Signature Shelley

ready. The weather was crazy on my wedding day but Shelley made sure that it would stay and gave me all the tips to make sure it looked good all night! My hair came out better than I could’ve ever imagined!!

t and will not allow you or your people to look anything but amazing, but she does it in a way that I can only describe as peaceful. Big Shelley fans over here.

an eye for perfection but her talent allows her to be fast and efficient. When I was trying to describe my vision and struggling to find the words, she found them for me. Days after the wedding, Shelley was the focal point of my bridesmaid group chat and how obsessed we all are with her. She's a dream and if you are lucky enough that she's available for your wedding, than hiring her can be a no brainer for you. Shelley, we just met but I love you. My family loves you. My friends love you. Thank you.

ith my creative ideas and still make them her own, while holding my hand and being the emotional support I needed on a very anxiety inducing weekend! She is a genius at what she does.

ny throughout the whole bridal process! She got up at 5am to start my hair on the big day, worked on 12 bridesmaid’s hair, stayed all day during photos to make sure I looked my best, AND then did a last minute hairstyle change right before the ceremony. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

ave around for the day, and stayed late to make sure my hair was secure with the veil before leaving for the venue. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend Shelley to anybody looking for an amazing wedding hair stylist!

process. She is a true master of her craft and so passionate about making you feel your best on your wedding day. Aside from being an amazing stylist, she is an incredible person with a heart of gold. Not only did I feel confident with my extensions, color and style (and it stayed in the ENTIRE day), my bridal party did as well. If you are looking for a stylist for your big day, I cannot recommend Shelley enough. Her passion and attention to detail shine through in all that she does and I'm so grateful for her.

l night and looked flawless for pictures. Not to mention, she listened to exactly what I wanted, she’s extremely professional and easy to work with. She made me feel like a princess and I am so happy that I will be able to look back and see that in my photos for years to come. Would highly recommend!!!

what she does and she exudes confidence so she is the perfect person to have around on your wedding day. Most importantly, she is dependable and showed up on time and ready to go on the big day. I didn't worry about a thing! I was so happy with the final outcome and I got so many compliments about my hair.

tire night and I got so many compliments. I would definitely recommend her!

ularly for hair cuts/coloring and had gotten to have her do my hair as a bridesmaid previously. But, it wasn't until getting my hair trial and then getting to have her be with me on my "getting ready" morning on my wedding day that my appreciation and admiration for her grew. She is not only an awesome stylist but just an incredible human being! She exudes kindness and has such a calming presence! My bridesmaids loved her, too! Everyone's up-dos looked incredible!!! She works with everyone until she gets their how just how they want it. Shelley also moved at an incredibly fast pace and was way ahead of schedule. I cannot rave about her enough! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!! :)

am normally terrified of having anyone touch my hair because I naturally have very curly hair, so I straighten it and then have it styled. Which you think wouldn't be very hard but so often people put way too much hairspray and what not but not Shelley! She literally in 10 minutes fixed what one of the hairdressers had done to my hair making me literally look like I had voluminous VS hair, I kid you not. But it gets better...when we were taking pictures Shelley noticed how uncomfortable I was with the wind blowing my beautifully tossled hair into my lip gloss and face. She took me aside and legitimately in 3-5 min before we were supposed to line up she threw my hair into the coolest side braid with a twist on the side. I received so many compliments--more than ever before! I felt awesome and not only is she great at hair she was professional and so sweet and just made my day! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and already told her I will be using her for my wedding (knock on wood! haha).

ir style picture that I showed her. I hired Shelley for myself and a few others and another salon from Traverse City for my bridesmaids and she completely blew them away. I live in Chicago and she worked with my schedule and made me feel confident every step of the way! If I could do it all over again, and of course if there was more time, I would've hired Shelley for every person in my bridal party. Highly recommend!

e input on what she thought would look good. I loved getting to know Shelley and can't wait to reconnect with her in the future if/when she comes to Chicago!

as well as all my bridesmaids and she did an absolutely amazing job. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my hair from here on out! She is very efficient and cares for each client individually to make sure they are completely satisfied. I would absolutely recommend Shelley to anyone that is looking for complete satisfaction and to have no worries on their wedding day or any event. I could't tell you how many people complimented on my hair and my bridesmaids! I'm so happy that I chose Shelley and I know anyone would feel the same & agree!

th me during our photos to fix my hair between shots, and overall was just incredible to be around. THANK YOU Shelley! You're a god send for all brides and we're absolutely incredible.

there. She did an incredible job for my bridesmaids, moms and self. Our special day wouldn't have been the same without Shelley, her smiling face and talented work. She brightens up the room and has a broad repertoire of styles. She offers her opinion and styles your hair in the most professional manner. I couldn't be more glad that we went with Signature Shelley. She will truly be a lifelong friend and hair stylist for me.

ful for my sister's special day. Thank you Shelley!

ll of you blondes out there know that its nearly impossible to get to the perfect blonde and she does it. Every. Single. Time. We then were lucky enough to have Shelley be a part of my younger sister's wedding day. She worked with all of the bridesmaids that day and not only did everyone look absolutely stunning, but everyone spoke extremely highly of Shelley and her skill. She is a MUST. You will never find anyone quite like her... both skill level and the way she makes you feel after the fact. Her enthusiasm, passion and overall genuine concern for the way you look and feel with her is unstoppable.

