he smallest of questions. Wedding day she could not be there but she ensured me my day will be great and it was. The two ladies who were there on my wedding were Kaitlyn and Jenna they killed it! The wait staff was amazing the cooks were amazing the food was amazing my guest said it was the best wedding food they have had. The people who set up were amazing. I am so eternally grateful for the whole staff that made my wedding amazing. I truly met it when I said thank you to anyone and everyone that crossed my Path. I may have scared the kitchen staff but I truly met my thank yous and all the praise I gave everyone who worked my day to make my wedding special. I do hope this is shared to upper management I want to have all the staff that worked my wedding may 2 2026 to get recognition. I know how to be on the other end of an event I use to work at a hotel and I know not getting the recognition can sting sometimes. So I hope I made everyone feel that I appreciated them being there and working so I had an amazing time. Thank you I don’t think I can ever thank you enough to be honest. She was detailed oriented and made sure every aspect we wanted for our wedding was perfect. On the day of, Alex was there for every step of the day, making sure our timeline was on track and that we also had eaten or had a fresh drink. The venue itself is so amazingly beautiful--all of our guests commented on how special and beautiful the setting and location is. The food itself was excellent and the service was efficient but also excellent, making sure to pay close attention to any dietary restrictions that our guests needed. We had the most perfect wedding day at Shepherd's Hollow.

They also work with fantastic vendors, which made the entire planning process feel smooth and seamless. The only thing to be aware of is that prices are subject to change even after securing your date, so just be prepared to stay flexible. I also wish there had been one large document outlining all pricing, options, and add-ons instead of multiple separate documents. It made organizing everything a little more difficult at times — but honestly, this was easy to overlook because the team was always so helpful and communicative. If it’s within your budget, I would absolutely recommend Shepherd’s Hollow. It was truly an unforgettable experience! ✨

They were so responsive throughout planning and always quick to help bring any idea to life. They also work with so many amazing vendors, which makes everything flow so smoothly. We used several of their recommended vendors for photography, florals, and entertainment, and all were fantastic. If you’re having a band, they even handle providing the stage for you (which is such a lifesaver) so you don’t have to worry about outsourcing that part. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and every detail was handled beautifully. Our venue coordinator, Alex Premo, was one of our absolute favorite people we worked with during the entire wedding process. She’s so kind, calm, and organized, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. If you’re getting married at Shepherd’s Hollow, ask for ALEX! We couldn’t be happier that we chose Shepherd’s Hollow for our wedding day. It was everything we hoped for and more!

She kept everything on track, communicated so clearly, and even made sure we had food and drinks in our hands throughout the day—no small task when you’re the bride and groom constantly getting pulled in a million directions! The venue handled all of the setup, which allowed us to truly enjoy every moment without any of the stress. Everything was exactly how we envisioned it. And best of all? Nothing went wrong. Not one thing. It was the smoothest, most joyful, love-filled day, and we owe so much of that to the amazing team at Shepherd’s Hollow. If you're considering this venue—do it. It's gorgeous, the staff is incredible, and they will go above and beyond to make your day unforgettable. We’re still floating from how perfect everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

