My mom and I walked into Simone’s on a Saturday without an appointment. When we walked in they were very busy, and I asked the man at the desk (who I believe was the manager) if th...
ey accepted walk-ins, not expecting to be seen that day but to make an appointment. To my surprise, they immediately started helping us.
Despite how busy they were, and being a walk-in customer, I never felt rushed or like an inconvenience. My consultant gave me all the time in the world and was as nice and as patient as could be. I even had a smaller budget as far as wedding dresses go, and they were just as attentive as they would have been if I had been spending over $1,000.
This was the very first store we went wedding dress shopping at, and I ended up picking the second dress I tried on (one that the manager picked out for me). To top it all off, they ended up giving me an INCREDIBLE deal when my dress was over my budget.
They have a huge dress selection, anything you could want was there. I truly found my dream dress. I suggest going in open minded, because the first dress I tried on was everything I thought I wanted, and what ended up being my dress was the one I tried on after that. I’ve never seen another bride with a dress like it, and I’m very much in love with it.
I’ll never forget that day, it was so special, and the staff at Simone’s was a huge part of that. Thank you so much to everyone at Simone’s!
Wish I could share some photos of the dress I received. The measurements are so bad and way off. The guy that claimed to be the manager was horrible and made no attempt to make thi...
ngs right after they got my money. The only offer that was made was for me to pay for additional alterations. Why should I pay more for alterations whenever they're the ones that completely messed up? If you're looking for a place to get it right, this is not the place for you. Don't waste your time or money at this place.
I came in from out of state to look for wedding dresses with my mom, future mother in law, MOH, and one of my bridesmaids. We had shopped the day before in a few stores in Lancaste...
r, but I hadn't found "the one". The next day, my mom and I took a chance and went shopping in Hanover. We stopped at another store with little success, before walking (in like the 95 degree weather!) down the street to Simone's. There was a sale going on and I hadn't made an appointment, but Simone welcomed my mom and I in to look at their sale room. While we were just browsing, Simone brought in binders that had sleeves upon sleeves of pictures of dresses she said they had upstairs (which made it super easy to look at instead of hanging in the bags). Simone mentioned if any caught my eye, she'd bring them down for me to try on. A little while later, I had about 5 pictures pulled. Simone came back over and said, "I finished up my one appointment a little early. How about we try on a few of these?" to which she took my selected images, disappeared for a few moments, and came back with the dresses. I tried on four dresses with Simone, but fell in love with the first one I had on. Simone helped me back into the beautiful Maggie Sottero dress and it was a done deal.
I'm very thankful for the accommodations made by Simone and her team! Her service was wonderful and she knew what she was doing. Simone turned my day from, "I'll just browse and schedule a time to come back later" into "I'm saying YES at Simone's!".
Thank you!!
I had an awesome experience at Simones!! I loved the fact that the owner her self, helped me hand pick my dress! She was very pleasant, funny, easy going and very understanding of ...
my wants/needs of my dream dress. The rest of the staff was great. I never felt like a “nag” or like I was being rushed. The communication from staff and appointment reminders were very helpful. I highly recommend Simones, I have absolutely no complaints!
I loved my dress I bought at Simone’s! I at first thought I found my dress at a different well known bridal store, then I scheduled an appointment with Simone! I bought my prom dre...
ss from her and my wedding dress. So easy to work with. Everyone was always so nice. If I ever need a gown for a formal or what not I would definitely go back to her. Simone and her team treated me amazingly and I could not have asked for a better dress buying experience.
I went to MANY bridesmaid dress appointments and left all feeling defeated. I drove to Simone's from Baltimore and had the BEST experience! They have pictures of the bridesmaids dr...
esses on models in a binder so you can see what they actually look like instead of shuffling through a rack and passing over things that don't look as good on the hanger. At previous appointments, my color (cranberry) was never one they had samples of and I was too nervous to choose from a swatch. Simone's had a ton of designers and full dress samples in the colors. There was one particular designer I liked before (jasmine b2) but couldn't find the perfect dress. Simone's had so many of her styles I had never even seen before and loved. The girls that helped us were nice, knowledgeable, patient, and honest. They helped us narrow it down to two final choices and gave us all the information and pros and cons of both. Now I just have to decide! Thanks for your awesome service and the end to my painful and long bridesmaid dress search!