❤️ She did an outstanding job, and the most important is exactly what i have asked her of . My family and all the bridesmaids loved her easy going personality and charm ...

lley is incredibly talented and REALLY listened to what I was envisioning and created a beautiful style I loved! Plus, she is a blast to hang out with! She was also amazing with our entire bridal party and made each girl feel individually beautiful! Absolutely adored every second and SO HAPPY she was willing to travel to San Diego for our wedding! BOOK her now! :)

eel so comfortable and special when it was their time in her "chair". My daughter, the Bride, was so at ease and stress free during the whole "getting ready" process because of Shelley. Not to mention she looked absolutely gorgeous and her hair turned out exactly how she dreamed . Shelley is so creative and talented but completely listens to your ideas and works with you to give you the perfect style. The wedding venue was close to where Shelley was having dinner with her own friends the night of the wedding and she offered to stop in after dinner to check on the Bride to see if she needed anything. To say she goes above and beyond would be an understatement. I wish I could give her a MILLION STARS!!! Absolutely count not have asked for more!!!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING Shelley!!! You are amazing!!! Sincerely, The Mother of the BRIDE!!!!!

sure that you love your hair style and are comfortable on your Big Day! I would definitely recommend doing a hair trial before your wedding in order to work out all of the kinks; I was literally stress-free on wedding day. I felt so at ease knowing that Shelley would do my hair exactly as I dreamed and I didn't stress one bit. Together, with my sisters and moms, she was so fun and gave everyone the hair style they were hoping for! I would DEFINITELY recommend Shelly a million times over!

ural hair to styling your hair to complete perfection--Shelley never misses a beat. If I could give Shelley more than five stars I would; she's my go-to-gal for all things hair! And not to mention, she travels! You've gotta love a girl who will take her work with her on the road - and deliver the BEST of the BEST wherever she lands! Literally, 'Wow, the best ever!'

ence that leaves you dreaming of your next visit. Shelley is talented, personable, knowledgable and creative. She takes time to listen to your wants and needs...then creates magic with color, style, and cut that delivers exceptional results. Shelley's passion for her work shows time after time and is what makes her a fabulous stylist. Working in the service industry myself, I can genuinely say she is the best of the best!

te touch ups! Couldn't have asked for anyone better.

ny positive comments about my hair from people attending the wedding and those looking at the photos. She was as sweet as can be and even went to the venue with us for touch ups prior the ceremony. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her in the future.

make me feel my absolute BEST on my wedding day! Shelley accommodated my out-of-state schedule by consulting with me over the phone, even while she was travelling, she carved time for me. Shelley followed up with hair care tips and of course expert insider ideas when preparing the best possible hair for my wedding day! I really enjoyed my preparation time with Shelley as she has a very relaxed demeanor & is incredibly organized; a true dream for any bride-to-be! I knew Shelley was incredible from the beginning, I didn’t realize the importance of this until she blended perfectly with all of the girls on our wedding day. Each of my bridesmaids means the world to me and Shelley made each girl feel like they were a princess for the day, she connected personally & incorporated each individual’s style for one stunning wedding party. Shelley single-handedly perfected 8 bridesmaids along with my hair on our wedding day. I have no doubt that Shelley managed our morning flawlessly with ease due to her organization and most importantly passion. I HIGHLY recommend all brides to trust Shelley, she is beyond talented. if you are considering Shelley for your own wedding, contact her now and you will understand why she is the best, book her!

d the perfect look for all 8 of my bridesmaids as well. We have all stood up in a zillion weddings, and use each of those as a test of what we like and don't like for the next one. This time, Shelley nailed it on the first try! Every single one of my girls was obsessed with their hair for the first time ever! Shelley was also so personable and kind, it truly feels like she was an extended member of my family the entire day. She even came with us from the hotel to the venue to make sure we were all touched up and looked out best! I can't recommend Shelley enough, and I cant wait until the next time I have an event back in Michigan so she can do my hair. She is truly an artist and an incredible person. You will not regret booking with Shelley!

ofessional but it was also just like hanging out with your best friend. Shelley took the idea I had and made it even better. Solely based on our discussion the morning of my friends wedding she knew exactly what to do to style and make sure my hair would stay the entire day. I have been in A LOT weddings over the years (some of my friends even call me 27 dresses) and this was the FIRST time I have ever liked, no LOVED my hair so much. I promise you Shelley will not disappoint.