There's no need to go all out with flowers, decor, and expensive accessories because the natural splendor of the venue shines on its own. Jenna, our coordinator, was exceptional—professional and attentive, ensuring that our special day ran smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the wedding day, she was incredibly helpful and accommodating, addressing our needs and making us feel at ease. Jenna was beyond responsive and far more reliable than many vendors I worked with. Her experience, knowledge, and coordination skills were truly impressive. The catering was outstanding, featuring delicious food that all our guests raved about. We chose the lobster and steak option, and it did not disappoint. Many of our guests commented that the wedding food was the best they had ever had. We also opted for the dessert table, which the kids at the wedding absolutely loved. However, some older guests missed it because it was only available for one hour. In hindsight, I wish we had asked for it to be available longer so everyone could enjoy it when they were ready. Given the cost per head, I suggest that add-on items like this be offered for a longer period. It is my understanding that it is currently capped at one hour. There was one issue that actually did hinder our guests' experience, and it revolved around the bar and bar staff. Our guests mentioned long waits at the outside bar during the cocktail hour. It turns out that because we opted for the outside bar enhancement, the two inside bars were closed—something that was never communicated to us. We wouldn't have paid for an enhancement that resulted in lesser than service. This is important to bring to attention, as it felt like a waste of money that detracted from our guests' enjoyment. Additionally, several guests complained about the attitude of one bartender. While I didn't witness this myself, it was mentioned by multiple (unrelated) guests, so it's worth noting. Despite these issues, we were very happy with our choice of Shepherd's Hollow as our wedding venue. The negative comments were brought to our attention only after the wedding day (because we asked). We mention these issues to shed light on areas that could benefit from better communication and potentially a more positive attitude from staff. Overall, our experience was positive, and the beauty of the location made our wedding day unforgettable.

dinner, especially the variety of drink options and the appetizer selections — which were very fun to choose at the showcase! The bridal suite was ideal for getting ready as well. It made the day so relaxed even with a larger bridal party. Jenna was a huge help with details and all of my questions. The timeline for our day couldn’t have gone any smoother! This venue truly has it all and was built with the guest experience in mind. If you want a beautiful modern wedding, this is truly a gem in Michigan!

the grand Station! Inside you are surrounded by windows and marble floors. We had so many comments on how delicious the appetizers and main course dinner was and how the staff was so attentive. We appreciate very much the help from Jenna McDonnell in making it all happen!

hroughout the year there is no bad time to choose this venue (though it's particularly beautiful in the summer and at Christmas time). It's impossible to take a bad photo of this place! The food is SO so good. I dread bad wedding chicken, so went in pretty skeptical, but we served filet, chicken, and a custom pasta option that our guests are still raving about months later. We opted for the gold package with the ultra premium bar, and it was worth it for that splurge. Our guests were so impressed with the custom stamped ice cubes, the premium liquor selection, and expanded wine options. The appetizers were great--while you definitely need to go to the tasting expo to find the good options, we found 4 that we were happy with. And the venue saved the groom and I a special plate of apps so that we could try them during dinner. We rented the bridal suite which is a MUST for any bride here! The attendant took care of our every need, from food to coffee and tea, and while I wasn't particularly nervous or stressed to begin with, the level of service in this suite made getting ready a breeze! We were warned about the acoustics not being great in such a big space, but we had no issue at all. We could hear the ceremony music (harp and violin), DJ, speeches all just fine. Would recommend talking to your DJ about the space first if they've never been there, but if they're a professional they should be just fine. All in all just can't say enough good things about the Shepherd's Hollow team, space, details, food, communication, set up...I can't wait to go back for anniversary dinners and will be encouraging all my friends to choose this space so that I can experience another magical wedding here!

guest was taken care of throughout the night. We had so many guests rave about how quickly servers would help them. The bar never had a long line. The food was great. Our coordinator Jenna was so sweet and helpful. She helped us with each and every detail. Shepherd's charges for everything for a reason. They work their tail off to make everything perfect. We stepped inside the building just before the ceremony and were in awe at the number of people shining the glass, wiping the floors, and making sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Shepherd's Hollow for a beautiful and absolutely perfect wedding day.

r our wedding. The staff is outstanding, everything from booking with Kelly to the working with our coordinator Alex. Any questions or emails I sent with questions I had a response on average within 24 hours or sooner. The venue is stunning, and I can't wait to see our final photos, this was a once in a lifetime experience and my husband and I had no regrets. The full experience was top notch!

and speeches were hard to hear if the speakers didn’t hold microphones super close. Most requests and modifications cost extra ie extra time in bridal suite, serving passed drinks, extra hour on reception. Overall perfect wedding!!
