Silver Orchid Photography

h many of our vendors but never with Silver Orchid. She constantly communicated with us and put our minds at ease time and time again. When our wedding day finally came, Tara and Kathleen felt like a friends. They quickly picked up on our quirky personalities and rolled with it. We never felt uncomfortable (neither of us "enjoy" being photographed) and they weren't pushy at all, which is exactly what we needed. During the important moments (ceremony, first dances, etc,) many guests commented that they would not have even known they were there had they not gone back and watched the video, but they still managed to get AMAZING shots. Overall we had just a really wonderful experience from start to finish and we would highly recommend Silver Orchid to anyone and everyone!

nd then a month or 2 before we talked and she helped me figure out the timeline and flow of the day. And of course the timeline didnt go exactly as planned - BUT she was there just smoothly taking pictures, distracting me from getting anxious, setting my nerves at ease! The pictures I have gotten back are beautiful and amazing and take me back to that day - and each perfect little moment.

mportant to you and finds all the ways to incorporate that into your pictures!

g all the different aspects of our day. They are all so sweet and we had such a great time taking pictures around our venue. For some people, it can be difficult or weird to pose in front of a camera but Tara made everything so easy and natural. And, there was lots of laughter which made for some great candids! During the reception, they set up an iPad with preview pictures for us to see and then for our guests as well. It was so awesome having some of our pictures to look at while we were waiting for the full set. Once our pictures came back (we got them back on our 1 month anniversary, so SUPER fast!), we were just blown away by the photos. They really did capture every angle and special moment of our wedding and we are so blessed to have these amazing photos to look back on for years to come!

his all happen. I highly recommend her for all your photographic events.

were expecting, and their quality was just top notch. Not only was the product so well done, but it was so great to work with them. They are kind, patient professionals who also know how to let loose, take some cool and sometimes funny shots, and let your personality shine right on through. These are pictures you'll have FOREVER. Don't hesitate to hire Tara. She'll give you pictures you'll love for a lifetime.

ception and beyond, I was blown away by the professionalism and ease the team demonstrated. If you are looking for a photographer for your day, look no further!

ry professional and was awesome to work with!

honestly it felt like having a family member with us the entire day. Tara spent time before the wedding getting to know me and my family, so going into the wedding day it felt like a friend was doing our photos, not some random person. Also Andrea’s photos were amazing too! I can’t tell the difference between Tara and Andrea’s photos. So 100% I would recommend Silver Orchid for any special events photography, especially weddings.

eat, but the pictures turned out amazing. They were gorgeous, full of color, and captured all of our favorite memories. Again, I cannot recommend Tara and the team enough, they really helped make the day special.

professional with a fun loving personality which enabled us to feel comfortable with her and in front of the camera. The weather didn’t cooperate the day of the wedding but Tara and her team were able to think quickly and find a solution that worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend working with Silver Orchid Photography!

emailing back and forth we picked the most perfect spot for our engagement photos. That day when I met Tara in person she was so much fun to work with and makes you feel comfortable. She makes you laugh and knows how to capture the perfect picture. My husband who does not like his picture taken had so much fun that day taking pictures. I can't forget about her team she had working with her...the day of the wedding they were hard working and just as fun and sweet. If you email or call with questions you get a response right away, which is always a plus when planning a wedding. To top if off the colors of her pictures are breath taking and the pictures just 'pop.' So stop scrolling and get in contact with her today!

ame time. You can tell she has a real passion for photography and it shows in the amazing photos she takes. Our package included and engagement session (highly recommend) which was great because we got to know her more (and vice versa) and got comfortable being photographed. We had her for 10 hours on our wedding day and that was totally perfect. She's super organized and sends out a questionnaire before the wedding so she knows what specific photos you want, etc. I filled this out pretty extensively and there isn't a single photo that I wanted that I don't have. We're in love with all of them, so much so that we are having a hard time narrowing down which photos we want in our book (another thing included in our package that we can't wait for). All in all, Tara is awesome, comparable in price to others in the area (and in my opinion has better packages where you get more for our money than others I looked at), and so much fun to work with. Do your self a favor and hire her and her team - you will NOT regret it!

