We had our wedding afterparty here and had a blast! We kept the party going til it closed. Definitely more of a clubby atmosphere, and that was great for us! We decided against r...

I had my rehearsal dinner here back in June. The food and service was phenomenal. My guests and I all had a great time. My husband and I got so much compliments on what a great pla...
ce we picked. We were very well taken care of the entire night. You also cannot beat the view here. Although it was rainy and very cloudy when we were there, our guests still enjoyed the view overlooking the Hudson River and Mid-Hudson Bridge. I live nowhere nearby but if I did, I would definitely come back again and again. It’s a nice restaurant to throw any type of event. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Shadows in the winter room. They were very accommodating to our requests, changes, and let us bring in our own change without a plate fee. Our family...
/friends loved the room and the view. The food was delicious, and everything went smoothly. Our waiter was really attentive and friendly. He did a great job, and we are so happy that we picked Shadows for our rehearsal dinner.
had our our rehearsal dinner here food was great, the white room was nice and intimate.
I LOVE Shadows. It has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a student at Marist. It's a huge part of why we chose The Grandview as our reception venue!

ervice is always amazing, not to mention to views. We had a large group of 30 that was easily accommodated WITH RIVER VIEWS! They also tailored our linens to match the wedding colors and made a delicious cake for dessert! Our wedding party and close family had a blast at our rehearsal dinner.
We also returned the next night for our after party for some more fun with a live band!
The service and the food were amazing! There is no doubt that the atmosphere is beautiful!!!
I was just a little upset because we were pushed out a certain time to make way for ...

Shadows on the hudson was a beautiful place and perfect for our rehearsal dinner- food was great, drinks were great and it was a good deal. My only complaint was them rushing us ou...
t of the place- but I suppose I understand because they had another rehearsal dinner coming in- Just didnt like the way they did it (by literally clearing the tables/table cloths with us still sitting there- they could have at least asked us politely and told us another party was coming in). But it was still a great place!
My rehearsal dinner was scheduled on october 29th, during that freak snowstorm. I had 22 ppl in my party and they stayed open just for us. It was one less thing to worry about know...
ing we still had somewhere to go for dinner, knowing dutchess county was in a state of emergency. Everyone there was very friendly and the food was delicious!
beautiful view, fun environment. it was so nice to walk on the waterfront after dinner and take some group pictures. They had a guitarist playing live music that was a bit too loud

We had such a nice rehearsal dinner here! The food was great and the views stunning. It was a Saturday night so the place was packed and it was very noisy, so we didn't really hav...

My wonderful Matron of Honor picked Shadows with my mothers and did a fantastic job for by bridal shower. The only thing I didn't like was that she got locked into a contract for a...
bout 20 people and there were a lot of people who didn't respond to her invitation at all and she was stuck paying for about 5 or 8 heads who were not there. A contract is a contract but paying that much extra and the food was just okay in my opinion, was a little disappointing from such a new and eager to please venue. The views are beautiful, the facility was clean, the staff was pleasant but the food wasn’t fantastic. They could have made the experience more memorable.