Shelley excellent at what she does, but she is just so sweet and fun to be around!!! I will definitely continue to use Shelley when I need my hair done for future events or when I need extensions!

ponsive. As soon as I contacted Shelley, she emailed me back right away. The same day we spoke over the phone and after getting off the phone, I felt so excited and confident with her. Shelley has such a great personality and her work is amazing. All my girls and I felt so beautiful and our hair held up all night. I would highly recommend Shelley!

g day, she made sure my hair was perfect! Not only is Shelley incredible at what she does, she is truly a kind and genuine person that makes you feel so special during the whole experience. She made my Wedding day so wonderful and I would definitely recommend her to any Bride-to-be!!

booking for hair and make-up. After seeing glowing reviews and stalking her weddings on Facebook, I gave her a call to see if she was available and willing to travel to Bay Harbor, MI for my August wedding. She was so easy to talk to on the phone and she knew all of the right questions to ask. For most brides, the next step would be to schedule a trial with your hairstylist to make sure you are happy with their work (especially after just having a bad experience). Well, the kicker is that I live in Florida and there was only so many times I could make my way up to Michigan. I booked her on the spot and crossed my fingers. I also wanted extensions put in my hair before the wedding. Since I was unable to make it back up to Michigan, Shelley had to color match my hair through pictures I sent her (I know, I’m crazy). I flew up to Michigan 3 days before my wedding for Shelley to apply the extensions. So, needless to say, they needed to match or I was out of luck. They matched perfectly! Shelley traveled to Bay Harbor, MI Friday afternoon with a makeup artist, Nikoletta, that she totally put together for me. They did hair and make-up for myself and my mother-in-law for my rehearsal dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. For the wedding on Saturday, Shelley styled hair for myself, five bridesmaids and my mother-in-law. Everyone just loved her. My mother, who is not an easy woman to please, absolutely loved all of her updos and styles. She was so easy be around, very calm (which is EXTREMLY important on your wedding day) and she’s basically your psychologist for the day. I’m officially obsessed with Shelley and Nikoletta’s work. They are a KILLER team. You cannot go wrong with Shelley. I would and will recommend her to anyone and everyone!

iple people ask me who did my hair and all of my bridesmaids as well. I loved her so much she now does my hair on a regular basis. Trust me, you cannot go wrong with this girl!!

oth and structured as possible. She communicated with me, the makeup artist and the photographer so everything was organized and on time!! Thank you so much Shelley!!

there in so long.... and then I found Shelley. I've worked with a lot of hair and make-up people in my line of work and let me just say this: If you want a perfect hair experience from start to finish then you want to book shelley for your wedding day (or any day). Let's start at the very beginning- Shelley is amazing at communicating. She always responded to my emails in a timely manner. For my trial, she spent hours with me making sure she understood what look I was going for, offering her expertise and trying a bunch of different looks that I was obsessed with (so much so that it made it so hard to decide which way to go!!) She then takes meticulous pictures of your hair so she can reference it on the day of the wedding! For the day of, not only did she do such an AMAZING job on my hair, but her energy and overall coolness is the EXACT type of energy you want around you on your wedding day. She's sweet, she's chill, she's fun to talk to and most importantly, she's beyond talented. She (and her team) did such an amazing job on my hair, and every bridesmaid as well as my husbands mother - ranging from up-do's to big curls to a perfect blowout and more! Another thing I love about Shelley is that she loves people who know exactly what they want and executes it perfectly (like my best friend) but is also pure perfection when you need a guidance and help deciding (like me!) I truly could not have been happier with my hair or with Shelley and I'm SO happy I found her! Trust me you will be happy every time you look at a photo of yourself from your wedding day that you had Shelley do your hair!!!

updo turned out even better than the photo ideas I showed her, and it stayed in place all night. She did a different style for each of my bridesmaids, and they all turned out beautiful. Can't recommend her enough! Thanks Shelley!

ality is so warm and cheerful that you feel like one of your closest girlfriend's is doing your hair on your big day! Would highly recommend her to any bride-to-be!!!!!

took her time during both my trial session and on the wedding day and did such an incredible job. Both her and her partner made all of my girls hair look so amazing as well, coming up with so many creative hairstyles for each of them. I would highly recommend Shelley for her incredible talent and sweet personality, and can't wait to return to her for other hair services!

Thank you Shelley , I couldn't have been happier !!