world of difference. Tara and her team even put together an edited slideshow of the wedding and wedding party photos that was on display during the reception. The turnaround time and photo quality was amazing.

calls that were uninspiring, we went to meet Tara. We instantly knew that Tara was the photographer we were looking for. After booking Tara, she helped make a custom package to meet all of our needs for photographing our big day. Her team was professional, supportive, and talented. Tara's personality and energy are to added bonuses aside from her amazing photography skills. We would not hesitate to recommend her to any couple looking for a wedding photographer and look forward to using her for all of our future photo sessions-- she always has great events and beautifully staged backdrops!

iterally couldn’t be happier with them!) but overall, you were just fantastic: easy to work with, extremely helpful, fun, kind, great with the kids, laid back, struck the exact right balance of getting those posed shots and capturing the day behind the scenes. We absolutely loved the small touch of the iPad at our table during dinner and then at the bar for all our guests to enjoy. Having you there was like having a cool friend with us – not a vendor that we had only met once before! I can’t tell you how much it meant to us to have the VW bug there – we are so happy you were able to help us with that! All the other vendors you recommended were just outstanding as well. Thank you also for being so incredibly responsive and organized. We were so impressed with all the tools you made available to us. They made the planning so much easier. You are incredible and I’m sure we’ll be working with you in the future as we do family photo sessions! We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Thank you again for EVERYTHING. Tara is amazing and we could not be happier with the images she captured of our wedding. Thank you Tara!!

e wedding Tara was very professional yet a blast to have around. She captured all the right moments that I didn’t even notice were happening around us. If you have the chance, you must choose Tara for your special occasion!

moment perfectly and went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Silver Orchid Photography!

hat’s a big deal! Tara was great with communication and how the day would go. During the wedding she captured every moment and then some that were to die for! When we received our link to view our photos we were in awe of how beautiful they were. I can’t recommend Tara at silver orchid photography enough! You won’t be let down!

They are Pinterest worthy works of art. Tara and the rest of the staff were awesome, fun to work with and made everything very easy. I know my groom can’t be the only guy who doesn’t care to have his picture taken, but he was blown away by the outcome as well. Besides my husband Silver Orchid Photography was they best choice I made for my wedding, and I have the most beautiful pictures that will last a lifetime.

m our initial conversation, I could tell Silver Orchid was what we were looking for. Tara has great energy, she's easy to work with, professional, passionate, SO talented, funny, thorough and she makes it fun! Our package included a complementary engagement session which was a great opportunity to get to know Tara and how she works and also for us to get comfortable in front of the camera. It ended up raining on our May 2018 wedding day and Tara made sure to reach out the morning of with a much-needed positive pep talk. She and the team showed up and conquered the weather - we definitely made the best of it and we're absolutely OBSESSED with our pictures. This bride and groom highly recommend Silver Orchid Photography for your wedding!!

. She is so talented, kind, and passionate about her work. She made everyone in the bridal party feel so comfortable. Tara was not intrusive to your day either, very considerate of our time. She truly was amazing and I would recommend her to anyone!

client since the very beginning and with each session Tara seems to be more brilliant then ever. I highly recommend Silver Orchid Photography!!

s the same way and made us feel very comfortable. The shots came out fantastic! Even though she and her assistant were stung by a nasty plant, you would never know as they kept working through the pain for hours! I encourage everyone I know to look at their work and use them for ANY and ALL life events. Our pictures were delivered in a timely manner and the cost was affordable! They were just wonderful!!! If you’re looking for amazing photos, a wonderful team and some great laughs, definitely book Tara and her team!

was available to help through the planning process and ensured the day went perfectly! Not only did she bring her newly hired assistant and a second shooter the day of the wedding, but she also brought a surprise third shooter! Our photos were truly amazing and now my husband and I and our families will be able to forever cherish this day! Amazing job by Tara and Silver Orchid Photography!

mend her to anyone looking to capture their day in a way that reflects exactly who they are.

