have such a good selection. Would definitely recommend them!!

I never felt pressured to make a decision on any dress and ended up purchasing both dresses here. If like me, you have not been to Sincerely Susan, I encourage you to make an appointment for your next formal event.

n early appointment time. As my mom was nervous about this experience, having not worn dresses in years, Susan made sure to find a whole bunch of dresses that would make my mom feel confident. She gave my mom great advice on jewelry and styling techniques for each dress. The jewelry available in store was also gorgeous. I was impressed by the selection, especially their plus size dress selection.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a formal dress without all the high dollars.

t’s set up almost warehouse style sorted by sizes, length and color. They let the moms see what struck their fancy but, in the end, they both got dresses picked by the stylist. Those ladies sure know what flatters and will look good after trying on a dress or two. Prices are what I would expect for a mother or mother-in-law dress but the quality exceeds standard bridal shops I think. They’re popular brands, and they have styles for events other than just weddings. Highly, highly recommend!!
I cannot recommend Sincerely Susan enough!

e likes as most places don't carry larger sizes, but we were happily surprised to find ourselves presented with multiple beautiful options! Within 20 minutes, we had found the perfect dress for her that fit, looked beautiful, and my mom adored. Rachelle helped her feel comfortable and confident during our appointment, brought us ice cold, little bottles of water, and helped us get in and out in less than 30 minutes. I will update this review with a picture of my mother in the dress after the wedding, but I couldn't wait to share how incredible Sincerely Susan was!

My mom and I were very discouraged about finding her a dress for my wedding, had already been to two other places and no luck. We call Mia's Bridal and ask if they sell mother of ...
the bride dresses and they said no but that they had a place they highly recommended. Sincerely Susan. We called and told them this was the only day my mom would be in town for quite a while and they said they could squeeze us in. We went straight over there and were greeted by the nicest people. Another group of ladies were leaving and they said "She's the best, You're going to love her!" And we totally did. She had us pick dresses in one area while she went to another area and grabbed more for my mom to try on. They even had those gurtle things to help flatten your stomach! It was amazing. First dress my mom tried on we loved and then after 7 or 8 more we found another one we loved. It was great, especially after being so discouraged after the other two stores. The dress my mom picked out had some beading and the owner does a lot of bead work so the three of us looked over the gown for any missing beads and marked them and it was just great. The ladies at Susan's are so friendly and helpful and really made our day. :> The prices were really reasonable too! If I ever have to buy another dress I'm shopping here.
Sincerely Susan's was wonderful. My mother is not a "dress" wearing woman, and she is incredibly uncomfortable trying clothes on. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that she...
felt right at home. She loved the first dress she tried on, but she was able to try on several to be sure of her choice. They were all so flattering (but honest) to help her make her decision. They offered additional information for services she would need for undergarments and alterations. This was a one stop shop of all information and the perfect mother of the bride dress. Highly recommend.
