I’ve been trying to figure out how to put into words how incredible our experience was with Johnny V. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Johnny was instrumental in making that happen.
I had two requirements while planning our wedding - great food and a bomb-ass DJ. From the initial consultation call, we knew the DJ part would be HANDLED. Johnny immediately let us know he would be guiding us through the whole day and it put my mind at ease knowing he would be there to make sure everything went smoothly day of. He explained the process of putting together our playlists and organizing everything through the customer portal. Because of this, our planning call was sooo easy! We went through the timeline for the wedding day, discussed the special dedications, and what was expected with our officiant and other vendors.
Day of was a whirlwind, as to be expected. Johnny V was all set up and ready to go, and I literally just had to show up. My groom and officiant were all miked up and Johnny had introduced himself to everyone and set the expectations of what would happen from the second I walked down the aisle to the last moment we packed up. Again, I had to do NOTHING. Awhile before it was time to start, Johnny came in to see me and was looking FLYYYY…!
Aside from the flawless execution of the ceremony, here is what made our experience EXTRA SPECIAL. During my vows I referenced the Eagles…we (especially me) are huge Birds fans. We had never discussed this with Johnny during any of the planning phase at all but he payed attention during the ceremony and at the end of the night we did an Eagles chant that was a total surprise and tied a bow on our amazing night just perfectly. NUMEROUS guests said it was the funnest wedding they’d ever been to and you know why? Johnny V. Some of my favorite photos of the night were of my brother and niece behind the DJ booth! You guys, just hire Johnny V. He will be doing every event we (and a few of our guests) do in the future.

We felt so confident going into the wedding that we were going to have an amazing time. He was there plenty early, mic’d up everyone for the ceremony and gave everyone fist bumps before. One thing about Johnny V is he was smiling all day long. When it got to the reception he did an amazing job working with our timeline and getting in all of the speeches we wanted. Our groomsmen wanted to change their entrance song and he made sure that we were okay with it instead of taking their word for it. I loved that! The most important part… the dance floor. The dance floor was always packed because of johnny v’s energy. He knew exactly what to play, did some fun mixes, even pulled all the tabs on the light Wands for us. We have received so many compliments on how he brought the energy and how cool it was that he was on the dance floor with us the entire time. He even did the whole Cupid shuffle with us!! Our guests loved him so much that they were taking selfies with him. We can’t say enough about the vibes and energy Johnny V brought to the dance floor. So many family and friends that don’t normally dance were out there having such a great time. Johnny V even stopped by our after party to say goodbye after he was all cleaned up. We could not recommend him enough. He will bring so much knowledge to the wedding planning process and the best energy to your event. We have the best memories of our wedding thanks to johnny v.

You could tell how much they both love what they do; it was like art the way they put the night’s playlist together. I would highly recommend both, they were fantastic! I believe Jim was running that show and he did a hell of a job considering we had a gaggle of kids running that booth all night. inator for several years, I need to mention that they're portal gave my wife and I the ability to be detailed and specific with our needs. It's a must. He also met with us a week before our wedding and went over our entire day min-by-min and helped us understand the flow of the day. On the wedding day, he delivered.
Silver Sound was also our photobooth vendor. Our photobooth was a hit, and my wife and I could not have been happier with the results since we got copies of all the photos taken.

Cocktail hour music was already playing by the time guests made it into the space, never leaving a time without music. He gave us song suggestions when we had a call with him before the wedding and also ran through everything, which was incredibly helpful. Jason was very personable, and looked like he had as much fun as us with the music – clearly loving his job and keeping the dance floor lively. The song transitions on the dance floor were amazing, moving one song into another to keep everyone dancing. He threw in a few songs that everyone on the dance floor went crazy over! Jason could tell when some guests started to slow down a bit if one of the songs we had on our list wasn't well known or the guests weren't feeling it", and quickly switched to another song to keep the energy up. We are so happy we chose Jason and Silver Sound as our DJ for our wedding!

Silver Sound has an online system for uploading our song requests, and Paul played everything we asked him to! He even mixed/edited some songs for first dances/entrances so the lengths made sense. He also did an amazing job reading the crowd, taking requests, and choosing songs outside of our playlist to bridge everything together. We had guests on our dance floor literally all night! We also chose a Photo Booth service, which worked great. Our attendant was so helpful and kind, and our guests loved it! We also got copies of everyone's photos in our own photo book as a keepsake. The Silver Sound website to set up playlists and the timeline for the day was easy to use and streamlined the process of making sure everyone was on the same page as to what was planned. Paul provided wireless microphones for the ceremony to both the officiant and groom so that the guests could clearly hear everything in our outdoor venue. Paul was timely in his arrival and knew our venue well from his 30+ times DJing there in the past. We greatly appreciated Paul’s assistance in making the day a memorable one!

DJ Todd also carefully timed our ceremony and formal dances without a hitch, he brought enthuastic energy with his announcing style, and played so many great songs that had our guests dancing all night. He also gets major kudos for correctly pronouncing all my husband's Lithuanian family members complicated names. DJ Todd skillfully wove modern and older songs together into the playlist that appeal to multiple generations represented at our wedding. So many music genres were well balanced throughout the evening from punk, to pop, to funk.... DJ Todd was one of the a highlights of our night. He is a great person in addition to being a great DJ. He even was able to edit some songs for us to make them fit better, specifically the father/daughter dance. The specific things we asked for he delivered. The web portal for setting up everything about the event made the process very easy and even helped us figure out how our timeline should be. From the first time I contacted silver sound to the very end the experience was great and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ for their event!
