The first time after talking with her on the phone I turned to my fiancé and said “Oh my goodness I can already tell I’m REALLY going to like this girl!” As a person she could not be any sweeter and is SO fun to be around. She was our biggest advocate throughout the day taking our engagement photos, constantly checking if we were thirsty, hungry, hot, etc. She literally put me in her car blasting the AC (July in Charleston) and gave me candy… I mean could you get any sweeter?! She also made sure we had every shot we wanted from our shoot because she wanted us to be happy with our photos! As a photographer she’s professional, efficient, and exceptionally easy to work with. My fiancé and I are by no mean models and have never been in front of professional camera lens before. I’d say within five minutes Sarah had us feeling comfortable and we got to interact naturally with one another while she caught it all of film. It’s one of my favorite things about our pictures. Her enthusiasm while taking pictures is amazing! She makes you feel so beautiful and when she gets a good shot you know it because she gets so excited and it invites such a wonderful mood to the day! Her talent speaks for itself when you see her photographs. She captures light flawlessly and has such an airy and natural quality to her work. Her style is so timeless and classic. She captured our love for each other effortlessly in our engagement photos and they’re photographs I picture our children looking at one day and getting passed down to generations. I can’t say enough good things about Sarah as a person and as a photographer. Photography was one of my priorities for our wedding and we are so fortunate to have Sarah there with us next May and also to have her as a wonderful, treasured new friend! :)

Overall, it was such a fun and even romantic day for my fiancé and I! We are SO in love with our engagement photos that when we saw them we admitted we would be perfectly happy if they had been our actual WEDDING photos! Since we were so enamored with the results, I was ecstatic to be able to do a boudoir shoot with her as well. She was just as amazing to work with 1on1, and even let me wear her wedding dress to capture the bridal mood. What I loved most of all is that she never limited possibilities – if we thought of something creative, she ran with it; we even did some of my shoot in a lake! Sarah’s boudoir style is very feminine, classy, and fine art - very tastefully done. On our wedding day, Sarah was a saving grace! When things didn’t go as planned she kept things running smoothly. I was able to focus on what my wedding day was really about: looking forward to marrying the man of my dreams. Sarah did a wonderful job capturing our first moments together as husband and wife. She made excellent use of the beautiful overarching tree we chose for our ceremony site, as well as onsite horses and our vintage car. Sarah and Will paid special attention to detail and captured every single precious memory on our wedding day with our family and friends. Looking through our photos is like watching a beautiful video of our wedding day. Everyone is blown away by our wedding album. They were fast, professional, and made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease! She even took numerous shots of me and my dog, who is like my child and is such a big part of my life. I am forever grateful for that!! It was almost like she was there just to help me!! At the ceremony and reception, I did not even notice how many pictures were being taken. But now that I have them (which took no time at all), I am amazed at how many great shots they got!!!