I used this vendor to order a mother of the groom dress and was assured it could be mailed in time and returned for credit if it didn't fit. Unfortunately when I attempted to do s...
o, I was told that it had to be returned in *3 days*, which would be impossible. I needed an appointment with an alteration lady before discovering it couldn't be altered. Now I have a dress I can't wear. Be very cautious if buying online.
Staff is very nice and helpful. They care about what you want not just how much money your going to spend like most shops. Purchased my prom dress, wedding dress and my moms dress ...
there. Great experience would recommend to anyone for any occasion.
Simone's was the third dress shop I visited. The girls she has in the shop are fantastic, helpful and fun to work with. I explained to the girl what I had in mind and she pulled th...
e dresses that came to her mind. I also went through their magazines and she pulled ones that I selected from the photos. Needless to say, the first dress I tried on was one the girl picked for me... And it's the one I ended up buying. I absolutely fell in love with the dress. It's Mori Lee, and was extremely reasonable in price compared to other bridal shops I had been to. I bought it on the spot!!
I fell in love with my dress and sadly it was discontinued...Simone sold me the floor dress and her seamstress helped make it fit me like a dream. I also got my veil there and for...

buy 5 dresses, so if you need other dresses, be sure to get them all at the same time! The mom's can benefit too ;)
Most of their staff was very nice. Jessica was always so helpful and courteous, she makes the place work so well!!

u books to look through to get ideas of what you want. They don't sit there with you or look at what ideas you bring with you. They don't pressure you but if you know what you want, they do make you wait. Once I started to try on a few dresses, they started pulling some other dresses that fit my style.
I found an amazing dress on my own there and I loved it.
I would recommend using your own seamstress. Theirs was very nice and did a very good job but every fitting appointment I had to wait for her to get there. She said the alterations were very minimal and wouldn't be much, yet she charged me $$$. She told me that I would be able to take my dress after my final fitting but when I got there to try it on, it still had pins in and was yet to be cleaned and steamed.
Through the whole process of picking out my bridal gown and my bridesmaids dresses, Simone's Unlimited was nothing but great! They have an exceptional selection of bridal gowns an...
d treated me with wonderful service! They stay patient through all the initial gown try-ons and help to pick the one that looks perfect!
If my dress had been available anywhere else within 100 miles, I would have walked out of this place. Every time I tried to make an appointment, called to check on my dress or alt...
erations, it was difficult unless I spoke to one person there, Jessica, who was always kind and accommodating. The owner, was rude and pushy. Neither she nor her sales associates started any of the 4 appointments I had there on time. I also didn't feel as though she listened to what I wanted or my concerns, she just wanted me to buy crazy shoes and hair pieces that weren't my style.
The seamstress was the saving grace of this place. She was kind, listened to my concerns and altered my dress perfectly.
While I was waiting for my turn with the seamstress ($35 sitting fee), I watched another bride with her. During that bride's appointment, the owner butted in and had the seamstress pin a dress the owner was wearing, interrupting the bride's appointment.
Overall, the place has a huge dress selection and the seamstress is great and very fairly priced. The dresses are also fairly priced. I just didn't like putting up with the employees and owner. I always left the place with a bad taste in my mouth.
The salon staff was great, they really listened to me and found the PERFECT dress!
Let me start by saying my dress & the staff at Simone's were amazing! The seamstress they use was not. The only alterations my dress needed was hemming & taking in the sh...
oulder straps. That's it! The cost was outrageous & she took over 6 weeks to complete it. I didn't get my dress back until the week of my wedding. Then, it actually needed to be taken in some but I was worried it wouldn't be done on time so I wore it a little big. Thank goodness it wasn't strapless! As far as the shop itself...5 BIG GOLD STARS!!! The seamstress...well....

her very high thight! they were supposed to be just below the knee. Simones only fixed one dress and even then they had a fit about it!
I used Simone's for my wedding dress. The seamstress was AMAZING!!!! Dress fit like a glove.