grapher very seriously. We knew from our first meeting with Tara that we wanted her to be our photographer. Unfortunately, Tara was already booked on our wedding day but she made arrangements with an awesome associate (Meg) and worked tirelessly with us to sort out all the details as if she was going to be there herself. She made sure Meg knew everything she needed to know and facilitated our interactions with Meg prior to our wedding day. And Meg did a beautiful job! Tara was quick to process a handful of images immediately following our wedding day so everyone could get a glimpse of our day while we waited for our final photos. Even with her busy schedule Tara delivered our digital gallery quickly and we are so pleased with the results. We received countless compliments on our wedding photos and we are so glad we chose Silver Orchid.

little detail before you big day so you don't have to worry about things on your big day. I was getting married on the beach and when Tara got there it was cloudy and misting out. She was so excited because she said the shots would be so much better. Her and my florist were able to calm me down and get me excited that the pictures would be better and they are absolutely amazing!!! She is there for you every step of the way but doesn't get in the way of the day. She put in a tablet in the reception so people could see some of the pictures from the early part of the day during the reception. She has been great since the wedding with getting me the pictures and getting albums done. I will definitely be using her as our family grows.

ents candidly. Her photos tell our love story without any words needed. Silver Orchid Photography is a MUST HAVE for any photography needs.

c pictures and fun party pics. Tara is amazing, professional and so creative with her work. Thank you Tara for sharing our wedding day with us! We would highly recommend Silver Orchid to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Nick & Sara

every little detail and went above and beyond in every aspect. We couldn't have asked for more from them and that is why we highly recommend them. We are so happy to have found this group of amazing professionals and will continue to book with them for every occasion!

so enjoyable. The pictures are all phenomenal and truly capture the love that we felt on our wedding day.

ception with a slideshow of our pictures that were taken earlier that day for us and our guests to view!

the big day was super easy and she guides you along the way. Tara is AMAZING at what she does and flawlessly captured our wedding day. She went along with the crazy antics of our wedding party and perfectly captured our personalities. She does not do many posed portraits which we loved as everyone looks natural and relaxed in our photos. We will be using her for future life events!

ptured the true energy of that day with the candids (as we had requested). She is an absolute joy to have around as well. All of our family and friends had such great things to say about her, and she really did a great job making my nervous husband feel comfortable being in front of the camera. It was more like having a friend taking pictures! Not to mention that she steamed my wedding dress for me since no one else had time to! She is definitely the new family photographer. Her work was so great that the venue we used is now going to be using her as their house photographer. I cannot say enough good things, she really blew us away.

ble at all or not very creative. I saw some of Tara's work through a friends Facebook page and decided to meet with her. Wow. Her work is incredible! She is very personable, understanding and worked with our budget 100%. We got everything we wanted - and more! The pictures are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I'm still getting compliments from friends and family members three months after our wedding! To describe how flexible Tara really is - at our ceremony our speeches and dances were running long. Tara was suppose to be done working at 8:30pm. She approached me and my husband and explained that if she left - she would miss the cake cutting. She explained that she was going to stay - as long as it was okay with us - to capture that moment for us. Without hesistation - she stayed an extra TWO HOURS. She constantly checked in with us but it was like she wasn't even there! She floated around capturing beautiful moments that we now look back on with smiles. I HIGHLY recommend Silver Orchid Photography for ANY of your wedding day memories!

e makes you feel comfortable and at ease, which is hard to accomplish on your wedding day! I cannot wait for the next opportunity to have more memories captured by Silver Orchid!

h you from day one asking you questions about your vision for your wedding pictures. She makes sure that she knows what it is that is important to you. That way she knows just what to capture. I am totally camera shy and hate the feeling of an "in your face" photographer. Tara and her assistant are wonderful that way. We never knew that they were there! Yet they managed to capture everything and then some! I couldn't be happier with the results! From every detail that I took so long and agonized over for so many hours to the things I never even thought to ask her to capture she did it all. If you are looking for a wonderful photographer, a real people person and a great all around experience, with Silver Orchid Photography you cannot go wrong. She was even willing to work with us on a custom package that perfectly suited our needs! She reasonably priced and trust me, worth EVERY penny. Pictures are worth a thousand words and then some and for Silver Orchid Photography I just can't say enough! Look no further!
